Kaitlyn had a blast on Wednesday night! We had the wonderful oppurtunity to have an early Christmas!! Nana, Papa, Great Grandma Bobbie, Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis, Camaryn, and Hope all came over to celebrate early!
We had a turkey dinner, and the little ones had the time of their life opening presents. Pictures soon to come! Kaitlyn was given so many great gifts. She received 2 darling outfits that will keep her both warm and fashionable this winter. One outfit even matches with Hope and Camaryn!! She also received Jammies and a doll that matched the special cousins! Kaitlyn had a blast playing with her new toys, like her legos, and stacking blocks and Sesame Street Toy!! She even got a furry purse with her own puppy in it!
It truly was a wonderful night. Kaitlyn loves playing with her cousin Hope and hopefully she will move close soon so they can have many more opportunities to play, and soon Camaryn can join in too! Until then, Uncle Dennis will have to do.
Kaitlyn spent most of this evening in the Emergency Room. She somehow developed a stomach virus of some sort that kept her throwing up most of the day Thursday. She was moderetly-severly dehydrated, but let her go home as long as we promise to wake her every 15 minutes to drink.
Kaitlyn's birthday party was a blast! She definitely turned one in style! A special thank you to Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Christina, Auntie Beth, Felecia, Uncle Paul, Auntie Christy and Uncle Dennis for all of their help getting everything ready! There was a lot of work to be done, and with everyone's help it was fun!
Kaitlyn got so many great presents! She has enough clothes to wear a new outfit everyday for 6 months without washing! She is certainly going to be stylish to say the least! She also got a lot of really cool presents! She doesn't know which to play with first, so instead she plays with them all of the time.
Kaitlyn wasn't too fond of cake at all, she loved the chicken though! And with Uncle Dennis's help, she loved the Jump House as well.
Thank you so much to everyone that came out and celebrated such a joyous day with us. There should be pictures updated by Wednesday.
Sunday the 20th was the first pageant both Kaitlyn and Camaryn participated in! They were both gorgeous! Camaryn had the prettiest dress on with a red velvet top that had pearls in it and a gorgeous white poofy skirt! She had the prettiest white headband on too match! Needless to say, Camaryn won best dressed!!
Kaitlyn looked very pretty as well! She had on a really pretty white dress that had fur trim on the collar and the sleeves and a rhinestone belt buckle. She did so good! She loved the judges, she didn't want to leave the stage at all! She was Infant Miss Holiday Princess! AND, she won most photogenic. She did very good and has soon as the pictures are back in a few weeks they will be posted!

A year has already passed! Kaitlyn will turn one this Thursday, and we will have a HUGE celebration with family and friends on Saturday.
It's amazing how quickly time has passed and how smart she is.
Kaitlyn is already saying a few words. She occasionally says dada, loves to say mama and buh-bye, baby, more and hi.
If you ask Kaitlyn for her "moo" book, she will go and get her animal book that she loves to read.
Kaitlyn loves to mimic everything she sees. She is a little sponge that soaks up so much knowledge we are impressed each and every day.
Kaitlyn is running everywhere. She has been trying lately to put her own shoes on, but isn't quite there yet.
Kaitlyn loves her baby Einstein videos, but doesn't pay attention to the TV if anything else is on. Unless of course she can watch basketball or baseball with daddy.
Kaitlyn has 2 best friends. Her first is Archie. She would follow him to the end of the world and give him hugs if she could. He however, isn't as thrilled with the idea and runs from her as much as he can! She is in love with her cousin Camaryn. She wants to hug her every time she sees her. She loves rocking her in her swing, and sharing her toys with her.
Kaitlyn loves food. As she is getting older she is experiencing new things. We have not introduced sugar and sweets to her yet, and would like to wait another year before we do. She loves peas and carrots, they are her favorite thing to eat. She also enjoys nearly every kind of cheese imaginable, steamed okra, butter beans, broccoli, watermelon, mangos, pineapple, cantaloupe, toast, pasta and she has just discovered and fell in love with Chinese Food. Egg Fou Young seems to be her favorite.
Kaitlyn has been a pure joy to have around. She loves to "luv" those close to her, enjoys her new found freedom now that she is a proficient walker, loves to talk, and is so silly. We are all incredibly blessed to know her and to have her know us.
She is getting so much more brave and daring when it comes to climbing up and over things, standing and being sneaky! Kaitlyn is taking steps every day now. She is getting so brave!
She has taken a total of 5 at one time and usually goes 2-5 before she either realizes she could crawl faster or falls down! It's so much fun to watch! She can push her hungry hippo so fast up and down the hallway! The only time she stops is when it gets stuck!
Kaitlyn has figured out how to open the sliding doors to the bathroom now, and does her best to sneak around. Kaitlyn has a total of 6 teeth and is working on cutting 2 more on top and 2 on bottom. She is being a real trooper! We are all working really hard on her upcoming birthday extravaganza! It will be held on November 19 and is a beautiful princess theme!
Kaitlyn has a new game, she loves to play ET Phone Home.
If you say "ET Phone Home" to Kaitlyn she will point her finger at you. When you touch fingers she will laugh like it is the funniest thing in the world! Her Auntie Christy taught her how to play, and it has quickly become her favorite game!
