Stories August 14, 2009 Owen took his first ride on a real live train today and it was Thomas the Tank Engine!! A cheeky, little engine! Won't be long now until our Lil Man turns 3. Where has the time gone? We hope everyone is doing well!
February 14, 2009 Happy Valentine's Day! Owen went to see the Monster Jam today at The Q (Quicken Loans Arena) in Cleveland. He loved it! He got to meet all 8 drivers including his favorite TMNT. He also met Grave Digger, Bounty Hunter, Black Stallion and some locals. He had such a great time. We put some pictures on the front page as well as some additionals in the pictures page. We hope everyone is doing well! August 30, 2008 Oh my gosh our baby turned 2 today!! Where has time gone! Owen celebrated his second birthday today with his Great Grandma, Grandpas, Grandmas, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. He had a John Deere themed party and had lots of fun. His party started at 12:03 PM and no one had to ask why..much to our surprise. :-) Owen has grown into a fine lil man who is full of energy and mischief! He loves tractors, monster trucks, "meederman" (Spiderman) and TMNT. He has really begun talking a lot lately and is very opinionated...wonder where he gets that from?! :-) Owen sees the doctor on Tuesday for his two year check up. We will report more later. Happy Labor Day everyone! August 1, 2008 We went to Smoke on the River for ribs today! YUM! We weren't there long, but Owen still managed to get pretty tired. We beat the crowd and got to enjoy our ribs with only a few people there. I think vacation is taking a lot out of all of us! Penta will be moving the offices next week and school will be open soon so we are packing lots of fun things into just a couple of days of vacation! July 31, 2008 Owen loved the fair today! He enjoyed seeing the tractors, the tractor square dance and all of the animals! He really had a great time! July 30, 2008 Owen is 23 months old today! Can you believe it? We are planning a trip to the Wood County Fair this week. I finally got to take a couple days off. The big Penta move is in full swing and time off is a luxury! We hope he has a great time! Things here are pretty good. Owen is getting over being sick and is getting back to being himself. Hope this post finds everyone well! June 15, 2008 Happy Father's Day from Owen! Owen is now 21 1/2 months old! He went to the zoo on Friday and had lots of fun. Today he gave Daddy his father's day gift and is busy playing now. Have a great day! May 26, 2008 Happy Memorial Day! It's hard to believe that Owen will be 21 months old this week! Time is sure flying by! We hope everyone is doing well! May 11, 2008 Happy Mother's Day from Owen! He hopes everyone has a great day! May 3, 2008 Owen went tonight to see the Mud Hens play. It was very cold after about the first hour, but he had a great time. Mud Hens won 4-0 and he got to see some home runs. I took him down by home plate so he could see better and he really thought that was cool! He was hollering back at the guy when he got the crowd yelling "Mud Hens" and "Base Ball!" We went with Aunt Melissa and Uncle Nathaniel. March 28, 2008 Owen spent the week with a new sitter this week. He struggled when we left, but she assures us that he quiets down quickly and has fun with the kids. He hasn't been eating well for her, but that's the way he is sometimes. His molars are really affecting him this week too. All is well with us and we hope things are great with all of you! March 23, 2008 Happy Easter from all of us! Owen had a great basket left by the Easter Bunny and enjoyed an Easter egg hunt! He ended up having a peanut butter egg for breakfast. :-( Who knew he could unwrap the package so quickly. :-) We spent Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Boyer's and Owen enjoyed spending time with everyone! March 6, 2008 Owen is now 25 lbs, 8 oz and 32 1/4". He is healthy and doing great! He has a rather stubborn streak in him, but so do his parents. :-) March 2, 2008 Owen is 18 months old now and has developed quite the independent streak! He has become his own little self. He has his 18 month check up this week. Be sure to check back for details. :-) January 17, 2008 Owen had his first hair cut today. He did great! He fake cried some, but was so good. He sat in the chair like a big boy and just let Denise cut away. WTG Owen! December 25, 2007 Merry Christmas from all of us! Owen had a wonderful holiday and received so many wonderful gifts from his family. He is overwhelmed with things to play with and wear. He appreciates everyone helping him make his Christmas so special! Lots of love! December 7, 2007 Owen had his 15 month check up today. He is now 24lbs, 6 oz and 31 1/4" long. He now has 11 teeth! He has mastered the sippie cup with no stopper in it! Yeah! October 28, 2007 Owen went Trick or Treating today with his cousins Olivia and Mckenna. He liked his costume and had lots of fun. September 10, 2007 Owen is 21 lbs 14 oz and 29 3/4" now. He is growing like a weed and is a strong little man. He easily mastered walking and is now into everything. He likes to pretend feed Boo by putting his letters in the bowl and then pouring the dog gravy over the top. :-) September 1, 2007 Owen had his first birthday party today. He thanks everyone who was able to attend and hopes everyone had a great time! He also thanks everyone for his birthday presents. :-) He loves them all and has been very busy playing with everything!

This also marked Owen's first vacation. Mommy, Daddy, Papa and Grandma Boyer all came along for the ride. We spent a "Day Out with Thomas" in Flint, MI. We marked the day with a souvenir train car from Grandma and PaPa and a couple of tee shirts. We also have many pictures! One with Thomas himself and one with Sir Topham Hatt! Everyone had a great time, especially Owen! We even spent two nights in a hotel. This was also a first for Owen.
