Kaitlyn's site is only 63 visits away from having 100,000 visitors!  What an amazing thing to see!  Over the past 4 years, she's averaged 2,000 visits a month!  It means so much to us that she has so much family and so many friends that care so much!!

It's 8:45 PM now.  I wonder if by this time tomorrow she'll have hit the 100,000 mark!

Happy Sunday!

Daddy came home on Friday, much to Kaitlyn's excitement, and we've been relaxing every since!

Friday afternoon, we had a business lunch with Grandma, Auntie Christina, Dorin and I before doing a little bit of shopping and heading home.  Friday night, Daddy got home and Kaitlyn was so excited!

Saturday morning Kaitlyn had dance class and did beautifully!  After, we came home to get Daddy and then headed to Nana and Papa's house for a little while.  Kaitlyn had fun before we headed home to watch the fights with Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Jamie and Uncle Scotty.

Today, Kaitlyn put on her rain jacket, rain boots and headed outside to play for a while.  She made cookies with Auntie Christina, played with her light bright and spent the day relaxing.

Tomorrow promises to be the start of a very busy week!!

You might have noticed some of the guestbook entries are missing. I e-mailed tech support and got the following response:

I'm sorry. There was an error on one of our servers and it looks like the Guestbook comments left after 1/2/2009 are lost. We've recovered as many comments as we could. We've never had a problem like this before and we have taken steps to ensure that we can restore anything that might turn up missing if something like this happens again. If you are using the option to have the Guestbook comments emailed to you, you can forward those emails to me and I can put them back on to your site (don't forget to look in your Deleted Items). Again I am really sorry. Do you know approximately how many comments are missing?

Thanks, Eric

I am truly sorry that they are missing, unfortunately, I don't keep the e-mails so I cannot add them back onto the site :(

Kaitlyn is now up to 5 fish: Daddy Stinky Pants, Sabrina, Dora, Boots and Flower.  And if she had her way, they would eat all day long since evidently that is the best part of having fish :P  She invites everyone she sees over to feed them!

Well, Kaitlyn went back to school yesterday and couldn't be happier!  She hates missing a day, regardless of the holiday!  She's doing great.  She's started dotting the I in her name with hearts.  It's really cute.

After school, Kaitlyn was confined to her room in a battle of wills!  She refused to clean her room and I insisted that she do it!  It ended in a tie before we headed to Auntie Christy's for "taco night" (as Camaryn calls it) with Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis, Camaryn, Nana, Auntie Jamie, Uncle Joel and Baby Carmen.  She was a pretty good girl and LOVEs turkey meat.  Before we left, she told Auntie Beth "I'm going to Auntie Christy's house to have Nachos.  They're better than the just cheese Nachos, they have Turkey!"  And if you've seen Kaitlyn's reaction to anything but plain cheese nachos on a normal basis, you know what a compliment that is!

Kaitlyn is back to school today and so anxious for the rain to start!  She is really excited!  Hopefully she gets the rest of her room cleaned up so she can kick on her rain boots and get to enjoying it :P

When you find a trick for having Kaitlyn clean her room, let me know. Daniel will clean every other room but his own. We know all about battle of the wills. :P

When Uziel camplains about having to clean his room, i just tell him that if he isn't going to pick up his mess that I will get a trash bag a toss every thing on his room floor in the garbage.

It is becoming evident that Kaitlyn is a very spiritual person.  She loves to talk about God and Jesus on a regular basis.

Today at the cemetery, she looked at her daddy and I and said "I don't need to go to Heaven right now, I already know God and Jesus."

It was incredibly sweet and moving.  :)

Can you believe that January is more than half over!  This week has been a lot of fun!  Auntie Sammie came down on Saturday night and stayed until Wednesday morning!

Kaitlyn had a lot of fun at school on Monday and we followed it up with gymnastics!  Kaitlyn did great and was jumping all over the place.  After, we headed to the mall to meet Auntie Sammie and Grandma to look at some wedding dresses at Jessica McClintock.  We did a bit of shopping before we headed home.

Tuesday, Kaitlyn went to school and then we headed to Amador with Gramdna, Auntie Christina, Auntie Sammie and Auntie Jamie.  Kaitlyn had a lot of fun running around and demanding to have her picture taken before we headed home.

On Wednesday, Auntie Sammie had to go home.  Kaitlyn went to school in the morning and then Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Christina, Auntie Sammie, Kaitlyn and I all headed to Mel's diner for some lunch!  After Auntie Sammie went home and Kaitlyn and I got an estimate on my car.

