I just realized that it has been a LONG time since I updated this!!! Jayden is doing good! He is quite the perfectionist so that is causing him some trouble at school because they are sounding out words and he is great at it, but he wants to write the words how they are really spelled so he is getting very upset when it's time to write at school! Unfortunately this is an every day thing! I am hoping that the more he practices and sees that he is doing great at sounding them out the less upset he will get!
He is growing too fast and getting too smart! He is doing great in school despite what he thinks! He can sound out words great and writes really good! He has already done everything on his report card for the end of the year except tying his shoes! He is having a really hard time with that, but he will master it soon I'm sure!!
He is still the best brother Camron could ask for. He is very protective of him and when Camron gets in trouble for something Jayden will remind us that "he's just a baby"! That will only work for so long..lol!! They get along great and Jayden plays with him all the time!
Jayden is still doing great in school! He is sounding out words and writing them down and doing some simple math! He loves to learn and I am very thankful for that!! He is a great big brother and Camron loves to copy everything he does! We are very proud of him for everything he is learning at school and how great he does going now without crying! Can you blame the kid for missing me though really?!!! LOL He is looking forward to trick or treating and thinks he is going to be a vampire! He doesn't have much time to decide!!!!
Jayden is officially a Kindergartener!!! He started yesterday and he did GREAT! He was sad and cried a little when we got there, but he stayed there without a fight and was happy the rest of the day! We took him to get ice cream and out to dinenr last night to celebrate him being so brave!!! I was worried that after realizing how long he had to be there, he would have a hard time going today, but when I dropped him off he was laughing and playing and didn't even flinch when I left. I was very proud of him but I don't think a little saddness at leaving his wonderful mother would have been too much to ask...lol!!! This just goes to show that you can never make a mother happy!!!! We are VERY proud of him for doing so good going to school!!!
Jayden is doing great and getting ready for school to start! We are hoping that preschool got him ready and this year will go a little smoother! He says he is excited for it to start and he has his friend Aaliya in his class so that should help!
Jayden had his last t-ball game on Saturday! He got an award for Superstar Batter and he was really excited! We really loved watching him play and get excoited about doing good at something! We are excited for him to do it again next year! We want to thank both grandmas and Amy, Bob and the kids for coming to watch him play! He really liked having you come to watch him and it meant a lot to us as well!!
He is VERY happy to be out of school for the summer and we are hoping to plan some fun trips! I am sure we will be going to the zoo a few times and to the lake swimming! We are plannig on taking him and Kaylee to Chuck E Cheese this weekend.
I put some new pictures of Jayden's t-ball on here and some pictures of him REALLY enjoying a watermelon...lol!!! He is doing wonderful at t-ball and wants to play soccer later in the summer too!!! We are excited that he is coming out of his shell a little and wanting to do more things! He is really great at anything he is willing to try! He had a great 5th birthday party and thanks to everyone who came!! All the kids had a great time!! I must tell everyone that you should all be VERY proud of me too because I did not cry once!!! I still can't beleive that my baby is 5 though!
Jayden had his first t-ball game last Saturday and he did AWESOME!!!!!!!! He was so proud of himself and it was great to see!! He hit the ball and made it to first and was jumping up and down and cheering for himself....it was priceless!!! I am amazed at how far he's come in the last year!! Not even nine months ago he cried every day when I left him at school and was too sh yto do anything and now he is excited to go to school and playing t-ball like a champ!!!
Jayden is officially a tee-ball player!!!!! He has had two practices and his first game is this Saturday the 2nd at 9am at Sunny Side Park!!! He is very excited and can't wait for his game! He was nervous at his first practice and didn't want to do it, but at his second practice he warmed up and had a great time!!! His games are every Saturday except May 23 until June 13! They are all at Sunny Side Park and they are either at 9 or 10:30! They are at 9 on May 2, May 30, and June 6 and at 10:30 on May 9, May 16 and June 13!!! If anyone wants to go to any of his games and needs more info, just let me know!!
We just signed Jayden up for t-ball and he is really excited!!! We went to the store yesterday and got him a bat, ball ,and glove so he can practice at home!!! His games start May 9th and he will have Saturday morning games for six weeks!! He would love to have people come watch him play, so I will let everyone know wheat times when I find out!!!
I haven't updated in awhile, but not a lot has changed with Jayden!! He is still doing great in school! We had his Kindergarden round-up last night and I can't beleive my baby is growing up so fast!!! In less than two months he will be 5 years old...I can't beleive it!!! He amazes me with how smart he is! We still aren't sure where he gets it from...lol! He is working on writing his numbers now and he catches on to everything so fast!! I show him a couple times and before I know it he's doing it himself!!! He is reading short words and is more than ready for Kindergarden!! We are SO proud of him!!! He still spends every minute we allow him too playing the Wii!!!
Jayden is doing great and is getting all grown up right before my eyes!!! He is loving school and couldn't wait to go back from Christmas vacation!! He got a Wii for Christmas and is loving it. He even gets his grandmas to come over and play it!!! Aunt Nancy and Uncle John were here this weekend and played it with him and he loved it!! There is a game where you shoot Army tanks so of course that is his favorite one!!! He is still loving to play with his brother and holds him all the time! He is such a sweet and good boy and we love him more every day!!!
