8-23-08 We went to go see Grandma this morning and she is doing well; not sure when she is coming home, but she was doing good. We took her for a walk around the unit... I thought she was walking so slow, but Mimi reassured me that she was doing GREAT!
We went and saw Papa at the Metro Cruise 2008... it was slow down by the Cascade side, but was it fun! Papa bought me a stuffed horse that I made at a booth; we went and got lunch; and I of course got to ride the pony.... it was not attached to one of those crazy metal things, but this lady named Kat walked us around. She even after the 4th time that i gave her a ticket to ride saddled up her BIG horse and let me ride him ;) Papa had a lot of fun with me.
8-22-08 It was a PJ day today at Miss Amy's, well only for me ;) I like to stay in my pjs all day! So when daddy came to pick us up I had to quickly get changed beacuse we went to the mall to play and then to McDonalds! I had a ton of fun..... I woke up when mommy got home and chatted with her for about 10 minutes ;)
8-21-08 Please say a prayer for my Grandma Cuddohy; last night about 3AM she went to the hospital.
My Mimi came to get me this morning and was very tired do to her being up since 2:30AM... we went to her house to let the dogs out and go for a walk. Mimi put a cartoon on for me, so she could put her makeup on ( I asked her earlier in the car, while she was putting my seatbelt on: "Mimi, why are your eyebrows so skinny"?) She did not have any makeup on...... a bit later I asked her why she was taking so long and that is she was ready we not leave? We were out the door and off to see Grandma..... at the hospital one of the other ladys gave me a bag of chips and I helped Grandma eat her lunch ;) The doctor came in and said, "Oh your mommy lets you eat chips" and I turned to Mimi and said "Mommy" with a cricked smile. Then I said "Mommy I need a drink", I was playing right along with that doctor. (the doctor didn't hear Mimi say, no I am the Mimi) Once we got back to Mimi's house she took a nap with me.....
Tonight we went and got our pictures taken at Krose park in Muskegon... I ahd fun, but could not figure out why we could not stay and play and I wanted to go see all the dogs down the beach! Mimi was suppose to come with Cezee and Bailey, but she had too much other stuff going on.
8-20-08 I went to the Dentist this morning with Mommy... we are at a new dentist and mommy wanted me to come to watch because I have my 1st appt. in September. I jsut kept asking when she was going to be done ;) I then told Meredith at the front desk I was going to see my Papa and have a Big, Googy, Glazed DONUT! My said shhh don't say that at the dentist office ;) Meredith told me though that she likes donuts also.
Uh-oh at the library today I did not want to leave, so I ran from Papa! The ending to the story you ask? a swift spank on the rump....... after my nap though everything was fine and I told mommy what happened, but said that Papa and I were good now ;) We went to the park and Papa brought me home later.
8-17-08 Mommy started to paint my room!
8-17-08 We finally went back to church today. I made two really cool pictures and we sang Jesus Loves Me... I also got to see my auntie Katie; I love her.
When we got home daddy took me out to spend some time with him; we went into this toy store that I love and I showed him a horse barn that I want for ALL my horses. He bought me a really cool mirror that I can decorate with stickers, and sparkle glue. Then we went out to lunch at McDonalds..... what a fun afternoon with daddy.
8-16-08 Mommy took me to get my haired trimmed today because it is looking '
crazy' at the bottoms from what she says. I did really well even though it was not my Aunt Jamie cutting it.
8-15-08 Tonight we went to our 1st Annual neighborhood block party. I had fun eating ice cream and popcorn and following a lot of little kids and their mommies around..... there was one little girl who I just loved! She was a little older than Peyton, but I was so nice and let her sit in my car and took her to pet the dogs that were with their families. I want her to come over and play....... there was one silly boy that kept following daddy ALL over. He would talk about weird things and just come and stand by him; mommy told me to be nice, but he followed daddy wherever he walked.
8-14-08 Mommy dropped me off to Papa this morning because Mimi had to take grandma Cuddohy to a doctors appointment..... we did our normal routine again ;) Then Mimi came to get me and I went to lunch with Mimi, Grandma Cuddohy, and of course Peyton. Where do you think we went???? McDonalds of course. I got a really late nap today and was very tired tonight.
8-13-08 Papa and I did our normal routine today of going to Starbucks and getting a donut at D&W.. oh and going to the Library
Tonight we went to Olgas again with Papa, KK, Mommy, Gigi, and Peyton. I haven't seen Gigi in forever it seems.....