Thursday was another school day, followed by Chick Fil A.  Kaitlyn was having a rough "listening" day, but other than that it was fun.  There were a lot of kids there this time: Camaryn, Kayla, Alexis, Alexus, Blake, Carmen and Dominick!  After that we headed home to rest some after a busy week!

On Friday, Kaitlyn went to school and then we picked up Camaryn and headed to Chuck E. Cheese to meet Kayla, Izzy and Dominick.  We ended up playing for over 4 hours and winning over 1000 tickets, all while eating yummy pizza!  Everyone did so good!    We had dinner at Nana and Papa's house that night and Kaitlyn had even more fun with Camaryn!

Saturday, Kaitlyn had dance class in the morning and had so much fun in her new tutu from Nana.  After Daddy and I went to the mall to get his glasses so that he can have Lasik eye surgery at the end of the month.  Saturday night we had dinner with Dorin for his birthday at Red Robin with everyone!  It was so much fun!!

We're looking forward to a relaxing Sunday.

Kaitlyn is getting so close to reading!  She knows how to spell Kaitlyn, Camaryn, Daddy, Mommy, Zoe, Hope and can recognize so many words.  Her phonics skills are really improving!  We're so excited for her!!

Tomorrow Daddy is going on a week long work trip with Papa.  He'll be all the way in Washington and we sure are going to miss him.  Keep positive thoughts for a safe drive.

Kaitlyn would like to wish her Uncle Craig a Very happy 40th Birthday!!

Happy Sunday!

What a Week, What a Week!

Monday morning Kaitlyn went back to school and was so excited to see all of her friends!  We followed that up with some errands around the area before heading to gymnastics.  Kaitlyn did great at Gymnastics and had a lot of fun with the other 4 year olds.

From Gymnastics we headed to Auntie Christy's house for a little bit before we all headed to the gym.  Then we all tiredly came home to see Daddy!

Tuesday we headed to school yet again for another fun day.  After school Kaitlyn helped me scrub the inside and outside of the van to get it spring ready just a little early, :P.  After we finished, we headed to the Roseville Galleria to shop at the Disney Store where Kaitlyn was too happy to pick out some new prizes.  After the Galleria we went to the gym before heading home.  Kaitlyn had a blast in the play area and I got to have a good work out.

On Wednesday, Kaitlyn had school before we headed to Chick Fil A to meet with Auntie Christy, Camaryn, Auntie Jamie, Carmen, Miss Sarah, Kayla, Dylan, Marilyn, Alexis, Nicole and Dominick for some food and some play.  We made it home in time for Kaitlyn to watch Max and Ruby and us to get some rest in.

Thursday morning, Kaitlyn went to school and after we got all ready to head to Miss Inez's house to do Kaitlyn's pictures for new headshots.  She did amazing (Let me know what pictures you like the best, I'm happy to send them to anyone!) and from there we headed home.  I started to feel sick Thursday night and our week went downhill from there :(

Friday, I was super sick.  Daddy was fantastic and stayed home with me and Kaitlyn until Nana came and picked Kaitlyn up for the day.  Kaitlyn said she had a wonderful day.  She had fun playing with Camaryn and said she was the best girl ever.

Saturday morning Kaitlyn had dance class and had so much fun with her friends Shelby and Claire and made some new friends that added to her class.

The rest of Saturday was mostly resting and hanging out until Auntie Sammie showed up on our door step!

Sunday morning we got up and dressed and headed to Cal Expo to go to the Bridal Expo.  At first, Kaitlyn said she was bored and then she discovered that there was a lot of cake to taste :)  Then she was heaven and had no desire to go home.

The rest of Sunday was spent resting, hitting the cemetery and enjoying Sunday dinner with everyone.

We hope everyone has had an amazing week!  Have fun, Stay Healthy, and Create Memories.

09 feels so weird to write!!

We hope everyone welcomed in the New Year with a lot of fun and a lot of safety!

Kaitlyn spent the night with Nana, Papa and Camaryn while Mommy and Daddy went to Auntie Christy's house. The girls went to the movies and stayed up to watch the ball drop!

New Years Day we went to the cemetery and took Matthew some fresh flowers. We had dinner at Nana and Papa's house with Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis, Camaryn, Dorin, Nicole, Dominick, Auntie Christina and Uncle Brian. It was delicious!

On Friday, Daddy was so sick, Kaitlyn and I stayed home and took care of him! She was very good at making him cards, soup and drinks!

On Saturday, Kaitlyn had an adventure with Grandma and Daddy! She got a new fish named Sabrina to go with Daddy Stinky Pants while Mommy went wine tasting with Auntie Christy.

