7/09 Happy 4th! What a weekend we had! We had so much fun on Friday Night- we watched Miracle and had a cookout, and did some sparklers. The boys LOVED the sparklers!! On Saturday we went to Derek and Lyssa's house for a cookout and then went to the fireworks in Wakefield. We met up with Myles friend Brandin and the boys all had a blast! On Sunday we went to Dan and Renee's for another cookout. We had a great time and a great 4th of July!!
6/09 We attended Myles graduation on Friday from ABC Pre-School! I can't believe my baby is going to Kindergarten. The kids put on quite a show!! They had this video montage of all the kids and the kids sang this beautiful song about America... Let's just say I was crying my eyes out!!! Myles was and still is pretty sad about missing his buddies. They are all going to different schools in the fall.
Other news- Wayne and I have been in lock-down for the last two weeks. Myles and Owen both came down with Swine Flu. They are both fine, but it's been a tough couple of weeks in the house, trying to juggle work from home and take care of the kids...
We just booked our next trip to Disney! We will be going next August and staying at Caribbean Beach Resort! We can't wait!!!!
We are so excited for Uncle Scott and Auntie Carrie's Wedding- we will all be going to Chicago in August for the wedding. It's going to be a great time.

6/09 Well if anyone out there still looks at this website- so sorry I have been slacking with the updates!! So much has happend since I last updated... but one big thing is that we just got home from our trip to DISNEY WORLD! We had such an amazing vacation. We all have the vacation blues and want to go back... in fact, we are already planning the next trip!!
Ok... So onto some updates!
Owen is almost 2... we will be celebrating his 2nd birthday next month. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is an amazing little boy. He is always making us laugh and copies everything his big brother does.
Myles is 5 years old now.... he is quite the kid let me tell you. He loves the Jonas Brothers and singing and dancing... he said when he grows up he wants to be a Jonas Brother, that and a builder. He starts Kindergarten in the fall!!! I cant believe my baby is going to school. I tear up just thinking about it... and I dont know why, because he has been in daycare/preschool but there is just something about this. I feel like for the first time he is going to be on his own. Today we are going to an Open House at the school so he will get a tour and they are having a storytime and crafts. It should be fun!
Wayne and I are doing great. We just celebrated our 6th anniversary. Can you believe that! It feels like we were married 1 year ago- life just goes by so fast when you have kids. He is still at Welch's and I am at Babson Capital.
Daisy Dog is 2 and starting to slow down finally! We can take her places with us now.. ha-ha! She is great and we all love her.

1/09 Best wishes for 2009 to all! Myles started winter Soccer and is doing great! Owen is growing so fast. Wayne and I are just having tons of fun watching them grow. Disney is coming up in less than 100 days and we have been having Disney nights on Fridays to help pass the time. We just cant wait for our trip!!
12/08 We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Owen and Myles were so much fun. They really enjoyed themselves. We had our first Thanksgiving Day Football Game - which we hope to continue each year. Scott and Carrie, Christy and John, Uncle Terry, Myles, Owen, Wayne and I had SO much fun and many, many laughs!! Then we walked back to Nannies and had a very YUMMY dinner. It was such a nice day. We hope everyone has a safe, and happy holiday. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
11/2 Happy Halloween! We have had a GREAT Halloween. Probably my favorite one so far. The boys had a parade at school and then a party and they had SO much fun. Us adults had so much fun watching them. Then Dominic and Madison, and Lilah all came over to Trick or Treat with Myles and Owen. Mom, Joanne, Danielle, Richard, and me and Wayne all enjoyed a nice dinner and Wayne's yummy cider! Such a fun holiday!! We are now looking forward to Thanksgiving and had to put out all the decorations today.
10/08 We had a great weekend- going Apple Picking and going back to Nonnies for dinner and then making an apple pie. Myles had picture day for Soccer- too cute! Owen is growing so fast!! He now points to his nose and belly and loves to show you how old he is. He is at a really fun age. Wayne is doing great at Welch's and being the best daddy and husband ever! I am working 4 days a week at Babson and am enjoying this time of year. I love apple picking, the fall weather, pumpkins and most of all watching the Red Sox and Patriots!!
9/08 Another busy month gone by. Myles started soccer. He is on the Orange Stones and he is REALLY GOOD! We love watching him play and he has a great team with lots of really nice kids. Owen is 14 months and really starting to change and become his own little person. Its amazing how different he is from when Myles was at that age. We are going to the Vineyard this weekend with the Nerdys and I am sure I will have lots of pictures to share soon. Hope everyone has a great fall!
8/08 Happy August! A speical Congrats to John and Kristen and their BEAUTIFUL new baby (Cupcakes). We have had tons of fun this summer. Owen turned 1 a few weeks ago and of course we celebrated with a Mickey Party! Owen did have surgery this past week- ear tubes! He did great. We were so scared for the little guy. Myles is 4 going on 14... he is such a big boy. Finally is in his own bed and we are all very proud of him. We got him a fish to celebrate- he named it Nick Jonas- he is crazy about the Jonas Brothers and wants to be a Rock Star. He keeps asking me when he will be old enough to be a rock star...Wayne and I are great. Jobs are both good and we are just enjoying watching these boys grow. We hope you all have had a great summer...can you believe its almost September. At least football is back!! Go Pats!
7/08 - Happy 4th of July! What a busy summer! We went to the "lake house" with the Nerney's for a great weekend and just got back from spending the 4th of July in Chicago. While we were there we celebrated Joanne's Retirement - we had a great time!!!! It was so good to see Scott and Jeff, Sheila, Johnny and Shannon! The kids had an amazing time and of course were very spoiled by everyone. The summer is flying by. The kids are growing so big. Owen is celebrating his 1st Birthday on the 27th. I can't believe it!!!! Hope that you are enjoying your summer.
