Family

Grace-Turned 5 on June 2nd and is so excited about being "five years old"!  This summer she is the busiest one in the household and is taking us all along for the ride.  She finshed up her first year of ballet in May and still hopes to be a "Princess Ballerina" when she grows up.   She started the summer off with her birthday and we had a Princess & Pirates Party that was a lot of fun.  She got a trampoline for her birthday and it has been a blast for everyone (including mommy).  Grace is finshing  playing T-ball this week and has had so much fun despite being one of the only girls.  She has been taking swim lessons all summer and I am amazed with her progress, she is a little fish.  It still makes Mommy a little nervous to watch her take off swimming, but I am getting better.  We are also learning to read this summer and practicing writing all our number, letters, and small words.  She will be all set for Kindergarden in the fall......Yikes when did she get so big!

Drew-is almost 3.5 and is ALL BOY!  I always joke he has a mind of his own and is not afraid to use it.  He is introducing us to the boy-world of dirt, bugs, & lots of questions.  Drew and Grace are still the best of friends and I am so grateful!  They still fight some and it is usually Drew egging on his big sister.  Drew is an adventurous little boy and has a great sense of humor, he is a lot of fun to have around.  He finshed his first year of preschool and really loved it.  Next fall he will go 3 days a week, we will see how he does without his big sis there. Drew is on cloud nine because he just got a "big boy race bike" and he loves it.  He can now keep up with Grace.  Drew is also learning how to swim this summer (mommy decided this is the summer for learning to swim) he is doing great and he has no fear!

Sam-is 11 months today (7/2) I can't believe he is almost a year.  Time flies even faster the more children you have....I am just sure of it!  Sam is our happy little boy with the big eyes.  He stops people at resturants and grocery store just by smiling at them....he is our little sweetie.  Sam adores his big brother and sister (the feeling it mutual) he follows them everywhere.  Drew now keeps his legos and cars on the kitchen table so that "Sam can't get them".  Sam is pulling up on everything but his favorite mode of transportation is the army crawl......it is too cute.  He is a great napper and sleeper...finally.  Sam is easy going, loves swimming, and being on the go.

Mommy- I won't tell you how old I am:-)  I am just amazed how time flies with kids it seems like yesterday Grace was turning 1.  I am loving the summer and having everyone home it has been so much fun.  I am going to be sad when school starts.  I am staying home full-time now and it has been the best decision we have made.  I wish I could say I have been doing lots of fun activities like scrapbooking, reading, jewerly making , but truth is I keep saying I will and don't get around to it.(at least I finally got our website back up and going)  What I do make time for is working out (it keeps Norman and I sane), I have been having fun cooking new reciepes for the family, and just running my kids around to all their activities.  I wouldn't change it, I love it!  Andrew and I did get away for his b-day and mother's day just the 2 of us, it was so nice.  It was great to have time together, we need to do it more often.  If there are any volunteer weekend babysitters let us know:-)

Daddy-Is very busy with his job at Moltz construction.  He is more relaxed and enjoying his weekends now that he finished building/selling the house.  Andrew has been taking the kids fishing about every weekend this summer.....the kids love it.  He has also been cutting firewood and visiting the gun range when he can.  The kids live for daddy to get home and don't give him a moments rest, they constantly want him to wrestle or play monster.  This summer we have plans to take the kids hiking, camping, and fishing.  We just got back from a trip to Kansas City to Great Wolf Lodge and WaterPark.....it was so much fun (the kids almost had as much fun as mommy and daddy did going down the water slides).  Andrew loves every minute he gets to spend with his kids, they do too!
