HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKSON!
Our sweet baby boy turned ONE on August 18th! We can't believe he's been with us for a whole year, the time has FLOWN by! We don't know what we ever did without him! We celebrated with two AWESOME parties, one at Pennie and Kim's, and one at home. Both were a good time, and we are blessed to have so many people who love Jackson (and Samantha)! Pictures are in the "Pictures" section! Jackson is thinking about walking, he's cruising on the furniture like mad, and is pushing everything around the house that he can get behind - from his walker to the kitchen chairs to the coffee table! One of these days, when he decides to, he'll just take off! Climbing the stairs is big fun, too, whether anyone is watching or guiding or not! So the baby gates are out in full-force at our house, much to his displeasure! "Don't Fence Me In" could be his theme song! He is loving table food (but still loving "mom-drinks", too), and especially loves beans and rice, avocado, cottage cheese, cheeseburgers, all kinds of fruit, peas and green beans, and all things bread (a carb hound like his momma). He loves to play with his sister (her toys are WAY more fun!), and with Mommy and Daddy - "bonk" on the forehead is his favorite with Daddy, and Peek-a-Boo or Patty Cakes with Mommy! So life is good for all of us, and we are enjoying watching Jackson grow! Check back again for new pics, new stories, and don't forget to sign the guestbook and let us know you stopped by!
