6-5-07 Hailee came over tonight to practice our dance routine, along with getting our make-up done. I think we had a lot of fun and then some ;) It will be interesting to see how we are on Thursday night at our rehersal and then of course on Saturday for the 'real' show. I am so excited and I think after all this pampering the last 2 weeks I will dmand more of it to come because I have gotten the treatment so why stop it now? Oh daddy how much do you have in that checking account?????
6-2-07 Wedding Day! Mommy thought I would never wake up today; I slept until 9:00 and probably would have slept later, but I heard noise in my room. (it was mommy) We quickly took off to the church since everyone else was already there; we needed to get dressed adn have our hair done by 11:00. I did a great job getting my hair curled and did not seem too nervous about it, but when Grandma Karen (this is what I call Bethie's mom) was pinning my hair up I cried a bit, but mommy gave me my lipstick and I was good to go..... I was so surprised when I looked in the mirror at myself; Pretty Princess.
I walked down the aisle ood with mommy, but did not drop any petals, so when we were where we needed to be Makayla and I emptied our petals on the floor and sat down to snack for a few minutes ;) Makayla layed on her tummy for awhile on the steps; I went and walked behind the decorations for a minute, then proceded to lay on my tummy on the steps. While I did this I kicked my legs in the air like I was watching a movie.... I don't even think I can tell you ALL of what I did, but Grandma Karen kept telling mommy (when she would turn and look at her) 'Its okay, she is fine'. I think mommy was freaking out a little bit, but I took pressure off of the groom. I did go sit with Grandma Karen for a little bit when I started to wonder and then when it was time to walk back down the aisle I was ready to go and forgot to wait for Mikayla. Well that was about it for me and I was teary for the rest of the day almost except when it was time to eat. Oh the kicker I started to strip off my dress after I ate; someone said something while mommy was with Bethie sitting at a table talking and she looked at me and my dress was at my waist!!!! I was finished being a Princess... Bethie said though when we were leaving that I did a good job and she loved me ;)
6-1-07 First of all Happy 5th Anniversary to Mommy and Daddy....
We made it to Hart last night and I was ready for bed soon after we got there since it was late, but in the morning I got to play with Nicole and Makayla. I went with them to their babysitters house so mommy could go get a pedicure with the girls. Later that day Bethie came to pick us up and we went to take a nap before rehersal that night. I was good, but was unsure of what I was to do while walking down the aisle, so mommy had to carry me ;) Maybe tomorrow it will be better, but I was all over the stage while Pastor was trying to run through the rehersal... oh well I am 2!!!!
5-31-07 Mommy took me to the pool today to get out and give me some fresh air! We had a picnic lunch at the pool with Hailee and Aimee..... I sure do love playing with my Hay Bug even though she does not come all the way inot the water with me ;) Papa stopped by the pool to say Hi and see me again today; he stopped by last night when I was sick to see him ;) Oh Papa bought me a sandbox today, so I am so excited, but mommy says we still need to get some sand....
Tonight we are leaving to head to Hart, MI for Bethis's wedding; I get to wear my princess dress.
5-30-07 Mommy had to wake me this morning so I would not continue sleeping... Mimi had told her I should get up. So I did after a few minutes of struggling to wake. I have been doing well for the most part today and my fever is still there, but somes down and then goes up a bit. Mommy does not give me medicine though unless I am really uncomfortable because she wants my body to fight it and to make sure it is not going to go down just b/c of the medicine. I have just layed around and have gotten up a few times, but just for a couple minutes.
I have to say Thank you to Papa for cleaning my car out, getting me popsicles, and driving us home last night. I originally wanted to stay at his house, ( i think it was because I did not want to get in the car, so when I was told mommy could home me i was ready to go at that moment) Also thank you to KK for following us to give Papa a ride home after working all day and then landscaping after work ;)
5-29-07 What an evening we had! Mommy came to pick me up at daycare and I was sitting in a chair in the shade outside. I took one look at mommy and started crying; mommy thought I was in time out and asked if I was okay and Amy's assistant (Miss Amy was gone) said I was fine, but that I had asked to go inside a little while ago. Her assistant told mommy that I couldn't because noone was inside and I could not be alone in there. I jsut wanted mommy to hold me and put my head on her shoulder and did not pick it up after that. Mommy asked if I felt okay b/c of how I was acting and I said no... we left to go to our car and mommy just said that I was warm and not just from being outside. So we started to drive and mommy was talking to Mimi on the phone and I vomited al over in the car; I just started crying. We drove to Papas since his house was close by and mommy got me cleaned up while my Papa cleaned Mommy's car; oh papa does not do well with vomit either!!!!
