Wow- 10 and a half months old.  Where does the time go?  Caiden is getting so big and doing so many new things.  We love every second of it.  He loves to play peek-a-boo with you with anything he can pull over his eyes.  He loves to throw balls at you now that he has learned to throw.  He also stands up for long periods of time and bends his knees up and down and smiles so huge and dances.  It is so cute.  He is very close to taking steps, but we'll take it one day at a time, we are in no rush for him to grow up.  :)  He is a cuddler and loves to be held and snuggled and gives the best hugs and kisses.

Caiden is doing great at his daycare and they are learning things such as cause and effect with toys and do all sorts of fun stuff.  He doesn't want to leave there when we pick him up he loves it so much.  They all love him there also.  We are really blessed to have such a great place.

Every evening when we get home from work we play together and have dinner together.  It is so much fun.  Caiden will go to his book basket and grab a book and sit while you read it to him.  He loves his books.  Which is great and thanks to Mommy if I do say so myself.  I read to him all the time.

Caiden is such a blessing and we hope you enjoy the pictures also.
Love to you all and tons of blessings!
Stephanie, Colin and sweet Caiden. :)

More and more changes every day with Caiden. It is incredible! We are on to the third solid food (besides cereal). The first was sweet potatoes, the second was green peas and the third that we are on now is pears. It takes him some getting used to each; however he always LOVES his cereal and looks forward to it. He eats that twice a day. He is still on breast milk and also a little formula now. He is doing great!

He has definitely said his first word. He will mimic your mouth for the word....yep you guessed it, "Da-Da"! It is so cute and of course Colin loves that! He is rolling all over now and ready to explore the world. He can scoot backwards and crawl around in a 360 circle to get what he wants. He definitely has a personality. He is such a joy! We are truly blessed!

Blessings and love to all!

Caiden is amazing! He is 6 months old now and we are embarking on some very important milestones. He was able to sit up a few weeks ago almost by himself all the time and now we just sit a pillow behind him and he does great. He also started cereal about 1 week ago at night time before bed. He eats it in his high chair which he loves to sit up high in. He is starting to make more sounds like da and ga and ba. He laughs a lot and smiles a lot and is so wonderful! His rash is completely gone and his cold is thank God gone. He is doing great. We go back to the Dr. for his 6 month old check-up and shots on Tuesday.

He as of this past week is rolling over all the time! He wants to roll over when you are holding him even. He is so active and cuddly. He loves to give hugs and kisses (Actually he is trying to bite your face because he is starting to teeth now too). Either way he is a doll!

Enjoy the pictures! He is moving around so much we anticipate that he will be crawling soon. All in his own time though. His daycare is going great! They are wonderful to him and we love it there with his care givers Shirley and Debbie.

We hope you are all doing well and enjoying life as we are! Love to you all and lots of blessings!

Caiden is SO much fun! He is growing so fast. They said that they grow up fast and they were all right. He has discovered his toes and feet more than just recognizing them but loves to play with them and put them in his mouth and talk to them. He gets to happy to see them when his socks are off. We have so much fun stacking up his round blocks and then Caiden knocks them over. We love to dance with Mommy and Daddy in the living room to all kinds of music. We love to play peek-a-boo more than anything. You are for sure to get a huge grin out of him with that game. Caiden is such a good baby we are so blessed. He starts going to his new day care a little bit next week and we hope that that transition goes well. We are praying that it will be a good fit for him and for his caregivers. What an amazing blessing!

Happy New Year!  We are into our second week of the new year and things are going well.  Caiden is growing and learning so much every day it is hard to keep up with all of his interests.  (Not that hard actually and very very fun!)  His latest tricks involve putting his toes in his mouth, he loves doing mini push ups when he is on his tummy and he loves to jump up and down with a huge smile on his face in his jumper.  He is grabbing onto everything and puts everything in his mouth.  Mommy does a lot of washing things off all the time.  :)  Caiden just turned 5 months last week and is growing like a weed and wearing nearly all 12 months clothes.  He is very close to sitting up by himself and when he turns 6 months (which is soon) we will be introducing food, cereal, etc. to him.  He has only had breast milk so far.  Thankfully that is going well.

