Kaitlyn sure has been busy! On Tuesday, Nana and Papa took her to a requested casting for Le Top. I was told she was very good and looked super cute in the puppy dog outfit she was asked to wear. They shoot at the end of the month, so we should know soon if she got the job or not. She had fun and played with her old Mervyn's friends!
I should literally receive her Baby Couture Magazine any day at all. The Summer issue has already hit news stands (it's a new magazine and we haven't seen it here yet :( ) and we're just waiting for it to show up in our mail box.
Kaitlyn had a lot of fun when she came to see me yesterday. She loves to go on my wheelchair ride with me. She likes for Daddy to push faster and tell him which way to turn and where to go. She really liked the Virgin Mary statue outside and loved all the pink roses. The trip ended as it normally does, in the cafeteria with Kaitlyn enjoying some chips and water.
Yesterday, before coming here, the car next to Nana and Papa's hit a poor puppy. Kaitlyn saw the whole thing. Papa tried to see if it could be saved but unfortunately he couldn't. Kaitlyn was very sad to tell me "Puppy dead, Kaitlyn's sad" with the saddest look on her face. She made sure to tell daddy too. When she thought he wasn't paying attention, she grabbed his cheeks with her precious little hands and looked deep into his eyes to tell him about the "sad dead puppy" over and over.
Today, I got to see Kaitlyn again. She was happy and loved playing with her puzzles. She is getting so tall and so smart! She is really excited to go to school. Tomorrow Daddy will take her to school for all of her final exams and paperwork. I know she's going to have so much fun. On Saturday Grandma is going to take her to get her "Starting School" big girl pictures!
Grandma and I have been working very hard on getting things ready for Kaitlyn's birthday party. Kaitlyn is going to have a carnival party with Dumbo! Today we booked the ponies, yay!! I know Kaitlyn's going to have a blast, we might even get Uncle Davey to dress up as a clown since he's so good at balloon animals! Kaitlyn's favorite I think is the snake. This is going to be Kaitlyn's best birthday ever and I just can't wait!
Kaitlyn's back from her pageant. I've been told that she did really good and blew kisses, waved, did "sprinkles" and even took a bow at the end. She won best face. My mom and sister both said it was really ghetto this time. And Kaitlyn was the only one in a 1 piece bathing suit (I'm not a huge fan of two pieces at all and have no desire to put Kaitlyn in one) and many of the kids had hair pieces and make-up on.
It's extremely unlikely we'll do this pageant again, but I'm really glad that Kaitlyn had fun and when I get the pictures back I'll gladly update with them.
Be sure to wish Kaitlyn luck today! She in on her way to the Sacramento Hawaiian Tropic Swimsuit pageant! As soon as I hear from Grandma, I'll be happy to update :)
Also, Kaitlyn has a go-see for Le Top on Tuesday, keep your fingers crossed for the princess!
Kaitlyn has been so busy! On Tuesday night, she went to the fair with Nana, Papa, Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis and Camaryn and had a lot of fun. I hear she rode the roller coaster over and over.
On Wednesday she went to Grandma's for the Fourth of July and for Grandma's birthday! She got to play with sparklers, walk Zoey and go swimming with Auntie Sammie. Kaitlyn even watched Daddy, Grandpa and Uncle Scotty set off fireworks!
On Thursday, Kaitlyn went to Daddy's softball game and played and played in the hot sun! Then today, Kaitlyn went to Speech Therapy and told me she had a lot of fun. She left here to go to Aunt Beth and Uncle Paul's surprise Anniversary Dinner.
On Sunday, Kaitlyn has her swimsuit pageant! Be sure to cross your fingers for her! Kaitlyn also has a casting call for Le Top on Tuesday so don't uncross those fingers too soon!
Have a great weekend everyone and stay out of the heat!
Kaitlyn's back from he doctor's appointment. She has a viral infection and was a very good girl for the doctor. She should be better soon and no longer contagious by tomorrow.
First, Kaitlyn would like to wish Grandma a very happy Birthday!!
Yesterday, Kaitlyn started to not feel so good. :( She had a high temperature and had no desire to take any medicine to make it feel better. She was happiest running her snotty nose on Daddy's to give him Eskimo kisses.
This morning, Kaitlyn still isn't feeling better. She stayed up all night and the inside of her mouth is really red with white puss packets in it. So, she's going to see Dr. Kono today. Hopefully it's just a viral infection and not Strep throat. Poor Baby!!
Kaitlyn just left here very excited to tell me all about the birthday party she went to! Kaitlyn said she had a blast playing at Dominick's first birthday and really enjoyed the pool and all the Nemo fun stuff. They took lots of pictures for me, which I uploaded (with the help of the awesome gift Auntie Christina got me for my birthday!)
Kaitlyn had a good week. She told me she played a lot with Camaryn and promised she was nice to her.
On Thursday, Auntie Sammie and Uncle Davey showed up for a surprise visit and eagerly took Kaitlyn to Chuck E. Cheese. She made sure to run both of them ragged at her very favorite place!
