Kaitlyn had such a fun day yesterday!  She got to go to the zoo for the first time ever!  The two of us went with Auntie Christy and Cousin Cami to the zoo.  They got to see all the animals and explore the playground in the luxury of the deluxe red wagon.  They were the envy of all the zoo goers.  They enjoyed a yummy lunch at the Zoo Cafe and then looked at more animals.  Cami loved the Monkey's best and Kaitlyn loved the tiger.  She kept saying Hi Kitty and motioning it to come closer.

After that, we came home.  Kaitlyn got to relax and watch some Sesame Street until Daddy came home.  When he did, she got all dressed again and we piled in the car with Archie and headed to the park.  There she got to play catch with Archie and Daddy.  Both Kaitlyn and Archie were exhausted.  Daddy, Papa, and Uncle Dennis got some good softball practice in!  Tonight Daddy and Papa play the first game of the season.  It should be a lot of fun.  Cami seemed to enjoy the park as well.  She loved to clap for her daddy and discover all the fun things the park has to offer.

The, it was to Nana and Papa's for some KFC.  Kaitlyn really enjoyed her banana and corn on the cob.  She decided Archie could have her mashed potatoes and cole slaw.

Today, we are going to spend most of the day at home.  Kaitlyn was up most of the night with her larynigitis.  We are going to call the doctor about a rash she's developed on her face and her being sick.

Below are a lot of fun pictures of Kaitlyn and Cami today!

Well, Kaitlyn had a trip to the doctor today!  She is up to 25 pounds!  She does, unfortunately, have laryngitis and the end of a stomach flu.  She gets tylenol or motrin for pain and to eat nice cold yogurt, bananas and mashed potatoes so it doesn't hurt so much to swallow.  Poor little girl!

Happy Easter!

Has most everyone knows, yesterday was Easter!

We had such a wonderful day. Kaitlyn has a bit of a cold, but that certainly didn't hinder her from experiancing nearly all Easter has to offer.

The morning started out with normal Sesame Street at 7am (I love InDemand!) while she cuddled with us. At about 7:30, we ventured downstairs and Kaitlyn discovered what the Easter Bunny left her!!

She had a big basket with lots of goodies! Toys, clothes, books, DVDs, shoes, and more toys. She loved the plastic jeweled eggs filled with fun! She was so excited, she played with everything. I am sure she won't be the least bit timid when it comes to that generous bunny next year.

That was followed with a nice, big breakfast. Bacon, Eggs, Toast and fried potatoes yummy! Kaitlyn gobbled them all up and then took her nap. At about noon, we grabbed one of the cakes I had made and got in the car for another adventure.

Kaitlyn could no sooner get in the door at Grandma and Grandpa's then when she discovered another Easter Basket. She had even more clothes, toys, and goodies from Grandma and Grandpa. She even got Easter presents from Auntie Christina and Aunt Beth, Uncle Paul and Felecia!!

Kaitlyn enjoyed a nice big ham dinner, played her heart out and enjoyed the time with family. She really enjoyed her baby stroller and new baby doll. She kept giving her baby a bottle and saying yum yum. She also learned how to say Hi Kitty.

Back to the car we went. Kaitlyn fell asleep before we could even get her buckled in! A quick stop at home for the other Bunny cake and Cami's basket and we were off.

We then got to Nana and Papa's house. Kaitlyn sat at the kid's table like such a big kid and ate all of her dinner. She had corn on the cob for the first time and really liked that! She played with Cami and then she wandered around to discover two Easter Baskets for her!

First, she opened her basket from Auntie Christy and enjoyed everything it had to offer. She loved her new Elmo boombox the best so far! There were so many new hair accessories and clothes to enjoy!

Next, Cami and Kaitlyn opened their baskets from Nana and Papa. Kaitlyn opened up a new summer wardrobe complete with shoes! She enjoyed playing with all of her new toys especially the Easter Eggs.

Kaitlyn played with Cami a little longer. She went to bed at 9 a very happy little princess.

Today she is back in San Francisco with her Grandma for a Mervyn's shoot! Yay Kaitlyn.

Thank you to everyone for all of your generous and thoughtful gifts. It's amazing to have so many people that love Kaitlyn as much as we do. Easter was so much fun this year. It's great to have kids around on the holidays!

We took many, many pictures! Click on the picture below to go to Kaitlyn's yahoo album for Easter.

Yesterday was a fun day!  After a morning of shop till you drop shopping, Kaitlyn took a nap and I worked to prepare for that evenings festivities.

