11/11/09 -- This Saturday, we were able to spend time with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Therese and take our kids "trick-or-treating" at their great-grandmas' homes. Our first stop was to see Grandma Helen, and then we made it to Grandma Jo's place. I think they both really enjoyed having visitors, especially such cute, ...
11/3/09 -- Another successful Halloween season is complete! (Thank goodness!) Things got started for Grace on Wednesday at school with her "Clown Parade." Unlike last year, there was no special make-up on her when she came home. But she enjoyed herself, especially since their parade ended with cookies at Mrs. ...
10/27/09 -- On Sunday, we carved pumpkins. We all got in on the fun this year, but as usual, Daddy did most of the work. It was a fun time for all of us, and most surprising to me, the kids (especially Owen) are crazy about the pumpkin seeds Chris roasted.
10/20/09 -- Last Friday, I was able to attend Grace's field trip to the pumpkin patch. Much thanks to my mom and aunt Nancy for watching Owen. We had a great time even though it was super cold! There was a hayride, petting zoo, and a pumpkin patch where the kids got to choose their own pumpkins. Grace seemed to enjoy he...