I thought I better write an update on here and let everybody know how we are doing! We decorated our Christmas tree, made Christmas cookies and puppy chow, and played in the snow yesterday and had a great time!!! Jayden and daddy went to pick out the tree and daddy let him pick it out all by himself and he really did get a beautiful tree!!! He was so proud of himself! When we got it all set up and turned all the lights off and turned the tree on, his little face was just glowing.....that is what Christmas is all about!!!
He is LOVING school now and was actually mad last week when it was cancelled two days in a row! He told me that now he didn't get to see his friends. My how fast they grow up. I can't beleive my baby has friends!!! I am so glad that he loves school now though. The first few weeks were rough!!!

We had Jaydens first parent teacher conference yesterday. I can't beleive how fast they grow up!! We could not be more proud of him!! He got an "S" on everything which means he can do it and he knows more letter sounds than anyone else in his class!!! He is just so darn smart (not sure where he gets it!!!) I took him out to lunch and let him pick out a toy for doing so good in school!!! His teacher also said that he is doing a lot better playing with the other kids than he was at the beginning of the year, which was one of my worries. I didn't want him to be the weird creepy kid who plays by himself all the time....and he's not!!!! So all in all he is doing great and we are so proud of him. I am however still very sad that he is old enough to have a conference in the first place. He's still my baby!!!!!
I put up some new pictures for you all to look at. He is sure growing up fast. There are some pictures of his field trip. Most of them have his friend Aaliyah in them because you couldn't seperate the two of them all day. If you call her his girlfriend he reacts like a typical man and says "she's just my friend". Haven't we all heard that before!!!! They are cute together though!
He is still loving being a big brother! The picture of him giving Camron a bath shows how much he like to help me take care of him. He makes Camron smile all day long just by being in his site!! I hope thy comtinue to love each other this much their whole lives!
Jayden is doing great in school and even has an adorable little girlfriend!!! They are so darm cute together! If he gets to school and she's not there yet, I try to wait until she gets there because then he doesn't care that I'm leaving. Very cute now, but in a few years I will want to kill the girl that has that effect on him!!!! He went on his first feild trip last Thursday to Papa's Pinpkin Patch! We had a really good time and I have lots of pictures that I will have to get on here! He got to go on a hay ride and pick his own pumpkin. They have a lot of toys there to play on and we got a donut and cider! It was a lot of fun! He is still just totally in love with his little brother and plays with him all day long! He is the best big brother Camron could have asked for!
Sorry it has taken me awhile to update this, but I have been a little busy as you can imagine!!! Jayden started school on the 2nd and it was a rough go at first. He was "that child"!!! The one who screams and cries and trys to run out of the room after his parents!!! It was heart breaking and made both of us want to take him home and forget about preschool, but we were all strong and now he loves it!!! In fact when I dropped him off last Thursday he said I didn't need to watch him and I could just go and then of course that broke my heart too!!! You just can't win with me as your mother!!!! He is doing great at school and we are so proud of him!!
He is still a great big brother and we haven't had any jealousy issues with him like we thought we might. The only problem we have had is him trying to wake Camron up because he wants to snuggle him!! NEVER WAKE A SLEEPING BABY!!!!!! He is very helpful and does a lot for us to take care of Camron.
All in all we are just so proud of the great little preschooler he has become and we couldn't ask for a better little boy!!!
Jayden has been a great help since we brought Camron home! He loves to snuggle and feed him and of course he loves to get things for mommy and daddy who are tired and don't want to get up..lol!!! He has adjusted great to having a little brother and acts like he has always been here!!! We are so proud of him!!!!
Jayden is getting very excited for his little brother to get here and even more excited for his daddy to come home in three days!!!!! He had his four year check up yesterday and he is growing like a weed!!! He weighs 51 pounds and is 43 inches tall. He is in the 75th percentile for both height and weight! Big boy!! He had a vision test that he did good on and they said he is very healthy!!! He did however have to get 5 shots and was not at all happy about that. He cried and said "this is the worst day ever!!!", but he was very brave and once he was actually getting the shots stopped crying and said they didn't even hurt!!! He cried for his daddy so we called him when he was done and daddy made him feel better!!! He is growing up to fast, but he is a great kid. He has been being very nice to mommy while she relaxes and tries to keep Camron in her belly for a few more days. He always brings me waters and does lots of things for himself so I can just relax. He is more than I could ever have asked for in a son and I love him more each day!!!
I had to do an update already to tell everybody what a sweet boy we have!!! We say our prayer every night and Jayden prays for whoever he wants and then if there is something he wants to pray for he prays for that too. Last night he prayed for everybody he wanted to and then said he was done so we were snuggling in his bed for a little bit before I left and he went to sleep. He sat up and asked if he could pary for one more thing, so I said of course he could. He looked up at his ceiling and said "I pray that you will please keep my brother in mommy's belly so that daddy can be here when he comes out. Thank you very much. Amen". He is the absolute sweetest things I have ever seen. Now lets' just hope that prayer is answered!!!
Jayden got to do his first job as a big brother today!!! Daddy let him choose the baby's name which is pretty important since we have been struggling with this for months! He did a great job and was SO happy to get to name him. He named him Camron Nathan!!! So now we can finally stop calling him "the baby"!!!! We are so proud of Jayden for his first great job as a big brother and he is happy to have gotten the job!! I am sure it's the first of many great big brotherly things to come!!!
