Gianna has started smiling this week. Earlier this week it was small usually before she fell asleep, but now it is when she is awake and happy. She is so cute, we cant wait to catch it on camera. Also we are trying to get Gianna to take a bottle this week. Since we are going to Wango Tango this next weekend she needs to be able to have Nonie Aguilar be able to feed her so mommy can have a little break. It has already started out a little rocky, its hard for Mommy hear her crying while daddy gives her a bottle.
Gianna got her first round of baby shots. 2 in each leg. My poor baby =(. She was fussy and cried for most of the day. She is 22 1/2 inches and 10lbs 12oz. She is getting so big. She finally fits her first pair of jeans from Aunt Jolissa and Uncle Jeff. Which she wore to her first Dodger game.
Of course she couldnt enjoy it because she slept the whole time but we all headed to the Long Beach Aquarium to hang out for her Daddys birthday. She loved being pushed in her stroller by her Nonna.
Gianna has been having so much fun with all her Aunties, Uncles and her grandparents. April 5th was her uncle Williams birthday, April 25th was her auntie Sharons birthday and April 28th was her Nonies birthday (Grandma Aguilar). She did pretty well at all the restaurants we went out to. She is such a good baby.
We headed to church in her adorable pink smocked dress for the 10am service. After church we headed to her Great grandmas house in Riverside. Everyone was there. She got to take some of her first pics with her cousin Olivier (Ollie) Faith who was born February 12, 2005. She loved being held by everyone and all the attention. After leaving Riverside we drove out to Los Angeles to hang out with her Dad's family. She loved again being held by all her relatives.
Gianna came home with us on Saturday March 12, 2005. It has been pretty great. I love staring at my baby girl. She is just beautiful. She wakes up every 2-3 hours for feeding and they are a little hard right now. She lost 10oz since being born, but I think gaining back pretty well. She has her first appointment next week.
Gianna Belle Williams was born Wednesday, March 9th 2005. She was a week late and 4 centimeters dilated, so the doctor wanted to induce. We were told to just head on over to the hospital. We checked in at 10:30am and I was put on pitocin to intensify the contractions. After about 6 hours they broke my water. Then the contractions really started yet I was still 4 centimeters dilated. Another hour and a half later I was given my epidural. I was feeling nice. After 2 hours and still 4 centimeters they gave me a boost in my epidural, but it didnt work. at 10:pm they decided to go ahead with a c-section due to failure to progress. They started the surgery and after too much drugs my lungs went numb. I could not breath and they would let Bryan in the room because they didnt want him freaking out. A few minutes later Bryan walked in just as they were about to pull her out. She was so beautiful. I wish I could of held her in my arms. Bryan was overjoyed, it was love at first sight.
