Hi Abi Rose, I was just going to look at the latest pictures this morning and got absorbed in reading your stories. Looked at the clock and it was almost 2 hours later because you allowed me to enter your world right now and for a short time, I was back when you and your brother Abe were small almost 26 years ago. As I look back, as I often do, but you allowed me to do so in an unusual way, I realized once again that I made the right choice oh so many years ago. I chose to be a mother to you and your brother when it would have been easier in some ways to leave you with a babysitter and join the ranks of bringing home an extra paycheck. And you know how bare bones it was for us. Your clothes were hand-me-downs, garage sale and occasional discount store. But we had a lot of love. Praise God for the wonderful parents you are to the grands! I could have e-mailed you with this and kept it private. Hoping it may encourage someone else to not miss anything in your little seemingly insignicficant day. Abi you are teaching Jeb and Evie to love God and others and make a difference in this world. I can see love in their eyes. Someday they will experience disappointment, but the love will always be behind it to brighten the way and you and Jon will say, we did the best we could with God's grace and strength-then let them go to find the way you pointed them to go in.