We went to our first River Cat's game of the season.  Kaitlyn had a great time with her mommy, daddy, Nana, Papa, Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis, Cousin Cami, Jamie and Joel.  We got to sit in the executive box suit.  One of the perks of being a princess I suppose.

The girls got to stay up way past their bed times but behaved so incredibly well!  If this past week is any indication of what the summer will bring, hold on to your hats it's gonna be a whirl wind adventure!

Today, Kaitlyn rested.  She has a little cold and we want her to be in tip top shape for all of the fun tomorrow will bring!  Kaitlyn got to go grocery shopping and then, after dinner, she got to dye Easter Eggs for the very first time!  This little girl was in heaven!!

She took her egg dying very seriously!

The Easter Basket the Easter Bunny left. You'd be shocked by how much he put in that basket!

After all the eggs were done, she took a peaceful bath and went night night.  The Easter Bunny has already come to leave her all of her goodies and I cannot wait for morning to arrive so she can explore what was left for her!

Yesterday we finally had a break in the weather! Yay!! So, it was easily decided that Christy and I would take Kaitlyn and Cami on their first trip to Fairy Tale Town! The weather was gorgeous. It reached 77 outside with bright sunny skys.

The girls were pushed like Queens into the park, under Humpty Dumpty. They got to see the Tortoise and the Hare. Kaitlyn loved being free of her stroller and running around. she'd run up and down, back and forth. She climbed the tortoise a couple of times, but didn't care for the uneven texture of his back. A little girl approached the tortoise and Kaitlyn ran up to her and said "hi baby" really excited. We had to explain to Kaitlyn that she was a big girl. Cami loved standing and holding on to the big green tortoise as well!

Next we moved to the next adventure. We continued through the town of fairy tales and make-believe playing in Cinderella's coach, climbing her mice's turned to horses, playing with the Billy goats, pigs and donkeys and exploring every aspect of the park. Kaitlyn enjoyed sitting in the tepee and Cami loved watching her cousin and the other big kids play. We went to play on the drawbridge of the castle and then we headed to what quickly became the girl's favorite part.

What princesses wouldn't enjoy the treasure and excitement a pirate ship has to offer. We walked up the bridge and Kaitlyn quickly discovered the wheel, the treasure and the steps she could play with. Cami loved the big steering wheel and the netting she could rope through her fingers. Kaitlyn also enjoyed jumping off of the plank over and over again.

After exploring all of the make-believe the park had, we went to find the ponies. That's right, both Kaitlyn and Cami got to ride the ponies in the park. They both did so good and probably would have done it all day!!

Guess what was next to the ponies! A mini amusement park! Kaitlyn was such a big girl. She rode in the cars all around the big track. She steered her wheel with one hand and mine with another. Thankfully, we didn't crash into anything.

After that we decided to ride the trains. Cami, Christy, Kaitlyn and I all aboard the train that goes through all of the rides. Both girls had so much fun!! After that, they were both really, really tired.

It was such a wonderful and enjoyable way to enjoy a nice summer day.

Yesterday afternoon, Kaitlyn got home from her shoot and we received a call from her agency.  Evidently, Mervyn's was very upset they didn't get to use Kaitlyn yesterday for the shoot.  They wanted her back today for another shoot!!

So, we left at 10:30 AM with Auntie Christy, Nana and Cousin Cami in tow!  One stop at Starbucks and we were at the shoot!

Kaitlyn wore the cutest white dress with purple flowers and took pictures with the gorgeous Secca!  She did amazingly well and was done within the hour!

From there we headed to San Jose to meet with Aunt Barbara.  Unfortunately, we got incredibly lost and after an hour of driving we had two grumpy, hungry kiddos.

The silver streak in the cloud was that we were able to go to the Great Mall and do some shopping!  We are going to have some incredibly beautiful girls this summer after they get their Easter Baskets.

We got home pretty late, but Kaitlyn is going to sleep good tonight!

Kaitlyn left this morning bright and early at 7 am with Nana, Auntie Christy, and Cami to San Francisco. They got there early for her 10:00 AM call time. They met with Nancy (the stage teacher) and got checked in before going to hair and make-up and getting dressed.

Kaitlyn was in such a good mood and such a happy baby, but she really wanted to play with Auntie Christy. No amount of singing could change that. She would go to her dot, play for a moment and then run and show how fast she was.

Eventually, they decided to use the back-up baby. That's ok though, she shouldn't in every ad!

