Jay came into the world 13 days early, on Sunday, December, 17, 2006. I started having contractions Saturday night, but they weren't regular. Sunday morning, I woke up in a lot of pain. I called the nurse, but she kept me on hold too long, and by that time, I knew it was the real thing. We left and went to the hospital, where I labored for about 5 hours. I pushed for 40 minutes, then Jay made his grand entrance at 4:37pm.
Welcome to the world, Jaylen! It's a better place now that you're here!
New video of Jaylen talking to his daddy:
Jaylen is a joy. He is such a sweet little boy, and he already has his own little personality. He enjoys eating, sleeping, and watching his big sister, who he LOVES. Of course, he's also in love with Mommy and Daddy.

He's getting fatter though! ...continue story