We are looking forward to this year and thank God every day for our blessing.  He is so amazing and has to be the biggest gift one could ever receive in life.  We hope you are all doing well and will keep the pictures coming.  Please remember to sign the guest book so that we know you are enjoying the updates.

Happy New Year!
Love,
Colin, Stephanie and Caiden :)

Tis the Season! Our neighbor friend that takes care of Caiden caught a very cute shot of him in a Santa hat- too cute.  Things are going very well this chilly December.  Caiden is sleeping in his big boy crib and Mommy and Daddy are adjusting much better now. (Ok-Mommy is doing much better)  Caiden is so strong and wants to sit up and look around all the time.  He would prefer to be awake it seems 24 hours a day because he doesn't want to miss a thing.  He is talking all the time and smiling so beautifully.  He enjoys tummy time more and more as his arms get stronger.  We put him into a jumperoo that our great friends let us borrow and he loves it.  He bounces up and down when he tightens his legs.  He is such a joy and a blessing.  We are looking forward to the 23rd of December which will be Caiden's Dedication at our church.  We are also excited to celebrate our first Christmas with our little one. Have a great and Merry Christmas everyone!

Our trip to Florida was great.  Caiden was a little sick still but made it through all of the family kisses and changes in weather great.  Everyone was so happy to see him.  He had some huge milestones while in Florida .  He rolled over for the first time from his tummy to his back at Great Gramma Sandy's and also laughed out loud for the first time Saturday, November 24th, at Gramma Sandy when she was talking like Donald Duck.  He loved that!  It was great that Caiden was able to meet Colin's Gramma Shirley and Aunt Pat and her friend Jim.  Gramma Sandy and Tom also enjoyed spending time with Caiden.

Caiden is doing well in his big boy bed (crib) since we have been back.  He goes to bed between 9 and 10 and gets up sometimes at night to feed once but then goes right back to sleep until the morning.  Sometimes he goes all night without getting up for a feeding.  Colin and I are adjusting to Caiden not sleeping in our room.  I of course miss him being next to me in the bassinet, although I know it is best this way for developing good long-term habits.

We are very excited for Caiden's first Christmas.  We can't wait to see family and share in this excitement and Caiden's first Christmas together.  We hope you are all doing great!  Thank you for your love and support for our little one.  Please make sure to sign the guest book so that we know you are still visiting the site. :)

Caiden is doing better with his cold.  He still has congestion with his cough and in his nose, but seems to be a little better.  Please pray that he continues to get better.  We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Love to you all!  We will make sure to post his first Turkey Day pictures in a few days!

I would like to add to Colin's story about our little one being sick.  We came home from church yesterday and had family over because it was the day of Mommy's baptism.  He had been congested for a day or so and Colin suggested we check his fever.  What a good Daddy because it was at 101.8.  His Dr. said to take him in to the ER.  We took him in and they checked him out, he just has a runny/stuffy nose and a bad cough with runny eyes.  Hard to see your little one go through that.

Mommy being "on edge" referred to my throat hurting and on edge of getting sick.  I am going to keep praying that I don't.  I need to take care of my little one and not get sick now.  Prayers for wellness and Caiden feeing better would be great.

Caiden has his first cold.

His Daddy gave it to him and Mommy is "on edge", and we took our first trip to the ER. Everything was/is fine, but hey, we're not taking any chances with this little melonhead. Now all we have to do is vacuum his nose regularly to suck his brains and snot, at least until he's well again.

p.s. Mommy "on edge" refers to her being nervous about Caien's first cold.

Caiden is so amazing! He is smiling and cooing all the time. He really enjoys it when you make direct eye contact with him, he almost always will start smiling and talking then. He loves it when Mommy makes the shape of an 'O' with her mouth. He also loves it when Daddy makes funny sounds with his mouth. Colin heard him laugh this morning while dressing him for the day. Mommy heard him laugh a week or so ago also. We are so blessed. Caiden is so amazing!
