Today Katie (ah um... Kate as she now insists on being called), Travis and I went to see Horton Hears A Who. It was really cute. Slightly over her head (and way over his head), but the characters and animation were spectacular. Dr. Seuss would be proud!

Our Weekend Adventure
Time for a little adventure!
We just returned from our weekend getaway to the Tampa, Florida area. We had lots of fun.
We arrived late afternoon in Tampa. Our plan was to take the kids to Kids City. This is a unique place that has 16 kids-size buildings in a kids size "city". There's a Publix grocery store to shop in, a bank to play bank teller or customer, a kids sized McDonalds where you can pretend to work the drive-thru or be a customer, a library, a courthouse, etc

Oh Man Have We Been Having Fun!!!
Wow! Where do I start!?!
We now officially have a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old. Travis turned 2 on Dec. 30th. We celebrated by going to the circus and having a small family gathering to celebrate.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!
Whew! We made it to the new year! A renewed chance to lose weight, spend more time with family and friends, learn something new, ditch bad habits, get more organized, etc., etc. Good luck to us all!
We DID get to spend more time with our family over the Christmas and into the new year. Nana and Papa came to visit from Oregon. Graciously, Grandpa opened up his home to them for three weeks since we are out of space here at home! We had so much fun
