March 25th-- Hey everyone, I just did a little updating to Emily's site for you all. We are just busy getting goodies for her for easter... there is not much that's baby proof :) but we are finding some things. I know she is going to love the Easter bunny bringing her a basket full of goodies. I will take pictures of her finding her eggs out in the yard too.... going to be fun.

Well, she has her 15 month check up on monday the 30th. Her Dr. wanted to check how her big head is growing. Also make sure that she is progressing like she should with her size in general. Plus we have another tooth coming in......yeah....makes for a crabby baby for a few days/weeks.

Check back for her visit results after Monday and around easter for cute pictures of her and her goodies from the Easter bunny.  Take care everyone.

March 10th---- Whew..... it's been a while since I updated Emily's website. We have been busy here. We went to Atlanta last weekend to visit Shawn at his class. There we went to the aquarium and a little zoo. There are pictures on the pics page. Emily had sooo much fun at the zoo.

She is now walking more then ever. She does not crawl much anymore. We are starting to let her walk in the stores and whereever we are at. She loves it. She sometimes gets all ahead of herself and tries to go too fast. She also is starting to get another tooth in,,, that would make for 5!!!!

We have graduated from the sippy cups with 2 handles to a cup with no handles and still like a sippy cup. She can hold onto it with both hands now and drink like a big girl, :)

We went fishing this past weekend and Emily had fun. Daddy however didn't get any bites or any fish :( but we are going to try again later on. We are also planning on a camping trip in the next month or so. Emily and I are soooo excited because Daddy has never wanted to go camping before. So now we are looking for the right place to go with Emily. It should be fun,, camping with a 15 month old.... But we are looking forward to it. I will keep everyone updated as it happens and take lots of pictures.

Ok enjoy the updates and I will try to do it more often as she grows.

February 19th--It's been a while since I updated her website. Things have been busy around here, Daddy has been studying for Msgt and Mommy took a trip home to Wisconsin to visit. Now that I am back I am updating on our little monster. She is now walking. She was encouraged by Daddy last week. Now she is unstoppable.

She normally pulled up on something to walk from one end of the house to the other. BUT today we were outside in the yard and she was walking and sat down,, THEN,, she got up without pulling up on anything. :) I am soo proud of her. She is getting soo big.

She is growing like a weed. She is still eating like a little piggy. Also she is learning soo many new things. There are now 4 teeth in her little mouth too. Two on top and two on bottom. I believe there is one more coming in too,,, yeah gotta love the teething.

Alright I will update more often now. So check back for updates and our new email address which is: our_email_00@yahoo.com.

January 11th-- Today we took Emily to a park on base and took her on the swing.. She loves it as usual. I can't wait until she is bigger and able to run around and play on everything. But it was a little chilly. Close to 50 degrees so it was kind of fun to be out in the cold playing some.

We also found out last week that Emily's blood work is NORMAL.. The Dr. had some concerns about her blood work from when she was born and rechecked it at her one year mark, but thankfully there is no trace of anything anymore. It would have been called Beta-Cell Thalasema-- infancy terms,, which means that she would have carried a trait that caused anemia. But she doesn't!!!! Also her iron levels are fine and everything is great.

She sould be going in soon for her next check up, I believe her Dr wanted to see her at 15 months just to monitor her growth. Other than that no walking yet, but she's getting more brave on pushing her toys and moving from the couch to the stool... so one of these days she will just let go and walk on her own. So check back soon for updates
