We had a great time on our lil vacation to Missoula, MT. Hailey was so happy to have her daddy get to come with us. The drive was pleasant since the weather wasn't too bad when we drove there and back. The girls won 3rd overall and the Montana State Championship.

Aunt Nik Nik, Uncle Jerrad & Cousin Kaidence might get to come visit us for Christmas this year. We still don't know for sure, but we're hoping they can make it. We've had so many lonely holidays. We really miss our family back home in TEXAS!
Hope everyone likes the new pictures... They will be in the mail soon.

Today is October 14, 2009
Chase can get all over the room now.
He has learned to log roll and army crawl :) LOL!
Chase will be 6 months old on October 27th! ISN'T THAT CRAZY?! Gosh time is just flying by. He hasn't started veggies and fruits yet. We are slowly working on cereal. The doctor suggest waiting until he is 6 months for solids and said to start on cereal a couple weeks before we add in the veggies and fruits. For a breastfed baby he sure is big! He is probably about 18lbs and is wearing a lot of 6-9 months clothing. I so badly wanted a little baby and he is just getting so big so fast. Cute as can be. He is the funniest most curious little booger! He is as I type pulling at the table cloth on our side table checking it out with deep thought. I can just see the wheels turning as he seems to have the "I wonder what that is" look on his face. He's a very good baby. We don't have to listen to him cry because he is generally happy. Only crying when he actually needs something like milk or a diaper change or perhaps a little attention if he is tired of playing with toys on his play mat.
Hailey is doing well in school. She loves kindergarten. One day she came home from school and told us she had two new friends. They were boys too. Joe and I were shocked. She said David was playing with her pigtails in school and she liked him. HAHA... I cracked up. How cute! She talked about David and Tanner all week. Before school had started she never wanted anything to do with Boys... If they were on the playground at the park she would run away and if they were too close or looking at her the wrong way she made a face... not happy with the attention. Now she has decided some boys are not so bad. She rides the school bus every day and has made friends with a few of the kids that ride with her. On Tuesdays we go to Cheer practice. She is doing so much better. The 1st day she was shy and hid in the back of the lines while the other girls did their tumbling. She would pull her hair behind her ears and look at the floor. She still has a tendency to be shy if she isn't sure if she is doing the movements quite right but she practices at home & has gotten much more brave. She at least will say her cheers instead of hardly moving her mouth. Her first cheer competition is on November 21st in Missoula. That is a good 3 hour drive for us. Joe is taking leave so we can make a weekend out of it. I hope the girls can get the routine down well enough to perform on that day. They are all so young and the routine is a bit long.
