Greetings,

Well, we have had an wonderfully warm summer and yet there is still more to come! It has been really warm around here all summer. Gavin is still growing like a weed. He is currently 22 lbs and 30 inches long. Makes me wanna cry! I really can't beleive where the time goes! So if you have a little one at home enjoy every little moment! We had our annual Gala Days celebration in Rhame in June. It was the 50th Gala Day and Rhame's Centenial, so it was a big one. There were street dances, games, parades, rodeo and Fireworks and lots of other fune things to do. Gavin had a great time. He watched to parade that daddy and a few firemen built an old coal train engine that was very neat to see.By the time the parade was over he went to take a nap! HAHA. Then we watched the vollyball games then we went to see the lawnmower races. Gavin was so tuckered out the he missed the Fireworks at dusk.

The 4th of July we went to Marmarth, ND to watch daddy drive a firetruck in the parade. Gavin came home with one very large bag of candy. We spent the rest of the day inside because it was so hot! That night we watched to fireworks around town from our deck. Gavin was truley amazed, but the amazement didn't last long he was so tired that he fell asleep watching the fireworks. This summer we went fishing in the little missouri and only caught 1 fish ! A cat fish. Gavin wasn't too sure about the whole thing, but auntie Allison got him to touch it and then he thought it was pretty cool! Well, not much else going on this summer, kinda boring around here.