I did get sick a few more times so needless to say i missed my last night of dance class... I don't think Iw as really thinking about dance at this point. I ha a fever of 102.7 and was just tired. Papa drove us home, so i could sit on mommys lap and since papa was a police man it was okay for this 1 time. I did vomit agian at home and my fever was still high, but I just wanted mommy to hold me and ended up falling asleep and we slept together.
5-28-07 I slept in again this morning!!!! I woke about the same time as yesterday morning ;) Today mommy and daddy took me to the zoo... It was so much fun and I had fun seeing all the animals. Daddy took me to see the Sting Ray and mommy rode on the camel with me; there was a baby camel also laying by her mommy. Her mommy was on break so I was not able to ride her. Oh also we got to go into a pen where they had baby goats; that was really fun and they were so small. The lady working in there said they were still getting fed with bottles; one really liked mommy and jumped onto her lap when she bent down to pet another one and he was even sucking on her finger like a paci.
5-27-07 Wow last night I got to sleep with mommy because Daddy was in Detroit at a Tigers game with Jam. We slept until 8:45! Mommy was very impressed and shocked also ;) Today we had a nice relaxing day and I played outside for most of it; I got to see Papa in the morning and afternoon because he came by to try to fix my burley so mommy could pull me behind her bike; KK came with him in the afternoon so I got to see her also. Hailee, Aimee, and Brian came down to play for a little bit in the morning also before our naps...
5-26-07 So for everyone who knows that I back tracked on potty training here is an update. mommy got fed up with it today and put 'real' underwear on me and I have not had an accident and have gone on the big girl potty. Before today i was going in my pull ups or diaper depending what I had on; I would tell mommy, "that I did not like the big girl potty", "it was not for me", "I use to go on the big girl potty, but not any more", and everything else that I could think of. So needless to say I was potty trainind about a month ago and would do so well with no accidents and then after Florida and the move fell backwards; Mommy knows that this is normal, but says I am way too smart to not know what I am doing.....
5-23-07 I have no idea where to begin explaining my day today! Well I was with my Papa and we went for a bike ride; well soon after we started this adventure Papa took a corner too tight and my burley tipped over with me inside. I cried because it scared me, but I was fine. So Papa and I said that we were attacked by wild animals and that is why my burley fell onto its side ;) That was just the beginning.... at nap time Papa always has me put whatever toys I want to sleep with into my bed and then I stand on my bike and climb in. Well today we did just that and a little later Papa came in to check on me because he heard me playing with a toy that I did not take to bed with me... Okay here is the exciting part; he walks in and sure enough i have a toy in bed with me that I did not take in, but I also have my markers and drawings ALL over my body. Yes you read this right; from my shoulders down to my toes! So I know how to escape out of my bed and climb back in with no assistance and proved just that today. Mommy took pictures when she woke me from my nap and will update those soon....... just wait! Oh most of them came off in the bath, but my belly button is still colored pink along with some purple poka dots on my belly and my upper thigh ;)
5-22-07 So I woke up this morning and 1st thing I said to Mommy was "I get chickies tonight"; well this is because mommy would not take me to McDonalds last night. So then I proceded to tell her I go to Miss amy's while you work, then I go out to dinner, and then I go to dance class.... i know my entire Tuesday schedule 1st thing in the morning ;) Mommy was not quite awake so she just shook her head yes and I told her, "use your words momma"
5-21-07 Mimi took me to the park today to play while mommy was at work; I had a lot to say and surprise everyone with all that I say for a 2 1/2 year old ;) I will say, "this look funny" if I have on something I don't like; "your my special girl", "I like you", "I so frusterated". These are just the beginnings of the conversations I follow with; we will see what happens when i am 4 because right now I talk as if I am......
Oh I have made it very clear that daddy gets the new baby and I am mommy's. I have said again and again that mommy may not hold the new baby and when she asks why can I hold Baby Brian and you don't get mad at me, I reply with "he not ours". That is the other thing I refer to people as her, she, he, him, so this is also something that I shock everyone with. I think it is just because of all the family I have around all the time ;)
5-20-07 We stayed in our pjs all day today until mommy decided that we could go to Hailees house for a little bit. Hailee and I did our dance routine, well actually i did it and Hailee just made faces at our mommy's because they were dancing right along; she was having more fun watching them..... I then of course asked Aimee for something to eat because I was hungry; I really do not have very good manners yet!
