1-20-08 I got to sing Happy Birthday to mommy today ;) We went to Gigi's to celebrate her birthday. No chocolate cake, but there were brownies.
1-19-08 Dance class!
So today while driving to dance class I asked mommy what Papa says about guns, she said 'What does he say? I say what he said last night about not touching and then start to ask why he has guns; mommy says because he was a policeman. I then say well why do bad people have them; she just said they they were not suppose to have them and only policeman should. I then say what comes out of a gun? She replies with a bullet. Oh okay I will have to ask Papa to see a bullet.' Oh I think I am going to be a handful just by the look that mommy gave me after all these questions.
1-18-08 Today mommy took us to Miss Amy's house... before we left I put a BIG smile on mommy's face. I was looking outside saying, "What a beautiful day. Mommy said it was all the Angels telling us Papa Lou was there and he was okay. So I stuck my face to the window and said, Thank You Papa Lou so much for the sun". Mommy had a few tears run down her face, but she told me they were happy tears ;)
We went to Papa and KK's house tonight for a little bit to play. One of Papa's guns were out and I was eyeing it.... Papa said what do you do with a gun? Meaning I am suppose to get a grown-up or Papa to move it; my reply was 'You shoot it'. It was very tough to hold back a smile because I said it so honestly and not being funny, but Papa said 'No' you get a grown up and DO NOT touch it. I said okay!
1-17-08 Happy Birthday Mommy! not too much of a birthday, but I gave her a hug.... I could not figure out why there was no cake though!
We had Papa Lou's funeral today; I did not really understand it, but enjoyed being with everyone.... in church though while everyone sang I did too; only it was my own song. I did not sing too loud, but enough for some people to hear. I also towards the end started twirling like a ballerina in the pews..... there was a slow song playing and everyone was so quiet that I just wanted to try to make people happy. It is hard for me to understand while people were so sad..... I tried though. Later we went back to Mimi's house and I got to see everyone and play with Reagan.
1-16-08 Papa came this morning to get me, but I did not go to gymnastics class. I will go again next week. Papa took me to have fun while mommy went to Papa Lou's visitation.
Tonight I went to the visitation and had so much fun! I told mommy and daddy I was so excited....... it is because I was running around with Reagan and playing. That is good though because I do not know any better ;) Also it shows sometimes that life goes on...... us 'little' girls made people smile.
1-15-08 This morning was a difficult morning; mommy was really sick and daddy woke me up to take me to Miss Amy's and I was not happy! I am so use to mommy waking me up and cuddling me so I cried really hard until mommy got me settled down. On the way though I talked to daddy and was fine and I even got upset when he was leaving... I think that made him feel good just that i really wanted to be with him, but also hard because of being upset.
1-14-08 Mommy came home today and was sick! I was a wild child because I did not take a nap today ;) poor mommy...... I was wild and daddy tried to control the situation, but I was so wound up. I ended up hurting Peyton, but at least it wasn't too bad. I pulled her off the bed my her arm and she landed on her back! I showed daddy how I did it with my doll and I whiped her off the bed; luckly Peyton has a bit more weight to her. I was very sorry though!

Papa Lou went to be with the angels today!
1-12-08 Papa and KK came tonight so Mommy and Daddy could go out to dinner with Chad and Dana ;) They needed a night out for a few hours..... and Mommy and Dana were celebrating Dana's birthday and Mommy's upcoming birthday.
We had a great time and the house looked like a College Frat House when mommy and daddy arrived home; well I guess minus beer cans and drunken people. It was funny and it showed that I had a great time.... I need to get a picture of me playing horse with Papa! Yes I put a saddle on him ;)
1-12-08 UPDATE
Papa Lou's lung calapsed today.... Please say a special prayer for my family! He is resting peacfully and has my Mimi and Grandma there.
1-11-08 UPDATE
Grandpa Lou was assessed last night and has had a bandage put on him that has a silver lining on the side that is up against his skin; in 3 days they will remove this and do the procedure they do on all burn patients............ He has had a somewhat rough day, so hopefully they will get him more comfortable. Just as a backup; it is not sure as to what is going on with Grandpa Lou. He has been in pain and discomfort for a few months and was not with us at Christmas due to not feeling well. He has had so many tests here and they have not found anything; his doctors wanted him to go to U of M and he did not want to go because of the trip and becoming so weak. He was talked into this and I think it was a great idea because he is in good hands and will not have to suffer with pain....... at least suffer for long before he can receive some medicine to feel better. Please again pray for him! Mimi is taking on a lot herself and trying to be the middle person for everyone.. say a special prayer for her also!
1-10-08 UPDATE
Grandpa Lou is not doing too well! Mimi and Grandma had to make a trip back to U of M. I will not go into detail, but the Burn Unit will be coming in tonight to assess him.
1-10-08 Mommy was off today because of everything going on with Grandpa Lou.... It was fun spending the day with her.
1-9-08 UPDATE:
G-Papa went to pick up Mimi and Grandma today so they could come home for a littel break and to re-coop.... they needed this. Grandpa Lou was sleepy today because they had him on medicine to make him comfortable. They still have no idea yest as to what he is dealing with.
1-9-08 I am feeling better today, but am still not eating. I did however, get to go to my first gymnastics class. Papa had the pleasure of taking me and I also got to see mommy......
When mommy came to pick me up tonight I did not want to go with her, so I got to go with Papa and KK to give Taan a bath ;) I then came home... I really wanted another slumber party with Papa and KK, but KK had to work the next day and so did Papa.

Prayers, prayers, prayers Please! Mimi took Papa Lou and grandma to U of M today and on their way they were in an accident; someone lost control of their car and hit Mimi while driving! Everyone is okay.... they made it to the hospital and during testing Papa Lou started to complain of pain, so they stopped testing to bring him down to ER. Later this evening he was admitted and hopefully we will get good news......
I stayed the night at Papa and KK's today; I am feeling okay, but not 100%. Not really eating except a bit here and there and also not drinking too much.
1-7-08 Grandma Brower came today to stay with Peyton and I. Today was kind of like yesterday; I am still not feeling well and still running a temp. I tried to play today, but when mommy and daddy got home I quickly tired out from the day....... Mommy told me that Papa Lou is on his way to U of M tomorrow ;) Hopefully they can help.
1-6-08 Papa Lou came home from the hospital today; they have not found anything and he is doing okay...... well I am not sure if that is correct wording or not. He is hoem where he wants to be.
I am not feeling well this afternoon.. I have a fever of 101.7
1-5-08 Dance class today! I had sooooo much fun and missed it over Christmas break ;)
1-3-08 Mimi was at my house this morning and I was a good girl ;) Grandma is doing well and it just tired; they determined yesterday was due to stress, so she is taking it easy today. I was a good girl today, but a pistol at the same time. I did not take a nap for Mimi, so when mommy got me I was a tired girl.
