We have missed your late night messages that you use to leave on the voice mail at Loving Hearts. We hope that you are all doing very well. We are having our fall festival at Loving Hearts soon and was wondering (if my mind serves me correctly)where you were able to get all those little pumpkins for us last year. I just got my first road bike when we moved to Reno. You like Boulder, you would love Reno/Tahoe. We love the lake and the skiing...so close. What an an adorable little boy you have. I am so glad we got the chance to catch up a little bit. Isn't parenting amazing?! How fast they grow! I'll keep checking out this site...I had to go through all 1600+ pictures this morning. He is so adorable and definitely has Leslie's eyes. Can't wait to see more of Garrett growing up. It has been fun to see the pictures of Garrett and to see all the things he does. He is getting so big. I show Clayton and he is amazed at the little boy on the screen. What a neat website to keep everyone up to date on "The Life and Times of Garrett". Your dad and Jan were here to visit in PA in Sept. They tuned us into your website. Hope you can convince Mark and new wife Deirdre to think about expanding their family. Of course that is hard to do with him in Kuwait and her in Texas. That is the Army for you. Mark enjoyed visiting with you at your dads in CO. Hope you cousins can get to know each other and keep in touch. Family means everything. Hope to see you and your family in the future. I am so thrilled that you and Matt decided to bring Garrett to Loving hearts. I am truly blessed because I get to see him every day. With Peyton (& sometimes her entire preschool class). I am finally able to pull up your website. My security settings kept me from being able to view Garrett's pictures until today. He is a cutie! I really enjoyed reading your journal. It helps one understand the stress of having a family, a newborn no less, when Daddy is gone. Matt, I am so proud of you and thank you for all that you (& Leslie) have sacrificed for us. Garrett gets to hear daddy's voice on the speaker phone, but has to be waiting for daddy to come home, so he can re-familiarize himself with his touch, his arms, his face, his smile, and his love. I know that mommy can hardly wait til daddy gets home either! Love you all! - Grandma and Grandpa W.
