08/07/09~ Well it's been about a year and a half since I've put a story on here so lets catch up real quick in as few words as possible. I'll expand on some later!
Mar 2008-We moved on base and daddy left for his 2nd deployment and we found out we were having a little boy due Aug 1st.
Apr 2008-We went home to the states for a few weeks to visit the family since we hadn't seen them since Jan of 2006, it was just mom and Maddi and she had a blast and got spoiled rotten! She did great on both the plane trips, but in between she started getting homesick and telling mommy that she wanted to be home in her home in England, it was too cute!
May 2008-She turned 4 with a party at the bowling alley and she had a blast, got so many toys and a nice shiny new bike and some skates that she loves to play with!
June 2008-It was a fairly quiet month, we had a baby shower for Ethan that month and just worked on getting the house cleaned and everything ready so we could relax in July before the baby was due.
July 2008-Obviously did not go as planned! Had a great 4th of July and then 3 days later little brother arrived! Maddi was great and stayed with a lot of mommy's friends that week but she got to visit Ethan and mommy in the hospital and she did very well. That month was spent not doing much, just at home relaxing. Besides the excitement of the baby we also had to take Maddi to the emergency room to get a bead out of her nose, that will be expanded on later!
Aug 2008- This month was a nice quiet month as well. Mainly just spent at home and the park getting ready to go back to work. Maddi was doing such a good job with Ethan! Also got to start getting ready for daddy to come home!
Sept 2008- Took a trip to London the day before daddy got back, then daddy got back and we got to spend time getting to know all of us as a brand new family of 4!
Oct 2008-Nothing much happened this month, we did family pictures and the kids matched as Superman and Supergirl for Halloween. Daddy went to the football game again.
Nov 2008-Spent this month getting ready for our trip to Germany in December. Had a nice big thanksgiving with some of mommy and daddies friends.
Dec 2008- Went to Germany for a week and had a great time in the snow and on a horse and buggy ride. She loved the snow and making her own little snow man! The kids had a great christmas as well. Was very cute to see their reactions to the toys and everything, Maddi did such a good job helping decorate when we got back from Germany.
Jan 2009-Not much going this month. Mommy found out she's going to be going to Romania in April for a few weeks. Mommy and Daddy went to see UFC 95 down in London.
Feb 2009-Took a trip out to Stonehenge one day, it didn't rain and it wasn't too cold, the kids did great on the ride down there as well!
Mar 2009-Mommy and Daddy went to see Sugarland and Maddi and Ethan had their first full night away from the both of them, they did great!
02/21/08~ Long time since we've put a story on here, we've just been pretty busy the last few months so some quick updates through the months:
July- It was our 4 year wedding anniversary.
August- Took a nice little trip to Iceland with some of our planes from here. Iceland is beautiful, but a little cold! It was only a week trip but I had a good time and got some good pictures too. Also found out I was getting promoted and needed to go to a 6 week class for that which I started toward the end of the month.
September-Finished my schooling at the end of the month, it was a nice break from work and I met a lot of great people while I was there. Madison and Bobby did pretty good when I was studying but they were definitely happy when the class was over and they had my undivided attention!
October-Bobby did not deploy this time. Got promoted at the beginning of the month, Bobby's birthday and Thelma's birthday too. We also attended a Halloween Party as Anthony and Cleopatra.
November- Mostly boring but we went to a friends for Thanksgiving dinner, Maddi loved it over there! On the 30th we found out we were pregnant again, big surprise to both of us!
December- First doctor's appt puts me at 6 wks with a due date of August 1st, 2008. Christmas was great, New Year's was quiet as Bobby worked that day and the next early. We also got offered a house on base so we're moving soon.
January- Bobby had training in the states for a few weeks, Maddi and I were just fine when he was gone. Maddi got Scarlet Fever the week he left so had a nice little rash the whole time he was gone but it went away right about the time he got home. Finished the paperwork for the house on base and set the move date for late Feb.
Now to February! It's been pretty quiet this month just messing around at home and getting ready to move. We got a few things for Maddi's room so we can put some of her furniture in the new baby's room when we move. She is doing so amazing, already telling me I'm having 5 baby girls and that she has 5 baby girls as well! :-) I'm finally feeling better and not so tired all the time which is a big plus! After we move we'll be going to Paris for a weekend just me and Bobby, Maddi will be staying with some friends and she loves it over there so she'll have a blast!
We might not have internet for a few days while we move but we'll be up and running as soon as we can! And don't forget Maddi and I are going to be home in April and can't wait to see everyone!
07/11/07~ Happy 4th of July to everyone! Being in the military has definitely changed how we look at the world. We had a good time at the fair that was thrown on one of the bases here. I'm sure the British didn't really appreciate our celebrating our independence from them but they were surprisingly nice about it!! Plus they get the day off too so everyone was happy.