Great news though! Well, I am always saying that Kaitlyn's cousin Cami should be a model, she's so gorgeous! Well, Nancy wanted to use Cami in one of the shots and only asked for a work permit! Of course she doesn't have one, yet! That's right, Cami is going to pursue a modeling career just like her big cousin Kaitlyn! Now there will be 2 models in the family!!

Congrats to both girls!

This morning started out fairly lazy.  Kaitlyn is teething and a bit grumpy so she spent the day playing and resting.

Today she learned how to jump and say jump as she does it, it's too cute, I can't wait to post video of it.  She also learned out to do an actual kissy face (though I will miss her version of a kissy face!) and she learned how to stack 9 blocks!!  The goal is 6 by the age of 2 on a flat surface.  She is 16 months and did 9 on the carpet.  She did it over and over again.  She has learned how to sort colors and shapes and we are so impressed with how smart she is.

Friday night we met the Easter Bunny and Kaitlyn not only wanted nothing to him.  Today we tried again.  She saw him and started frantically waving hi and yelling hi to him.  She kept cutting before other kids to get to him first and when she saw him, she got about 2 feet in front of him and got a little timid.  She sat on his lap, but wasn't sure what to make of it.

Then we went to grandma and grandpa's for some dinner!  It was yummy.  Kaitlyn got to play with Auntie Christina, Auntie Samantha, David, Auntie Beth, Felecia, Uncle Scott, Uncle Paul, Grandma, Grandpa and of course Archie.  She ate all of her dinner like a big girl, and played dress-up and then modeled her clothes.  She came home and promptly went to sleep.

Tomorrow Kaitlyn has a shoot in San Francisco with Mervyn's.  Her nana, Auntie Christy and Cami are taking her for her 10 AM call time.  I'm sure she'll have a blast.  Then, a special photographer will be photographing her in the afternoon.  She has another busy day planned!

Well, Kaitlyn sure did have a busy day today!  Then again, how is that any different from any other day?

Kaitlyn has a new cousin that is exactly one week old.  Her name is Malyia Raqueal and she is gorgeous!  She weighed 9 pounds and 1 ounce and was 21 inches long!  She was a big baby!

Kaitlyn was enamored with her and thought it would be best to try out all of her toys to ensure that they are in good working order.  Kaitlyn gave her kisses, showed us where her eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth, toes and belly button all were.  Then she decided that she wanted to gently give her kisses.  She is so incredibly sweet.

After that Kaitlyn and I went to the mall while her daddy was at school.  We intended on seeing the Easter Bunny to see how he isn't all that big and scary after all, but there was no Easter Bunny today.  So, we went shopping.  Kaitlyn is such a big girl.  She didn't need her stroller or to be held at all.  She held my hand the entire time.  We went to Macy's and Gottchalks, Claire's and the toy store.  The escalators were her favorite part.  She got a new dress with a cute matching hat.  I got some inspiration for a great idea for Easter Pictures, maybe cousin Cami can come over this week and they can do them together again.

We came home and Kaitlyn showed Daddy how good she can jump.  She played with Archie and her babies and then went to bed.  She's getting so big and so smart.

Kaitlyn's second Easter is next Sunday.  We are so excited.  I've been working on baskets for her and Cami courtesy of the Easter Bunny for the last couple of weeks and can't wait to see the look on Kaitlyn's face.  Cami is still to young to understand, but I'm sure she'll love her basket.  We have all of the eye dying sets ready to go so Kaitlyn can show us her skills.  I can't wait for the Easter Egg hunts.  If the weather is nice we'd like to take her to an Easter Egg hunt at Carmichael Park designed for her age group.  She is now up to 3 Easter dresses, so we'll have plenty of pictures I'm sure!  With two sets of loving, doting grandparents that always do too much, loving aunts that love to spoil, and Uncles that adore Kaitlyn I'm almost worried about what Easter will bring.  Kaitlyn still hasn't had time to go through all of her Christmas toys.  Fortunately, they all respect the no candy rule, that or they know it'll be in the bellies of me and Dusty.  Kaitlyn is so young and beautiful there isn't a reason to spoil her now with unneeded candy.  It isn't healthy and since we keep from giving her sugar, she doesn't know that she's missing anything.

Tomorrow will be another fun day.  Weather permitting we are going to go to the zoo with Daddy, Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis and Cami.  It'll be both girl's first trip and sure to be filled with excitement and more pictures.

Kaitlyn has another ad coming out this week, we just aren't sure of which day.  She has another shoot scheduled for Monday which should be fun.