After the fun lunch, she napped and then went with Nana to Daddy and Papa's softball game! I hear she was a really good cheerleader and did everything she could to help Daddy win!!
On Friday, Kaitlyn had speech therapy. You can really tell how much improvement she's making and how much she is enunciating her speech.
Kaitlyn has been on the run non-stop these past 4 weeks! You can tell she's having so much fun! I'm sure when I get home she's definatly going to be ready for a nice long rest!
Thursday night, she helped celebrate Auntie Christy's birthday by going to the Placer County fair with Auntie Christy, Nana, Daddy, Auntie Jamie and Uncle Joel. I hear she had a great time listening to the live band, riding the slide over and over and over again and going on a ton of rides! Daddy told me she was such a good girl and Kaitlyn said she had a lot of fun and wanted more rides!
On Friday, Kaitlyn visited me and had speech therapy. She then visited me and daddy again before she went to Grandma's house for some rest before her big fishing day.
Saturday morning, Kaitlyn got to go fishing on the river in Grandpa's big boat. Within moments, she threw her "floatable" Sponge Bob fishing pole in the river. It did not float and grandpa couldn't save it. Kaitlyn decided that the pole went to Sponge Bob's house and she wanted a Shrek pole anyways.
After a couple hours on the boat, Kaitlyn took a really good nap before coming to see me. After, she gave grandpa her shopping list which included plants for her house, a new pole and toys. How could he say no?
Kaitlyn helped plant yellow flowers and bushes in front of her house.
On Sunday, Grandma and Auntie Christina took Kaitlyn to have her pictures done for her pageant. They are SO cute!
Sunday afternoon Kaitlyn came and brought mommy some birthday flowers, balloons and presents. What she really wanted was cake! And really, all she wanted off of that were the icing flowers :)
I'm sure there are many pictures out there of Kaitlyn's fun filled weekend! As soon as I get them I promise to upload them :)
Kaitlyn would like to wish all of the special daddy's in her life a very happy Father's Day!!
Kaitlyn loves her daddy very much and I know she is going to be very excited to give him his father's day present. Kaitlyn wants to be sure Daddy, Grandpa, Papa, Uncle Dennis and all of the other amazing Daddy's in her life have the bestest day possible!
Kaitlyn has had a busy week and a busy weekend to follow it up with. On Friday Kaitlyn had speech therapy and I've been told that Miss Pam said she was excellent. I got to see Kaitlyn for an hour or so before she went to Speech therapy and she was just talking up a storm!
I saw Kaitlyn again Friday night (yay!) before she headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the weekend! Kaitlyn told me she went shopping Saturday morning and got new toys!
After her shopping trip she went to Aunt Beth and Uncle Paul's house for a little while for Cousin Felecia's birthday party! I hear she had a lot of fun playing with play-doh and watching the fish get fed.
From Aunt Beth's house they headed here to see me :) They hit a lot of traffic so Kaitlyn wasn't too eager to wake up when she got here. That is until my spoiled princess heard Grandpa say the magic words "Chuck E. Cheese" and then she was up and happy! I think she might have Grandpa wrapped around her little finger!
Today Kaitlyn is going to have a lot of fun. She's at Grandma and Grandpa's house where she can play and eat and have fun. At around 11, Daddy is going to pick her up to celebrate Father's day with him, Papa, Nana, Uncle Dennis, Aunt Christy, and Camaryn. Then, Daddy is going to Grandma and Grandpa's for a Father's Day BBQ before they come back to the hospital to see me before bed time.
Kaitlyn is an amazing little girl. I am so happy that she is surrounded by family that loves her and respects her.
First, Kaitlyn would like to wish Cousin Felecia a very Happy Birthday!
Kaitlyn had a lot of fun today. She came and told me all about her trip to Chuck E. Cheese with Nana, Auntie Christy and Camaryn. She even ate 3 whole pieces of pizza! That's Daddy's Princess!
This evening she went to see Daddy play baseball. Daddy said she was such a good girl and had a lot of fun playing at the playground!
I got to see Kaitlyn last night where she ran around like crazy before laying down with me for a little while. Then, she came by again this afternoon with Camaryn. Both girls got to see the 2 new babies born today. Kaitlyn is getting so big so fast!
Kaitlyn woke up this morning with a touch of the stomach flu. She threw up a couple of times, but that didn't stop her from heading out and supporting the work of the SPCA!
Grandma took Kaitlyn to walk the 2K walk. I've been told she was a very good girl! She walked with Grandma, Nana, Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis and Camaryn.
After the walk, Kaitlyn went to Grandma and Grandpa's where she helped Grandpa "clean the grass" and had a ton of fun playing with the hose.
Kaitlyn came by to visit after lunch, before her nap. She was one active little girl! She had my head spinning with how much running she was doing. She went back to Grandma and Grandpa's to nap and play some more. Soon she brought me Olive Garden for dinner. She was such a good eater. She's gotten very good at twirling her pasta on her fork!
Kaitlyn loves watching herself on video, and I had my camcorder, so we watched videos of her at Chucke E. Cheese! She looked very tired when she left!