Sunday brought an adventure to IKEA as well as a trip to the cemetery all before Sunday Dinner!

Today, Kaitlyn goes back to school! She also starts back at Gymnastics!

We have a lot of new videos!

What a busy week we've had!

On Saturday, Daddy gave me my Christmas present!  A Denise day!  YAY!  Kaitlyn stayed with Grandma, helped her move her office, went shopping and watched movies while Daddy and I did some shopping and went to dinner.

On Sunday, Kaitlyn had no desire to leave the pile of toys she got for Christmas and stayed home while Daddy and I went to the cemetery to take down the Christmas decorations, take care of the grass and things like that.

Monday morning we got ready and dressed, ran a few errands and then we went to the mall to have pictures taken of the cousins.  Kaitlyn was so excited to see Camaryn, Hope and Beau.  After pictures and a yummy, hot lunch, and a little shopping, we headed back home for a little while.  We picked Daddy up from work and headed to Auntie Christy's and Uncle Dennis's for delicious tacos!

Tuesday was a morning of shopping before heading to Chick Fil A to meet Miss Sarah, Kayla and Dylan, Auntie Jamie, Carmen, Auntie Christy and Camaryn for our playdate!  The girls all played for hour and hammed it up for the camera before we headed out.  We hit the party store for some supplies for both the grown-up New Year's party and the kid's one.  Then we had my favorite pizza for dinner!

Today we are going to run some errands before having a wonderful celebration to welcome in the new year.

From our family to yours, we wish you a safe ad happy New Years!

What an amazing and magical Christmas. Thank you so much to everyone that has helped make this holiday season incredible!

On Sunday we went and visited our friends Dorin, Nicole and Dominick. Kaitlyn was beyond excited to give Dominick the present she had for him! Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis and Camaryn joined us too and the kids just played and played until it was time to go. From there we headed to the cemetery and then to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Sunday dinner before I got to work on my sewing. I was so excited, I was able to finish all of my sewing way earlier than I anticipated!

Monday morning Kaitlyn and I went to Walmart before heading to Miss Sarah, Kayla and Dylan's house for the kid's Christmas party and gift exchange with Kayla. We had yummy pizza before the kids dug into their presents! We were joined by Auntie Christy, Camaryn, Auntie Jamie and Carmen. The kids were all so excited! Kaitlyn loved her build a bear set to go with her maker, her beautiful ornament with a BFF picture with Kayla and her wooden dolls from Camaryn! After the paper was thrown across the living room, we got started on some salt ornaments. The girls cut them out before we cooked and painted them. Soon after it was time for Kaitlyn and I to go and visit Auntie Christina in her recovery room. She finished up early and we missed her :( We ran a couple of errands and braved a few stores before going home.

Monday night Billy, his daddy, grandma and grandpa all came over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play and exchange presents. I don't know if Kaitlyn was more excited about her awesome spring loaded, noise making light saber or her drink making Barbie Cafe! I love watching William and Kaitlyn play.

Tuesday morning Kaitlyn and I did some cleaning and picking up before heading to the Imax to meet Nana, Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis and Camaryn to watch Polar Express. Too bad it sold out :( So, we headed to the mall! The girls were so excited those shopaholics! We headed to Johnny Rockets for some food before taking our spoiled princesses to the candy store to gorge their hearts out!

Tuesday night we picked Daddy up from work and headed over to Auntie Jamie, Uncle Joel and Carmen's house for dinner with Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis, Camaryn, Nana and Papa. Kaitlyn was so excited to celebrate Carmen's first Christmas with her! We ate a lot of delicious food and opened some great presents! Kaitlyn was so excited to get a new addition to her Barbie house and a new Barbie movie! We watched the DVD of the pictures I made from 2008 (don't worry, I'll have an online version super soon!) before heading home.

Christmas Eve morning started bright and early so we could go to Imax and watch Polar Express in 3-D at Imax. Kaitlyn absolutely loved it. She was absolutely in awe, great wearing her glasses and reached out for everything that floated past her. I loved the movie. It had a great story and was so wonderful.

After Imax we had a couple errands to run before coming home to meet Daddy and get ready. We packed up our presents and then repacked them all, all while getting done up for Christmas Eve. We headed to the cemetery to take Matthew his wreath before getting to Nana and Papa's house! We were met by Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis, Camaryn, Auntie Barbara, Uncle Dean, Brian, Sherrie, some of Papa's friends, Auntie Stephanie, Hope and Beau. The girls had an absolute blast ripping the paper from their dozens upon dozens of presents. There is no way I could list all of what Kaitlyn got and loved. Some of her favorites were the Barbie Cruise Ship, Super cute Clothes, the matching acessories (even a matching doll!), Barbies and more barbies, a Diamond Castle Ornament, a princess castle, art supplies, stamps and so much more! She was also super excited to open cards from her Cousins, Aunts and Uncles and MawMaw in Alabama!

