January 7th 2006
Tonight I went to the ER at Mercy Hospital. I was running a fever and my mommy was worried. We we got there the nurse weighed me. I am now 12 pounds 12 ounces.
She took my temperature in my behind. UCKY! Mommy what did I due to deserve that?
Well I have pink eye. Its very yucky. My mommy has to give me amoxicillian 2 times a day. I hope I get better very soon.

Merry Christmas Mommy. I got two teeth today. I can't wait until you find them! I am such a big girl, ain't I mommy?

My 3 month well baby check. I am 10 pounds 6 ounces and 23 inches long! I have more then doubled my weight and grown 5 inches since I was born in July! I am doing AWESOME!! My mommy is proud of me!
One Month Check Up
August 25th Today I went for my one month check up. I am 7 pounds. The doctor said that if my gas is bad enough then mommy can switch me to a soy based formula...like Prosobee...but mommy said we'd wait and see if I can adjust and outgrow this. I think I can.
Hearing Rescreen
August 23rd Today was my hearing retest. I passed with flying colors! Horray!
WIC Appointment August 22nd
Today my mommy took me to WIC to get vouchers for my formula. They weighed me and I was a whopping 7 pounds 3 ounces! And I grew 1 3/4 inches!!! I am a porker!
BYE BYE UMBILICAL CORD!!! August 3rd
My umblical cord stump fell off today. Mommy is really happy. Apparently she HATED that thing. I am glad to have it off too. Now I can take "real" baths!
First Rain Shower!
My mommy took me and Alyssa, my big sister, on a walk this morning. We didn't even make it to the end of the block before the rain started! It was so COLD! Mommy was worried that I would get sick from being in the rain so she took us home. Alyssa was very upset that mommy had cut the walk short. She is just almost 3 years old so she doesn't understand! It was fun though.
Doctors Appointment #1
I went to the doctor today. I am 5 days old! Doctor Sheppard says that I am doing so good that I don't have to go back until I am 2 months old!! I have to get shots then though...OUCHIE!!
I am back up to my birth weight of 4 pounds 13 ounces...I dropped down to 4 pounds 10 ounces while I was still at the hospital with mommy. So I am GROWING!!! Doctor also said that while I DO have jaundice; it is not severe enough to warrant phototherapy lights. He told mommy to put me in sunlight and that would make it better.

I was born on July 24th at 4:23p.m. I weighed in at four pounds 13 ounces. I was 18.5 inches long.
My mommy went to the hospital at 8ish Sunday night and was dilated to 2 cm and was 60% effaced. They rechecked her in an hour and she was almost 3 centimeters. They gave my mommy 2 shots of terbutaline to try to stop my birth....but no luck....I was ready!!! At 4:00a.m. she was dilated to 4cm. They had her sign the consents to stay and have me.
At 8:30 Monday morning Dr. Potter came in and broke my mommy's water for her. She got an epidural at 9:00. Mommy spent the rest of the day just waiting on me.
Mommy had me at 4:23p.m.
July 3rd 2006 32 WEEK CHECKUP
Today mommy had her 32 week checkup. Doctor Garcia did an ultrasound. I am 3 poun ds 13 ounces. I am MOST definately a girl! I would not let mommy and Doctor Garcia see my face.
Doctor Garcia wants to see my mommy every week now until I am born! That could be in 3 weeks! My mommy still gets progesterone shots every Monday for 2 more weeks. She doesn't like them...they leave welts! But mommy will do whatever it takes to be sure that I am healthy.
If I gain the "average" of half a pound a week; I will be 5 and a half pounds at 35 weeks. That is when Dr. Garcia says that if mommy goes into labor that they won't stop it. WOW! That is SOON!

29 WEEK CHECK UP
Today my mommy goes to see Doctor Garcia. I am 29 weeks! I am growing SOOO big!!! My mommy will make another story after she gets back.

My mommy ended up being on the labor and delivery floor at Jennie Edmundson today. I was being ornery and made her have a lot of contractions. The doctors gave mommy 2 shots of a drug called terbutaline. It made her heart beat really fast and she shook alot. They checked my mommy's cervix and it is still closed; which is good since I am not ready to be born yet. I am still way to little. Mommy takes terbutaline pills at home now. So that way I can grow more and be healthy.
Mommy's doctor is making her monitor her contractions at home with a special machine. That way they can give her medicine to keep me in. If I try to come again mommy will probably end up being on bed rest until I am grown enough. That would be another 11 weeks from now. That is a LONG time. I don't want mommy to have to do that.
April 13th 2006
My mommy went outside with my big sister and brother today...and got in the swimming pool. She wore a BIKINI...crazy woman!
My daddy and Alyssa felt me move today. And cousins Dakota and Dallas SAW me make mommy's belly dance. I'm a ballerina!
My First Trip!
Mommy, Daddy, Alyssa, Dante and of course myself, are going to be going to Las Vegas in 2 weeks! My mommy is going to buy a cool 4D ultrasound package of me! Yippee! I am going to be a movie star! We are going to see Mommy's daddy! He has a yard with a pool in it. I think my brother and sister will like it a lot.

Today mommy felt me wiggle! Yippee! I get my first trampoline before I am ever born. I really enjoy kicking and hitting her! She just takes it so well. I love you mommy! See you in 20 weeks!

Today my mommy went to see her doctor. He took pictures of me! And my mommy got her first shot of something called P17....to keep me from coming out too early. It made mommy's hip sore. She gets one a week.
I decided to let my mommy, daddy, and big sister Alyssa see if I am a boy or a girl today. I am a GIRL!! Mommy says she knew that all along. Mommy is very happy that I am a girl and daddy seems upset that I am not the second son he was looking forward to. That is not my fault!
I am number three!!!
On December 23rd, 2005 my mommy took a home pregnancy test. The test was a positive. Mommy and Daddy were kind of upset because they were not planning on having me so soon. But fear quickly faded to joy, as they realized that there was a tiny life in mommy's belly.
Mommy went to the doctor and found out that I was going to be comming in August. Mommy was excited because I will be her first summer baby. It will be nice to go out and not worry about cold weather.
My mommy wants me to be a girl and daddy wants me to be a boy. Only I know which I am.