5-19-07 Mommy took me to the park this morning to play for a little bit; daddy has a bad cold so he did not join us.... I learned what the ice cream truck was today after my nap, so I think mommy is wondering if I will know what it is everytime I hear the music from it ;) I got a Dora popsocle since she is my favorite along with Mickey and a few others.
Tonight mommy, Aimee, Hailee, and I went out and played; it was a girls night! Oh one fun thing we really did was going to the MAC counter at the mall and getting our make-up done. I do not have any pics of this, but we had our dance make-up practiced a little and looked very cute with blu eye shadow on ;) After that we went and played on the toys at the mall; I think people thought our mommy's just put make-up on us all the time...... Hailee and I played very well tonight as usual, but we had missed each other!
5-18-07 Mommy and I went today and got some flowers to plant; I liked digging in the dirt and at times got a little carried away..... Later this afternoon mommy woke me up from my nap and daddy, mommy, and I went kaycking with Papa and KK. I got to run around with Bogard for a little bit also and enjoyed that. After that we all went and had dinner; I really wanted chickies from McDonalds so daddy went and got some for me while mommy, KK, and Papa ordered their meals. Thanks so much Dadda!!!!!
Oh papa now there are pics of you and i so you do not feel left out because of all the pics of me and my Mimi, Mommy, and Grandma Brower ;)
5-13-07 Happy Mothers Day!!!!! I got mommy (along with daddy of course) a pregnancy massage; I think she is very excited to get this done ;) Grandma Brower came over this morning and we went to Mimi's house for brunch; we had a good time and I got to play outside with my cousin Regean. G-Papa chased us around the yard a lot and so did Cezee and Bay.....
Later this afternoon I went with mommy to KK and Papa's house and I was happy to see papa and his eyes ;) I asked him "How your eyes doing"? Of course he was doing fine and I had to remember that I needed to be gentle when I was on his lap or when he was holding me. We all went to dinner with Gigi, Aunti Lisa, Beth, and Lindsey; after dinner we got ice cream and walked by the water in downtown Rockford. I was very upset when we had to leave!
5-11-07 I had to take mommy to the doctor today for her check-up; I have a lot of fun doing this as long as it is not for me. After that we did a few errands and then went to see Papa; he had surgery today... When i walked in the house I was a little afraid because Papa had his eyes covered and I could not see them. After he took off his eye packs I was better, but his eyes still had yuckies on them, so he kept his sun glasses on for me! I was very concerned about him so I got to take a nap with him. When I woke I was happy to see him and see he was still okay, but did not want to leave him tonight....
5-9-07 I went to Beths soccer game today with Papa, KK, and mommy after we had dinner at Olgas; I got a surprise visit today from daddy who showed up at the soccer game ;) I enjoyed that. I had a lot of fun at the game and I met a new friend and a few older girls who thought I was so cute ;)
5-8-07 I was excited to go to dance class tonight because I finally had my tap shoes!!! A few weeks back I forgot to put them in my bag and we never found them again. Mimi bought me some new ones because I needed them for my recital and I was feeling left out since I could not shuffle with all my friends..... Our recital is 4 weeks away and Mommy and Aimee are going to get us girls together to practice putting our make-up on ;) All I have heard is Blue eye shadow, a little concealer, mascara, and eyeliner! This should be interesting, but sounds like fun. Oh I have to add this in; it was too hot upstairs for the Mommy's to watch, but guess who had a baby in their arms the entire moment of walking through the door till the end when we were walking to our car??????????? hint(mommy of course had baby Brian)
5-7-07 This evening Mommy took me to Daddy's softball game; I was so excited to go but before we got there we stopped at the store to get him something to drink and I was so proud that I picked it out and when I saw him at the feild I went running up to him with his Gatorage in hand to give to him ;) I like to play hard to get with my daddy sometimes, but I don't really mean to hurt his feelings, so there are times where i just need to surprise him with the things I do. Oh I also made Daddys night 2 other times, one time he was standing down on the feild and he was waving to me so I said, "Hi goofball daddy" really loud; the other was when i was behind home plate and daddy was at 3rd base and I kept yelling for him to come to me so i could give him a kiss... he finally did but I could not figure out what was taking him so long.