After a long and full night, Kaitlyn quickly fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Kaitlyn woke up nice and early Christmas morning to discover that Santa did indeed think she was a good girl! She got the Barbie Diamond Castle, a new cell phone and bouncing balls! Everything she asked of Santa, he brought! After she got over the shock, she started ripping open the presents from Mommy and Daddy. She got new doll clothes, a new Baby Alive Doll, lots of Barbies and basically anything and everything she's seen and added to her list in the last couple of months! :P She took several breaks as you'll see in the video we took, hee hee. After she opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa! She opened so many presents, loved all of her personalized new clothes, Easy Bake Oven, fun game where she can dance and be on TV, boots and a super cool Barbie carrier among other things! Eventually she finished opening all of her stocking and was so excited with all the make-up and candy Santa brought along with a "Matthew Necklace" like Mommy's.

We got dressed, ready and cleaned up as much stuff as we could before Auntie Christina, Uncle Brian, Auntie Sammie, Uncle Davey, Auntie Jamie and Uncle Scotty arrived! Then, of course, it was more presents! Kaitlyn opened even more clothes, more awesome toys, a personal art set that prints what she draws, a new leapster and awesome gymnastics barbies, and super cute shoes! Then, Auntie Beth and Uncle Paul came over where Kaitlyn got to open even more! She got a cool cook book that is all Disney recipes with a new apron, oven mitts and tupperwear baking supplies to get use out of!

Great Grandma Mauda came over not too much later, and Kaitlyn tiredly opened even more presents! There is nothing else she could possibly want! Nana and Papa came over as well as Uncle Brian's Mommy and Daddy (where Kaitlyn got to open yet again :P) and we got to eat! YUMMY!

We did a lot of eating, talking, playing, joking and enjoying the season today! Daddy and I went to the cemetery to take Matthew the stocking Santa filled for him. His lights on his tree were still twinkling bright :)

When we came home people started leaving. Many good-byes were said before I started the huge task of cleaning and organizing Kaitlyn's new things. It took over 3 hours and a lot of energy, but I think Kaitlyn has everything opened and ready to play with, and put away.

Christmas could only have been better if Matthew was here. Kaitlyn had a wonderful and magical day and there isn't much more we could ask for. We hope that your Christmas was filled with wonder and amazement.

From our Family to Yours, Merry Christmas!  We hope your holiday is filled with nothing but wonder, magic and joy!

Expect an update later or tomorrow!  We are getting ready to celebrate again!

What an amazing week!  This might get a little long, so get ready to read :P

Monday morning Kaitlyn went to school and started practicing for their holiday play.  Kaitlyn was incredibly excited to have the role as Goldilocks in the Three Bears portion of the play!

Monday night we headed up the hill with Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis and Camaryn.  We went to the Jackson Rancheria to watch the holiday light show they have.  We arrived to a little bit of snow, a warm tent, hot chocolate, plenty of marshmallows, Santa and Mrs. Claus and then a hay ride to visit the second largest light show in America!  It was gorgeous!  All the lights were LED and the girls were absolutely mesmerized.

After, it began to snow, so we headed up the hill as far as we could where it was really snowy!  It was the first time Kaitlyn and I have been in falling snow.  It was beautiful and the girls had so much fun making snow balls and eating snowflakes!  From there we headed to Camaryn's Grandma Loretta's house.  The girls played and played and played, having to be dragged away fairly late in the evening.

On Tuesday Kaitlyn had school, followed by a trip to the mall.  We had a lot of shopping to do!  We bought more presents and got what we would wear for our holiday portraits.  When Daddy got home we headed to Auntie Christy's house to meet Inez of Too Much Photography.  I would strongly recommend her to anyone.  Her pictures were gorgeous and she was so easy!  We stayed until late while the girls played.

Wednesday morning Kaitlyn was back at school while I met with the investigator regarding my accident last Thursday.  We took care of some errands and had a busy night at home.  Kaitlyn made goody bags and signed Christmas cards for each and every kid in her class!  I made hair bows and worked on Christmas presents before going to bed much too late.

