8-6-06 Papa charged Kylees' jeep last night; she did ride in it today and was nervous at first when it started to move. After a bit she got back in a played for a little while, but was still unsure about it. When we got it hope she drove it on the driveway and seemed more comfortable, but does not realize she needs to steer ;)
8-4-06 We went to the zoo today with Devon and Mackenzie; little did we know that it was 'Kids Day'. It was fun, but there were kids everywhere! Ky was afraid of the animals in the petting zoo, but she did ride on the camel with me ;) I will scan that picture and get it on her wedsite.
7-31-06 We spent the day at the pool.. yes I know it is such a hard life we live ;) I do however start my new job tomorrow, so it will not be like this always. Kylee and Hailee play so good togeter; well actually let me say that Hailee plays well with Kylee. Kylee is a little rough and mean at times, but at this point Hailee doesn't mind....... just wait one of these days she will get her back!
7-24-06 Oh I really cannot believe how tiring it is to go on vacation! I feel like going back to work (in a sence) is easier than vacationing ;) After being gone from cottage to cottage for a week...... I really do not think Kylee knows what to do with herself now that we are home. The last 3 days we were spending time with my dads family; however my dad, Kris, Ky and I stayed at Crystal Mountain Resort and it was unbelievable! Ky and I had our own room with a whirlpool bath and Ky thought it was so fun to swim in the tub along with a ton of bubbles. Other than the hotel being awesome we had a great time with the fam also, Ky swan and went on a speedboat trip, and just played.
7-20-06 We have been at a cottage the last couple of days and Ky has been so funny! I have updated pictures and we will be leaving for another cottage on Friday,so I will have even more pictures in a couple more days. While we were at this cottage, Ky has started talking soooooo much more. (water, outside, inside, blueberries, Boo, Kay-Kay, GiGi, booty, pee-pee, poo-poo) She is calling everyone by a name now and is telling me when she has gone to the potty, so hopefully we are on our way with this ;) Check out Kys pictures and videos......
7-7-06 Tiffany and Kam came over today and we went to the pool for the afternoon; Snowman and Grammie showed up and Ky showed them both how she is swimming now.... I will update pictures soon.
7-1-06 I have updated a better video of Ky swimming; today she did not want anyone to help her swim. I guess yesterday was the beginning and today she was jumping off the step into the water. Papa came to watch for awhile and was amazed........
6-30-06 I took Kylee to the pool today; I know rough life ;) She swam byherself today! I know she has done this before in swimming class, but today she had her life jacket on and was treading in the water. I will update a video....
6-27-06 Kylee went to Grammie Great's today and when we were driving there she kept talking about PaPa; we arrived there and she said, PaPa? I told her , "No" you are going to be with Grammie Great for awhile and then PaPa will come get you in a little bit, she says, "K".
6-25-06 I cannot even list everything that she is saying now; it seems like every day it is something different or a word that she was saying is more clear now.
6-24-06 We went to the zoo with Meredy ad Dani today..... it was a little hot, but not bad. I attempted to get Kylee to ride on the camel, but that was a disaster! (It wasn't that bad) I got her into line and we had Dani get on first to show Ky it was okay; I put her on that camel and that is when she lost it......... Dang it, I wanted a camel picture ;)
Today Kylee came home from Grandpa and Grammies house with some new phrases...... Knock It Off and BooShhhh. Well the Knock It Off phrase for anyone who knows my dad says it all; now the BooShhhh at first I thought was going to be the start of a bad word, but come to find out she is saying Boo (like I scared you) and Shhh (for be quiet, I am going to scare you again)
Rob and I both called in to work today; Rob had not slept well all night and had a sick feeling stomach. I on the other hand started vomiting at midnight and was not feeling well for the day. I think I caught a little of what Ky had. It is hard for a mom to be sick when she has children because the world does not stop for us............................... ;) Ky is still feeling fine
6-11-06 Today we went to Detroit for a walk that was being; funny thing though is that Barry Sanders was there in attendance also! (Yes this is why we went for any of you who now my husband) Rob and I did this walk 2 years ago and decided to go again this year; the weather was perfect for a 3 mile walk. I will update with a picture...
