5/29/07--We went to the Great Escape and this is the 2nd time Kenzie has gone. The first time she was 8 months old and didn't get to go on to much then but this time around she was a little dare devil for sure. Wanting to go on everything. She really enjoyed it.
4/25/07--Kenzie was so excited about Easter. This yr the easter bunny hid eggs in the house instead of outside cause of the weather. We also went to the circus with daddy and got to see lots of different things. She really enjoyed that specially the elephants and the dogs.
3/12/07--Kenzie is wanting the snow to go away so she can go outside. We all have cabin fever and it stinks.
2/7/07--She is excited about her party at school for valentine's day. They are going to be making some goodies for the parents to come for the party. She is doing great in daycare though learning so many different things.
1/4/07--Kenzie wanted to stay up to see the new year which we knew was not going to happen but we let her think she was going to. She spent the night with her nonie so mommy could go out.
12/8/06--Kenzie is all excited about cmas coming and can't wait. She is actual excited about cmas and wanting to see santa which is a real shock in itself, considering last year she would not go near him.
11/5/06--Well Halloween was a treat let me tell you. She had a lot of fun and would tell people with scary masks that she didn't like them--lol She don't hold back that is for sure. But she loved looking at all the lights and pumpkins and things like that. She was a little ladybug and was so cute. It was a beautiful warm night.
10/12/06--Kenzie did really well at Jerry's birthday party and didn't try to open his gifts, though she calls his presents her's. She has become such a big helper. Specially at night and first thing the a.m. when we are trying to get going. She loves her brother though. She is a great big sister.
9/20/06--Kenzie has become a little stinker. She thinks she is mother hen to Jerry. She is so cute, she calls him little nick names that we call him sometimes or says Brother or Son. Alot of the time she says "Hush up brother or son I am trying to hear Dora." And her new thing is my mommy works at Price Chopper and my daddy drives a coach bus.
8/19/06--Kenzie is now using the potty and in panties now. She has had some accidents but that is to be expected. She is really proud of herself and loves to wear undies. We are thrilled. I think she just didn't needed to be pushed. And most of her class now is all getting it so I also think that has alot to do with it. Seeing other kids. Most times she just goes and then tells us. She only wears a pull-up at nap time and a overnight diaper at night cause she still isn't dry all the time at night but other wise she is in undies.
7/14/06--Well Kenzie is now 3 and lets just say she is hitting the terrible 2's late. She has her own mind that is for sure. But she is still very smart. She can get sassy sometimes but she knows when we mean business for the most part. She is a big help around the house and can help herself to things in the fridge and freezer now.
6/15/06--Kenzie is being a great big sister. She loves Jerry so much. She loves to get in the play pen and play with him or get his bottle or bottles. Anything she can help with. But let him pull her hair and forget about it, she gets M-A-D!!! She also went to her first wedding which was her Uncle Leo's and Aunt Sonia's and man can that girl DANCE!! She was busting a groove. She was also very well behaved.
5/27/06--Kenzie is so funny. She says things right when you are going to say it or just knows when to insert certain sayings. I was driving and this guy honked not at us but around us and she yells "ALL RIGHT, HOLD ON" and another time when Fred was driving he made her drop something and she said "Damn It Fred". Grant it was a swear word but it could of been worst but it is just so funny.
4/1/06--Kenzie is doing great with swimming, jumping off the side of the pool and going under the water. She is learning so much at her school. She says somethings that you would never think she would know and they just surprise us. She is getting so big though, we can't believe she is almost 3.
3/3/06--Kenzie is so smart!!! Yes I know I am her mom, but she really is. She says all her ABC's, can count pass 10, knows colors & shapes, can count in spanish up to 7. She is learning what things start with the letters A right now. It is amazing. She just amazes us what she can come up with.
2/10/06--We went to go see Dora The Pirate Adventure on the 5th of this month. It was areally cute show and Kenzie LOVED it. I took a ton of pictures and posted a couple. We had great seats up in the balcony front row. We went with a friend of mine and her lil' boy as well.
1/29/06--Kenzie is now jumping off the edge of the pool by herself and loves to splash people. She is like a fish in water. Which is wonderful. She also counting in spanish and saying some spanish words thanks to Dora. And she is super excited cause next week she is going to see her with a friend of our's along with me and his mommy.
12/26/05--Kenzie got a ton of toys for Christmas. She loved it all, but next year will be better as she will be more into it. She got lots of books, some clothes, couple dvd's, new kitchen set, little hot rod car, lots of baby dolls and a crib. And a couple weeks ago she even got to meet DORA and Boots. She had sooooo much fun and was so excited. She went right up to her and didn't want to leave her. But what is funny she would not go up to Santa. Guess we know where her loyalty lays--lol.
12/3/05--Kenzie is all about her brother now. It is amazing what a couple weeks will do. She is a HUGE help with getting the things we need for him and always asking if we should change him. And she loves to hold and kiss him. She is also swimming by herself. She has floaties on and they are right there with her when she goes but she don't want to be held anymore. She is too big for that. She don't want anything to do with potty training anymore since the baby came which we figured would happen and so we are just waiting for her now. We ask her but she starts to get upset and we don't want that, so we have let her be for now, can't force her that is for sure.
11/20/05--Well Kenzie is finally warming up to the fact that her brother is not going anywhere. She has been holding him more and little more intrested but if you still ask her if Jerry is her brother she will tell you NO...But she has been really good though about having to share her mommy with him.