Kaitlyn's agency contacted us on Thursday.  They are stressing the importance of us going to LA with Kaitlyn.  They know she could do a lot of great things there that just aren't available here.  While it is incredibly tempting, keeping it a hobby that Kaitlyn does 1-3 times a week is just fine with us.  Maybe when she's bigger her daddy can fly her.  Being as how Kaitlyn is their biggest talent in her size category, they'd like us to register with an exclusive casting director in San Fran very soon.  I'm looking forward to that and I'm sure Kaitlyn will have a blast!

We hope everyone has a wonderful day!  Look for many more updates in the near future.  Now that all of Dusty's school stuff is taken care of, work is going great and our time is more relaxed there will be plenty of updates with Kaitlyn's growth and development.  Be sure to look for more video in the very near future.

Kaitlyn and Cami went to the mall today to meet the Easter Bunny!

Cami loved the Easter Bunny, Kaitlyn on the other hand was a little intimidated and will have to try again.

Afterwards, they went and had their pictures made. Kaitlyn is wearing her beautiful original vintage Easter dress and Cami is wearing a gorgeous yellow dress adorned with green flowers! Both girls were stunning.

Another week of fun has passed for Kaitlyn! She has been a busy little one this week.

On Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa's where she got to play with two of the sweetest little kids. She also got some great news. She has a new cousin! Maylia was born on Friday and we are going traveling on Saturday to meet the new little princess.

On Monday Kaitlyn got to go for a drive. We went all the way to where Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis and Cami are going to live. She had so much fun running through the huge house. She especially loved the wooden bridge in the atrium going over the pond. She played in the biggest kitchen I've ever seen, met a kitty on the huge wrap around porch, and really wanted to take a bath in Auntie Christy's new sunk in bathtub with jets. I'm sure her and Cami are going to have so many happy memories there. On the way back we had a very late dinner at Applebees. Kaitlyn was so good. She drank all her milk and ate all of her food. She colored and played really good.

Tuesday Kaitlyn got to see her daddy at lunch time. We took him some very important papers in the rain so that he finish enrolling in school. Her daddy is going to be a pilot very shortly. I'm sure she'll love telling everyone of her friends that and taking special rides in helicopters and planes with her daddy. When we got back, she got to have a blast playing in the puddles. She loved to jump in them and get all muddy.

On Wednesday Kaitlyn got some sad news. Her Uncle Ray had to go home. We went out to a big dinner to celebrate his long trip and the time they got to spend together. We were all so proud of Kaitlyn. She shared her spoon with Cami! She ate all of her food without much of a mess. She was a very well behaved little girl! Kaitlyn worked very hard on an album for Uncle Ray so that he could remember all the fun he had with Kaitlyn and Cami. Before he left she gave him a kiss, high five and thumbs up. I am sure she is gong to miss him so we will be sure to visit him soon and often.

Thursday was another fun and busy day. The sun finally came out! We went and saw daddy for lunch again. Then, she got to go and play at the Mechanics while Daddy's car got smogged. She loved playing with the snack machine. She would twirl it and twirl it.

Today the weather is once again beautiful! Kaitlyn just might have a surprise when she wakes up from her nap this afternoon! You'll have to check back then to find out what!

Kaitlyn has officially gained back all of the weight she lost being and staying sick with that darned roto virus and stomach flu. She actually gained a little. She is at 24 1/2 pounds and 32 inches tall with a head circumference of 18 1/4 inches.

She is accomplishing many milestones that many don't reach until they are at least two. She is proficient at walking backwards, walks up and down the stairs using the hand rail (and mommy's hand because I'm not that brave yet), climbs and jumps off of everything, knows how to match colors, how to set up the play station (no joke, she knows where all the wires and cables go and how to plug them in. For never playing she sure is a pro!), how to eat with a fork and spoon, only drinks from a cup or straw and learns something new every day. She is a master at baby gates and nothing can or will contain her!

Another month has come and gone!  Kaitlyn has grown so much!!

She understands so many words these days, I know it'll be any time before she is engaging us in long winded conversations about why the stars are only in the sky at night.

She knows where her belly button, toes, nose, eyes, ears, cheeks, mouth, teeth, and shoes are.  She knows where to find them on Mommy, Daddy, Archie, her baby and in pictures.  She is so incredibly smart.  She loves to do the itsy bitsy spider.  She looks at herself in the mirror or her shadow on the wall and does the song over and over and over and over again.  Often encouraging mommy and daddy to do it too.