Thursday was a busy day! Kaitlyn had her Christmas recital.  When it came time to be goldilocks, she decided she didn't want to be Goldilocks and cried :(  When I asked her why she was crying, she said it was because they weren't on a real stage!  She quikly volunteered to be the Smart Pig in the Three Little Pigs and did great!  She also sang We Wish you a Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells, said several nursery rymes and was so cute!  Keep an eye out for video!

After school we headed to Chick Fil A for our playdate.  Kaitlyn played while I got to talk with Auntie Jamie, Sarah, Shauna and Auntie Christy while cutting my Christmas Cards.  We met a very nice woman while we were there, who was incredibly sweet.  We left Chick Fil A to come home and make tutu skirts and work on more Christmas stuff!

Friday was a no school day for Kaitlyn!  She had gymnastics at 11 and we had over 25 errands to run!  Of course, at Gymnastics I locked my keys in the car.  Luckily Papa came and saved us and we spent the next 8 hours jumping from one place to the next!  We finished up with a yummy dinner at Denny's.

Today Kaitlyn had dance class.  She did great!  She has a dancers body and has really started to catch on and become a bit more graceful.  When we got home, we got ready to go to Kaitlyn's friend Natalie's birthday party.  She had so much fun!  She danced, she played, she ate, she got dressed up, she had no intention of leaving.

We came home and Kaitlyn rested while I finished up over 20 gifts!  I even wrapped everything and sorted nearly all of the presents.  All that is now left on my to-do list is to finish 3 gifts that are halfway done, wrap 1, add something to 2 gifts then wrap and pick up one last thing and I am done!!

This evening we went on a magical trip to Santa's Secret Adventure!  It was so neat.  We traveled to Penyrn where we were met by Auntie Christy, Uncle Dennis and Camaryn.  We roasted marshmallows by the fire before getting on a one horse open sleigh with jingle bells and heading to Santa's Secret house.  We enjoyed a warm fire, hot coco, cookies and a story by one of the elves before Mrs. Claus came and got us to wake up Santa!  The girls had fun talking with him and did so well!

We have a great week planned!  We hope everyone is enjoying the magic of the season!  Our cards went out this morning, so you should have them soon!
Comments

Sounds like you guys are having a BLAST!! I so wish we lived closer!!

What a great and busy weekend!  Kaitlyn went back to school on Thursday, very excited to be surrounded by the friends she had missed so much!  After school, we piled in the car to Chick Fil A for our awesome weekly play date.

On the way, we were in stopped traffic on the freeway when the driver behind us got a bit distracted and rear-ended us.  Other than some minor back pain I've been having, we're all fine!  Kaitlyn was a little scared, but she was back to normal as soon as I pulled out her DVD player while I talked to the other driver.  :)  She's a champ!

We went to Chick Fil A, where Kaitlyn played and played.  Then we came home to get ready for Daddy's holiday party!  Kaitlyn looked gorgeous in her purple velvet dress and matching shoes.  I got sick right before dinner was served so our prince charming, aka Daddy, took us home to feel better!  Grandma and Grandpa brought our food home and it was delicious!

On Friday, Kaitlyn had school.  For "J" week she took in her little Jasmine character. She had fun playing, painting and having a great time.  After school we had lunch with daddy before heading to the mall to meet Camaryn and Auntie Christy at Build A Bear to make some Moose.  Kaitlyn got super grumpy shortly after so we headed home for a nice rest.

Yesterday Kaitlyn had dance class in the morning.  She's progressing nicely and looks so cute doing her positions!  We ran a couple of errands and then headed home to rest.  Daddy and I worked on putting up the outside decorations while Kaitlyn cleaned her room.  Then, we headed to Nana and Papa's house where Daddy made some delicious chicken and steak!  No complaints here at all!  After we picked up Auntie Chisty, Uncle Dennis and Camaryn to look at some Christmas lights.  It didn't take long at all for both girls to be sound asleep.

This morning we headed to Shelby's 3rd birthday party where Kaitlyn bounced and bounced and bounced.  Unfortanetly we had to leave early to make it to Nico's party a tad bit late where Kaitlyn got to bounce and bounce and bouce some more!  She's so excited she got to play with so many classmates and really looks forward to one of her best friend's party's next week!

This week, we have a lot planned.  Adventures to look at lights, Christmas parties, Santa's Secret Adventure, a trip to Imax, Kaitlyn's gymnastics show and her Christmas show at school, and of course the rest of our Christmas shopping/wrapping and making!

Keep your eye's open tomorrow for new pictures.  I added more disk space to Kaitlyn's site so I can add more.  :)

We hope everyone is having a joyous holiday season!  May all your dreams and wishes be filled
