Stories Monday, August 4, 2008 Hello Everyone! Tomorrow I leave to go on my first vacation. I'm going to California! Mommy is going to take lots of pictures while we're gone so check back after the 13th because that's when we get home! She uploaded some new ones today too! Mommy got me a fancy new "Bumbo" seat today and it's so much fun! I get to sit up like a big girl. It's bright green... you can see it in the picture off to the right there. Well, I think I'm going to make mommy take me for a walk now before it gets dark. I love being outside and looking at the leaves on the trees and listening to the birds. But right now daddy is mowing the lawn so I am just on my playmat while mommy updates the site. Hope everyone is having a good summer and wish me luck on my first plane ride!! Love, Madison Saturday, July 5, 2008 Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a great Independence Day! First off, mommy took me to the park in the morning and I got to meet some new friends. They were mostly older than me and spent all the time on the swings and slides but I got to watch and they came over to talk to me. I just played with mommy on the blanket in the grass. Then later me and the 'rents went to a little get together and I got to hear some fireworks but I couldn't see them! They didn't really scare me until the very end. I got to sit in my sweet new ride the other day and mommy took a picture:  Daddy helped me take it for a little spin around the house too. Click here to see the video! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend! Love, Madison Monday, June 23, 2008 Hello Everyone! I had my 2 month check up today. It was the first time seeing my new pediatrician Dr. Fox and I really like her. The office is nice and right down the road from us. Dr. Fox is very supportive of Mommy and Daddy's decision to go with a delayed vaccination schedule to keep me safe. I had one oral vaccine and one shot which took me by surprise but it didn't really hurt and I didn't put up too much of a fuss. I weigh 10 lbs 13 oz now (I was born at 7 lbs 11 oz). I'm also 23" long (I was born at 19.5"). Overall, Dr. Fox said that I am a normal, happy, healthy (and don't forget beautiful) baby! Oh yeah!! Wednesday, June 18, 2008 Hello Everyone! I just had to share the good news that I am going on my first vacation in August! I get to fly across the country with Mommy and Daddy to visit lots of family and friends in California. We are going August 5-13 and I am kind of nervous about flying since it will be my first time. I get to sit in Mommy or Daddy's lap the whole time. It will be nice to see Grandma Mickey and Great Aunt Gina again! I will be meeting so many new people at the same time. Sometimes meeting so many people is overwhelming so please don't be sad if I get fussy. I like my routine, ya know? I know a lot of you are reading this and I look forward to seeing you soon! Love, Madison Sunday, June 1, 2008 Wednesday, May 21, 2008 Hello Everyone! I had my 1 month check up this week and I now weigh 9 lbs 12 oz and I'm 20.75" long! I am still just a little bit jaundice but my blood work came back just fine on that. Dr. Howard says I am a good eater and gaining well. I am getting very strong and I can even lift my head and will even roll over when I am put on my tummy. I sleep in my own room now for about 10 hours every night but I do like to get up and eat at least once! I love to fall asleep listening to classical music. Everyone who meets me and my mommy tells her that I am such a pretty baby! Love, Madison  Friday, April 11, 2008 Hello World! Today is my birthday! I came into the lives of my mommy and daddy and everyone else at 12:41 a.m. today! The past 9 months I was nice and cozy with my mommy every second of the day. Today my daddy got to hold me for the first time and I got to look into his eyes. I recognized his voice right away! It has been a long journey into this new world but I am loving every second of it. I can't wait to leave the hospital and see my new home. I am so glad to be here and be healthy. Everyone I meet just can't stop looking at me and telling me how beautiful I am.
