3-22-06 We have been dealing with tantrums for a few weeks now and let me tell you they can end any day! I really do not know where she gets her attitude from...........

3-8-06 My little girl actually has hair that I can kind of pull back now ;) How she has changed in the last year.........

3-3-06 Congrats to Jamie and Deanna on the arrival of Carter James (7 lbs. 5 oz.)
Kylee was very unsure about this little baby and also when I was holding him she needed to sit on my lap also; but that changed quickly when she was sitting on Deanna's bed eating cookies.
2-27-06 Kylee is learning so much these days; she knows animal sounds (cow, dog,cat, monkey, wolf); body parts (bellybutton, hair, hands); she is sitting on the potty now (we have yet to go again, but she sits); she dances; her sign language is growing alot also (horse, snow, fruit, banana, thank-you)
2-24-06 we have made it home and all is well; Ky was so happy to see us. (that moment was priceless) Our trip was awesome and well enjoyed. We saw many famous people from Steve Young to Brittney Spears; everyone was really relaxed and down to earth. The hotel we were at was unbelievable and is well liked by many famous people so I believe this was a once in a lifetime hotel. I have updated some pictures from our trip and ones of Kylee also.
2-13-06 We are off to Hawaii in about 36 hours ;)
2-11-06 As of 9:00 Am Nonie has left us to be with her 'other' family; she will be greatly missed and we will make sure that Kylee knows who she is. Nonie loved us all and she had a special place in her heart for her great, great, granddaughter Kylee. The last day prior to her passing she remembered us all and smiled so largly when she saw Kylee; her last words to Ky were, "Hey there Big Shot".

Well our Friends Tiffany and Artie have had their baby (Kamille Taylor, 5lbs., 17in.) Congrats to them all ;) Kylee is not going to know what to do with herself because she is always the center of attention when we are with them............

Snowman came home today ;)
Kylee was so funny as far as the facial expressions she made while we were at the airport; she was watching everyone and scrunching her nose up and making this little pouty look with her lips. When she saw my dad she was really unsure of who he was because of his beard; she recognized his voice, but other than that she couldn't figure him out.
1-21-06 We have started another session of swimming lessons this past Friday and I just wanted to let everyone know that Kylee has swam under water!!!!! It was so cool to see, so I am looking forward to next week when we can see what she does next.
12-26-05 I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas; I know we did.
Our Christmas parties started on Friday with Kristy's side of the family. Nonie was with us and seemed to enjoy herself; she did end up getting quite tired so she went back to her room after awhile. On Saturday Kristy came to our house and we had Christmas with she and Kylee got a bike from she and Snowman; later that evening we were off to Mimiere and GPapa's house to celebrate with them and GPapa's daughters. We had so much fun until our babe burnt her hand on a light.......... (all is well). I really cannot even begin to tell you what Little Miss Kylee received either ;) On Sunday we had our family Christmas and then went to Mimere's again and celebrated with that side of the family and then our last stop was Snowmans family. We had a great Christmas with Kylee; I know it will only become more fun as she grows.

12-21-05 Today has been a rough day; I received a call from Grammie and she told me that Nonie was not doing too well. I have not mentioned, but Nonie (Kylees
great, great Grandma) has had cancer for 3 years now and has been doing very well with only a few bumps here and there. Well the week before Thanksgiving she went into the hospital because she could not breath. To make a long story short she is home and has been for about 3 weeks; she has Hospice who comes in I think twice a week. We have known that she was not going to get better, but the time is nearing and it is just very difficult with the holidays right around the corner. Please say a special prayer for my family
12-18-05 Kylee is now spoonfeeding herself; let me tell you though mealtime takes a long time!
12-15-05 We have molars coming in ;)
12-14-05 We had our first really sick baby here the last 5 days! Kylee started running a temp on Saturday right before we were leaving for the GFS Christmas party; On Sunday she was running a temp of 104.5 and this continued through Monday. Monday night I called the after hours at the doctors office and they said she needed to be seen wihin 24 hours b/c there were no other symptoms. Rob and I ended up bringing her to GRAPES that night and they had no idea as to what was going on. To make a long story short on Wedn. she went to the doctor again and we were told she had Roseola. Roseola is a virus that starts with a high fever for 2-3 days and then is followed by a rash when the fever breaks.

Well today was not the happiest of days because we had to say godbye to Snowman; he left for a 2 1/2 month job to Afghanistan. Kylee has videos of Sowman that we will show her while he is gone, so she doesn't forget him ;)
12-2-05 Today was Kylee's 1 year checkup and she had 5 shots today which went as well as they could be. She did cry, but once I was able to pick her up and cuddle her she was fine ;) I do have to say that she is a show-off because she showed Dr. Larson about every sign she knows, every body part, how to stomp her foot, and how to howl like Yuma.

I just updated a picture of Rob's friend Brian who passed away on Febuary 4, 2005
I know that Brian is greatly missed by everyone who knew him, but is memory is still with us and Kylee will always know who he was because of the friendship that he gave to Rob.