8-12-08 I had a sleep-over at Papa and KK's house tonight and we watched the horses in the Olympics. This is my favorite thing to watch.....
I started to get a little home sick, but KK quickly took care of that by saying oh lets go read before bed. I ended up making up a story by things she drew; my imagination is so creative and I think KK has fun with seeing how I function because she is an Occupational Therapist and does this kind of thing everyaday. She has to teach her kids how to do things and address their skill level and I get told what level I am at and that she has some older students who are my age that cannot even do the task I am doing ;)
8-11-08 I went to work with mommy today.... We dropped Peyton off to KK; while we were there though I had a meltdown because I wanted to stay and mommy said NO because that was not in the agenda ;) On the way to her work I took my seatbelt off and she was so mad...... she pulled over to put it back on me! Once we got to work I was fine and told mommy that I jsut wanted some oatmeal is all and KK makes the best, so that is why I was upset.
8-10-08 We went to Caden's 1st Birthday party today; he is 6 weeks younger than Jade..... I swam in the pool, ate cake, and of course helped Caden open his gifts. There was another girl there that is a bit older than me and she and I are both very dominant, so there were a few moments of attitude! Great if I am the younger one, just wait until I am her age ;) Hmmmmmm I wonder where this attitude and mouthy-ness comes from? Any ideas MOMMY???? I bet Mimi has some ideas ;) NAyway after the party I was out in the car after all that activity.
8-9-08 cont. We went to Target tonight to get Caden a birthday gift after being lazy earlier today ;) We stayed in pj's until after our naps. I made my own wrapping paper for Caden also.... I love doing crafts.
8-9-08 We are staying at Papa and KK's house while they are on vacation in Suttons Bay. I go to sleep with mommy last night because Peyton had my room..... I think also because mommy had such a BIG bed and she likes having slumber parties with me..... she said it reminds her when she was little and she had slumber parties with Mimi every once in awhile. Papa and KK's room use to be my Mimi's room when mommy was a little girl; I thought that was so cool.
I kept saying BUTT tonight so I was not able to have nay chocolate bars! I said it once or twice after my shower and then mommy told me if I said it again i was not going to be able to have a hershey's chocolate bar; well i said it under my breathe while my back was turned to mommy and somehow she heard me! I was so upset........ she didn't give in either!!!!!!
8-8-08 My mouthy, sassy-ness is driving mommy nuts! Really I am 3 1/2 going on 14.... no joking!!!!!
8-8-08 Mimi came this morning to get me from Miss Amy's house to take me to the Lowell fair! Yes I got to go again ;) Mimi did have this planned for a couple weeks, so she was hoping that I was not burnt out from it yesterday.... No Mimi I guess I wasn't since we were there for OVER 5 hours! I missed my nap and everything.... it was so fun though.
We are house sitting for Papa and KK this weekend while they are away....
8-7-08 Papa day! We did our normal routine of D&W for a donut and off to Starbucks....
Tonight we went to the Lowell fair; KK, Papa, and I went to pick mommy and Peyton up. We had so much fun and I loved the horses, well I loved them after my ice cream ;) I also made Papa go to 3 different food booths to get my a hotdog that I really did not eat; well actually I ate the bun ;)
When we got home I was so happy to see daddy!
8-6-08 I went to play with Gigi today.. she took me to go get ice cream and then mommy came to get me because we were off to see Papa!!! He is home and that means no more message to him. We went out to Big Bobs Pizza! Well poor Papa was put on the back burner because my friend Reese was there; he goes to Miss Amy's house. He is 5 so an older boy and he was saying that I was his girlfriend and the smiles and girlie things I was doing was too funny. I would tilt my head when Reese talked and would put my hand on his arm..... Poor Papa said the green-eyed monster was coming out.... (I tell Papa this when he talks to other girls no matter their age) I jsut ignored it and kept my hands on my hips and would giggle. Once Reese left I was back to my 'old' self with everyone. We went to the park after dinner and then Papa brought us home later!
8-3-08 We went to Mimi's house today to visit and have dinner because uncle Tim was in town. I played with Reagan..... It was fun to see everyone and spend time with them. After dinner Reagan and I did a dog show for everyone and then daddy chased us around the yard, over, and over again! It was so fun.
I told Mimi tonight about what storms mean.... when it Thunders it means that Papa Lou is bowling (he loved to bowl), and when it is raining it means GOD is watering the flowers, and when it is lightening out everyone that we love it turning on and off the lights to say they love us. (Papa Lou, Uncle Brian, and Nonie)