She helps get herself dressed and loves to take her clothes on and off.  She can and has put them on by herself, it just takes a rrreeeaaalllyyy long time.  She loves to show you what shoes she wants and hand them to you and put her foot up.  95% of the time, it's the right shoe and the right foot.  I'm in constant amazment of her.

She is really strong!  She likes to stand at the top of the stairs and put her baby in the upstairs stroller.  Then she lifts the stroller over the gate and shoves it down the stairs.  Then, she giggles.  If we let her, she'd do it all day.

She has 4 molars in, they are so big!  She is teething again and in a lot of pain.  Poor little girl.  It's waking her up at night and forcing her to chew on everything again.  I hate teething, I'm sure she does too!

Kaitlyn has become quite the little eater!  She really loves food!  A typical day looks something like this:

Breakfast: 2 waffles and a banana
Snack: Mommy size handful of cheerios or applesauce
Lunch: Veggie (about 1/4 cup of carrots, corn, peas or greenbeans) sandwich (grilled cheese or turkey lately) and either rice or mashed potatoes
Snack: 4-5 multi-grain crackers
Dinner: Whatever we are having, meat veggie, bread and starch
Snack: 1 sugar free kid cookie.

Plus, through in 3 -8 oz glasses of milk and about 2 ounces of juice diluted with 12-14 ounces of water.

She is still only 24 pounds and 32" tall though.  It must be all the stroller throwing and running and climbing keeping her figure down haha.

Kaitlyn is learning to ride her bike.  It's a big girl's tricycle and she loves it.  If she's not on it, she's pushing it.  If she's not pushing it, she playing with the wheels in amazement.

We've added some great new pictures, and she has a really cool blog set up just to read all about her modeling adventures.  The modeling is going great and you can read all about it at: kaitlynreagan.blogspot.com

I hope everyone is enjoying their day!  Don't forget to sign the guestbook and vote!

Kaitlyn has had such a busy week!  She had two shoots with Mervyn's.  One on Monday and one on Thursday.  She did so well for both of them!

Monday we had a play date afterwards with a friend of mine and a childhood mentor.  Adrian's two children Raquel (25 months) and Diego (6 months) were there and Andrea's son Daniel (16 months).  It was a lot of fun.  I think Kaitlyn had a great time!  Daniel was so good at sharing his toys and his goldfish crackers, Diego was so handsome and Raquel was so incredibly smart and helpful for her age.  You can tell she loves her baby brother!

Tuesday was a day or work and play.  Same as Wednesday!  Both kinda days I really enjoy!

Tuesday morning we had a suprise, Danny and Evelyn came by to see the princess!  She was so nice and so anxious to play with them and show off her puppy!

Wednesday night we went to dinner with our friend Chet to Friday's and had a blast!  It was so much fun to go out to eat.  I think him and Dusty were upset that the game wasn't on, but Kaitlyn was in her element!  She loves to have people look at her and talk to her and have conversations with them.  So, she had a blast!  She had Mac and Cheese, Oranges, Bread and a salad for dinner.  She had an itsy bitsy taste of my cheesecake for desert, but didn't seem to like it.  She has gotten so good in resturaunts.

Thursday night we came to work after the shoot for a nap and some play.  Then we went to see Kaitlyn's nana and papa, Auntie Christy and Uncle Ray for a little while.  Kaitlyn was so good at feeding Cami little puffs.  She was a pretty good sharer, that is until they started to run low.  Then she wasn't so into sharing.  She began to get tired and so we went on home for bath time and night time.  She has gotten so good at sleeping in her big girl bed.  You lay her down and she goes right to sleep.

Kaitlyn's daddy got accepted to the flight academy he wanted to attend.  On Monday we get to go and Kaitlyn might get to take a ride in a helicopter!  If not, she'll see her daddy go!  To celebrate we are all going out to eat tomorrow night.

Tonight we are going to Auntie Samantha's candle party.

Kaitlyn has grown so much this week!  We are going to do her measurments for the agency when she gets up, but I wouldn't be suprised if she grew another 1/2 inch.  Her pants are getting short.  I may have to re-hem them since she's too little for 24 month pants.  Thank goodness for summer!  She is also getting really smart.  She LOVES the Itsy Bitsy spider and does all the movements on her own, she is learning new words every couple of days and we can see she's on the verge of her "vocabulary explosion" she babbles your ear off hehe.  Kaitlyn is really interested in pretend play right now, likes to feed her baby, and loves to color.  She prefers markers.  I think it's because she likes to match the colors up and put the right lids back on!  She's also really good with shapes!

Thank you everyone for all of your kind words and support, Kaitlyn is a very loved little girl!
