11/6/08 We have a new cat (again) We're not quite sure what happened to Fireball, We think someone found him outside and took him in, at least that's what we hope,. He was lost during a storm a while back.

Our newest cat (and hopefully last) is named Pumpkin, no, Anthony, no, Emma. Emma is the name we are now using after many name changes by JJ... We thought the cutest was Anthony. She's a girl... We love her new name... and hope Our friend Emma likes it too!

9/25/08 Happy 5th Birthday JJ!!!

9/7/08 Today we went to the Air Show, and we had so much fun. We toured all kinds of military aircrafts, and it was great. JJ had so much fun. Brian liked watching all the planes.

8/18/08 We took our first trip to Six Flags! We went with Auntie Mary Jane and James. Mommy and James went on the Superman and Batman rides, Daddy and JJ went on the Catwoman one, and the kids went on lots of kids rides. They had a lot of fun, it was a long day in the sun.

The boys are doing great, JJ is having a fun summer at home, waiting for school to start. Brian is getting so big, and wants to do everything like a big boy. Needless to say there is a constant mess around him!!

7/12/08 The boys are having a fun summer. We had a fun 4th of July cookout with the Sutters as always, JJ and Brian are having fun playing outside together, and Brian is really becoming his own person speaking up when he likes or doesn't like something. We're planning a camping trip soon, that should be fun and interesting with the boys. Thanks for visiting!!

6/30/08 We took Brian for his check up, and he grew an amazing 3 1/4 inches in just 5 months!! It's crazy how tall he's gotten in such a short time. He's talking a lot now too, it's so cute. We have 2 little men taking over the house now!!

JJ is learning to ride his bike and is begging us to take off the "steering wheels" which is what he calls training wheels. We don't think he's ready yet, but if he keeps begging we might give it a try. All he ever wants to do is ride his bike.

6/17/08 Happy Birthday Uncle Nick!!

The boys are doing great. JJ is getting so tall it's unbelievable. He still really loves transformers, but now he likes writing his letters more than anything else. And playing outside of course. He loves when Brian plays with him. The cutest thing is to see JJ put a bike helmet on Brian to ride his tricycle.

Brian is talking now, he talks a lot. He's always talking about eating, outside, his feet, his bum bum (which he gets from JJ of course thinking it's the funniest thing), Spongebob, Thomas (which he calls choo choo) and Blue's Clues. He absolutely loves Blue's Clues.

For the most part they get along really well, Brian tries to do everything just like his brother, and they seem to like pretty much the same things most of the time. He loves going in JJ's room to play with the big boy workbench and train table. At the dinner table it's funny to see them talking, and Brian copying all the silly sounds JJ makes. They are really funny and cute together.

3/27/08 Brian is finally walking!!!

3/9/08 Brian takes 2 steps at a time now, slowly but surely he's catching on the this walking thing.

3-2-08 Brian took his first step today!! Hopefully he'll start trying harder soon to walk all the time!!

We got a kitten today too... JJ named him Fireball. He is very cute, and very sweet.

3/1/08 The boys are getting big, Brian isn't walking yet, but he's trying, well not really on his own, but he's being lazy. He'll walk holding hands and with walker toys. If you try to get him to walk he gives you a big silly smile and gets on his hands and knees. He IS trying to talk. He says yes and no at appropriate times, and he repeats things all the time. He's figuring out how to use a fork to eat too, he thinks it's funny to get things to stay on there!

JJ went sledding for the first time, and he loved it! He's been bowling a couple of times too, and Mommy's afraid to join them, because she doesn't want to lose to a 4 year old!! He is not through the transformer stage yet... will it ever be over?

They are getting along very well together. JJ is very protective of Brian, and Brian is fascinated with JJ, and all of JJ's things, which he doesn't always love, but is usually pretty good about. We love watching them grow together, and how their relationship changes every day.

12/25/07 It's the year of the Transformer!! Merry Christmas everyone!

12/4/07 Everyone is getting excited for Christmas, we got our tree up on Friday, and it is the biggest one we've ever had. The boys love it.

JJ went through all his things the other day, and we were so proud the amount of toys and things he was able to part with. He is getting so big, it really is unbelievable what happens in just a few short years. His favorite things now are still superheroes, and now transformers... And this is the first year he's started to get in to all the Christmas specials...

Brian is really more into eating than anything else at this point. He is trying to walk a bit, but he still can't stand up on his own as hard as he tries, so the walking ends up being on his hands and feet. It's really cute... He is saying a few words too. He gets excited over the littlest things. He's smiling most of the time.

10/27/07 Brian now pulls up and walks with the help of furniture. He's really starting to get into everything now!! JJ loves and hates it!!

10/26/07 Happy Birthday Brian!! We can't believe it's already been a year!! Unfortunately on his birthday someone had left the camera on, and we couldn't get any cake pictures... We'll have lots from the party though!!

10/16/07 Brian has 5 teeth now!! He is also pulling up to standing by the furniture, and can crawl all the way up the stairs. He sits in a booster with us at the table now, it's really nice to sit around the table together...

JJ is being his usual overprotective self and he now picks Brian up and tries to bring him to you if he thinks he is going to get hurt ( or if he just doesn't want him to do something). He doesn't understand that just because he can pick him up doesn't mean he should be moving him around everywhere. He thinks being 4 means he's an adult now. He gets so frustrated when he can't do something. He's been trying to grow up too fast since he was born...

9/26/07 JJ's 4!! We had a nice big superhero party for him, which he loved. He loves all his new things. Next Brian turns 1. Daddy wanted to dress up as the same thing as JJ, But it seems they don't make suits that big...

The pants were way too small!! What a good daddy for trying!

Brian has more teeth finally pushing through, and he is doing great crawling and getting into everything. He is trying really hard to stand up now. We thank everyone who was at the party, and hope to see everyone soon for Brians!

9/11/07 Brian is crawling!!! And getting into everthing! Now that he is on the move, JJ is very concerned with him being upstairs. He will go as far as lying down on him if he doesn't think you're close enough to him. No matter how many times we tell him that we won't let anything happen to him, he's always closing the doors or telling us that we need to hold him because he can't hold him. It is just so sweet the concern he shows for his baby brother.

JJ is also getting very creative. He's been spending almost all his time drawing and coloring, and he's been asking us all the time to do his letters with him. It's great that's he's getting so interested in writing, but we feel bad because he is way too hard on himself when he can't write or draw something well.

He's also been riding his big boy bike a lot, and he is doing great. When he does take a spill, he laughs and gets right back on. He is getting to be such a good big boy.

We'll be (unbelievably) celebrating JJ's 4th birthday soon, and Brian's 1st soon after.. This is going by so fast!!!
