Saturday 2nd March
Adele's Hen Night
We had a lovely meal at the Emp restaurant and then we the the foundry for a few drinks. They had a few fun games and Joanne had made Adele a lovely memory book as they have known each other since childhood. We are going to the wedding dance on the 20th April which will be lovely. Joanne is chief bridesmaid and Cameron is a pageboy. Mum and Dad are going the whole day.
On Tuesday 26th March I went with Owen's nursery to poundland. It was financial learning week at school and as Owen will be starting primary one after the summer, some p1 teachers came too. P6 kids came too as they will be the p1 buddies. It was a long walk from the nursery but all the kids did very well.
Easter Holidays
We have had a great time, I only worked one day of the school hols which was great. We took the boys to the park a few times and to the rainbow castle too which they enjoyed. Mum and I went to I/n shopping which was good, Dad looked after the boys. We went to J Foxes and I had a lovely steak with carmalised onion ciabatta with chips and salad. Mum had a salmon ciabatta.
I took Mum to the new French restaurant in the hols too which was lovely.
Saturday 17th November 2012
We left at 9.30am. Boys were looking forward to Nana and Dada looking after them. Went to toys r us first then to the g casino for lunch. We had steak with fried eggs, onion rings and chips. It was lovely. We then went Christmas shopping and had a latte before going to the hotel. Arrived at Doubletree at 4.45pm. Tried to use FaceTime but not connecting so phoned mum, dad and boys instead. Had a lovely meal at the Yu restaurant I had chilli squid then scallops with bean sprouts John had chicken and sweet corn soup and a chicken main course. 
Went to 2 bars for drinks then had a drink at the hotel. Sunday 18th November Fruit then cooked breakfast More Christmas shopping in morning then watched Skyfall in afternoon which was great. Swimming then steam room and sauna Meal at night I had creamed wild mushrooms on toasted brioche then king prawn with penne pesto pasta John had mushroom soup then lamb rogan josh 
Couple of drinks at hotel barMonday 19th November Fruit then cooked breakfast Went to Asda and got Santa paws Santa pups and Mickey Mouse Christmas DVDs for the boys Home by 12pm. Really enjoyed our weekend away but lovely to see boys again.