5/08 Happy Mothers Day to all you Moms! I hope you had a wonderful day. We spent Mothers Day in Rockport. The weather was nice and the kids had so much fun and we got some great pictures. (as you can see....) May is the Birthday Month...Happy Birthday to Daddy, Uncle Chris, Steph, Uncle Jeff, Mom, Robyn, Michelle, Cakes....and anyone else I may have missed. This week we are taking mom to the Red Sox on Friday for her Birthday. It will be Owen's first game. We have the cape trip coming up and we are so excited because Kristi and Mike and Laney are joining and Christa, Bob, Maeve and Ronan too. We should have a great weekend. 4/29/08 Hi Everyone!! Hope you are all doing well. Life at the Goody house has been great.
Owen has hit some Major Milestones...taking his first steps, also starting to crawl, picking up cheerios and feeding himself, waving hi, he says Da-Da (his favorite word) and Ma-Ma, Ba-Ba, Daisy, and Diaper! He is just so smart and so cute and he has been so much fun to watch and love!! He has just turned 9 months old this week!!
Myles has been the best big brother. He loves Owen very much!! Myles has been busy at school and learning now how to read. He practices all his letters, and numbers and surprises us each day when he comes home from school and knows how to spell a new word!
Daisy- continues to be CRAZY! She has been kicked out of her dog walking group for being a distraction to the other dogs, so now stays home waiting for her Daddy to get home and take her for a walk!
Wayne and I are both good. Wayne's Birthday is coming up and our 5th Year Anniversary!! I cant believe how time flies. Our favorite time of the day has been around 8:30pm- when we can sit back on the couch and just enjoy talking to eachother and watching our shows in peace!!
3/08 Hope everyone has been well. We have had a long winter with lot's of colds and really looking forward to the spring. We have lot's of vacations planned- Cape Cod over Memorial Day Weekend, and Chicago for the 4th! Maybe a trip to Storyland too. Life is very crazy/busy with a 8 month old and a 4 year old but I wouldnt have it any other way. Myles and Owen are such great kids and bring so much enjoyment to us. Watching Owen and Myles together is amazing. They love eachother so much. I can already tell that they will always take care of eachother. We had a great St. Patty's day with our annual pub crawl and Easter was great at Nonnies for breakfast and then to Nannies for dinner....of course the kids got spoiled by the easter bunny- hitting 3 houses!! Hope to hear from you soon.
1/08 Happy New Year! We had a wonderful holiday. Myles was so excited and really made everything so much more fun for us. Owen is such a great baby. He is 6 months now- hard to believe. Time is just flying by. I started a new job at Babson Capital and so far love it. It is a nice change after being at the same place for 5 years. Wayne is doing great at Welch's. This week he is moving into his first office!! I have been feeling so lucky lately. I have a great husband and two adorable and loving children, a crazy yet lovable dog, a beautiful home and such a great family (mine and wayne's) and so many good friends. We truly are very lucky and I hope you all know how much I appreciate you in my life. Let's hope for a great 2008!!
12/2007 Well the holidays are now behind us! Wow... we have had a very busy couple of months filled with so many good memories. I am so lucky and thankful to have such a wonderful family. Owen's first Christmas was so good. We were lucky to get to host the Esposito Family Christmas party in our new home and everyone had so much fun... even Santa dropped by! We also hosted our friends annual booze exchange holiday get together and had so much fun! Lastly, we hosted Christmas dinner and made a Turducken. It was great having both our families together. Myles is sad it is all over and keeps asking us "when is it going to be Christmas again?" I hope you all had a great holiday and best wishes to you for a happy and healthy 2008!
11/15/07 I hope you enjoy the photos from the boys photo shoot. We have had such a busy fall, I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
10/31/07 Today was Owen's first Halloween. We all had so much fun. The boys both had Halloween Parties at School (Wayne and I left work early so we could go) and then we all came home to a great dinner (Nannie made beef stew and Auntie Coo Coo made the corn bread) Yummy!! After dinner we went Trick or Treating. This year was awesome. Myles is at such a great age. He was so excited and came home with a bag "stuffed" with candy.
We have had a nice fall. Starting with Disney, and then we went with the Nerneys up to the lake house in NH. The kids had SO much fun. Myles asked us tonight....if Thanksgiving is tomorrow? All he cares about is Christmas and he knows that Halloween comes first, then Thanksgiving and then finally Christmas. It should be a fun few months for us!!
Owen is doing GREAT, sleeping through the night....and just the happiest baby ever. We are so lucky to have these great kids.
9/07 Just back from DISNEY!! We had an AMAZING vacation. Our first vacation with just the 4 of us. The boys both enjoyed their time. Myles loved the Magic Kingdom and the rides and fireworks and just about everything about Disney. Owen loved having his family with him for 5 days of holding and kissing him every chance we had! Wayne and I really enjoyed watching the boys together and watching Myles face light up!! We truly had a "magical" time!!!!
8/24/07 Well, Owen Christopher Goodreau made his way into this world on July 27th at 12:16pm. He is an amazing little boy and we are so in love already...Especially the BIG brother Myles. It is so amazing to see Myles with Owen. He truly has so much love for his brother already. Wayne and I are trying to adjust to life with a newborn, a 3 year old, a puppy, a new home (hmm... what else can we add into this picture!) with very LITTLE sleep! Enjoy the pictures of our new family.