Maddi had a great time on all of the rides, she went on them all at least 2-3 times, mostly by herself but Matt did go on some with her. She had no problems running around when it was raining at all and she got to spend all day with Matt so she was very happy!!
Mommy and Daddy both got new tattoos representing the baby girl on our arms, she's gonna have a big head when she grows up that's for sure! I got to have a day away on sunday, the girls and I went to London and bummed around all day and Maddi got to play with our friends little boys MG and MJ, she had a lot of fun and was ready for bed early, she's so cute when she comes to us saying she's tired and wants to go to bed! She's doing so good in school, learning new things every day! The teachers are starting to understand her pretty good and they have put her nap spot in front of the puzzles in case she's not tired so she will just sit there and do puzzles instead! She's getting very good at them. I'm trying to find some bigger puzzles that still aren't too big for her but not having much luck, guess I'll just have to shop around.
The next thing on the agenda will be gearing up for Bobby's next deployment and everything that goes with that. Maddi will most definitely know he's gone this time so we're trying to think of things that will lessen the impact for her, either way any time she gets in trouble from me she's gonna want him, so we'll just have to see how things go. I'm sure we'll be fine, we're both big strong girls and we can do anything!! :-)
Not much going on right now just trying to get out and enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice. Maddi has been able to go out and ride her trike a few times and she loves it, always wants to go outside and ride!! She's learning so many new things since she's been in the preschool room and her vocabulary is just expanding so much already!!(thanks daddy for the term buttface!) Summer is going to be over quick so just enjoying the time while we can!!
05/24/07 & 05/26/07~ It was Madison's 3rd birthday on the 24th, she is getting so big!! I can not believe that I have a 3 yr old!! She transittioned to the "Big Girl" room this week, the preschool room. She will now be in that room until she starts kindergarten! They have 3-5 yr olds in that room so hopefully she'll start to pick up a few more things in there.
We had her birthday party today and she had so much fun! We had about 7 kids here and they were all nice and loud!! We rented a bouncy castle and got her a lot of balloons that all flew away or got popped!!! She got a dog the other day, he is a 2 yr old boston terrier named Norbert, they have a lot of fun together. They love to chase each other around the yard and the house, they get each other so worn out it is great, we all sleep at night now!! She loved all of the presents she got and I know they will fill many hours over the coming years.
On a sad note we found out that Daddy could be leaving us again for a little while. We're sad but we've handled it before and we'll handle it again. We know we must be brave for daddy and keep things safe here at home. He'll be proud of us when he gets home, just like he was last time! We love you Daddy!!!
04/09/07~ Ok so I am so over having my baby girl sick!! She has been sick for almost a week so far and it is horrible!! We had to take her to the er twice and she got an iv one of those times. It was horrible!!! I let Bobby go home to get her some pullups incase she had an accident when the fluids got in her so he wasn't there when the did the iv, but I think I did pretty good...it hurt to have to hear her scream for us while I was holding her down, ugh!!! She has been slowly getting better and more like herself, she still has some episodes though and she likes to sleep more now...I wish she'd eat and drink more but I'm sure she doesn't want to get sick anymore.
I'm feeling a little better but I never had what she had, and I hope I don't get it!! Bobby got some of it so he hasn't been feeling good either so mommy gets to take care of everyone!!! But hopefully they will all be better soon...
04/04/07~ Well we have gotten strict on the potty training and she has not worn a diaper in almost a week. She has had very little accidents as well, since Saturday night she has not had one accident!!! (Those accidents were all on daddy's bean bag chair too, lol, poor daddy!!!) She is being such a big girl with this we are so thrilled, guess she just waited for mommy and daddy to get nice and tough on her, and she has done so good!!! Of course I'm sure the stickers and treats after don't hurt either!!
Maddi and mommy have a cold right now, we're both not feeling too well, except she gets to stay home from school and mommy gets stuck going to work! She's home with daddy today and tomorrow and if she doesn't drive him insane I know they will both have fun, if she ever stops "chokeing" that is. She's so cute, we asked her if she choked and she said yes(when she came to us with snot all over her hand this morning), so now when she going to be sick she says "choke again", but she seems to have picked up on going to the toilet to do her "choking", I'm not sure if they did that at school or not but she told me earlier she had to "choke again" and got off the couch, went to the bathroom and pointed at me to lift the toilet seat up, and she then "choked" into the toilet...kinda nasty but too cute too!!! This morning while she was on the potty and she had to cough I put one of her toy pans under her chin and she coughed into that, and then when she was wanting to do it again she pointed at the pan and said "cough again mommy". My little girl is growing up!!!
But I hope she feels better soon too, I hope I feel better too but her more important cause she look so miserable cute, she's nice and quiet though, and cuddly too!! Aww my poor baby girl!!!
03/24/07~ Nice quiet Saturday at home...we're attempting more potty training this weekend, one of these days she'll get it!! She is so gosh darn smart, the other day Bobby told her she can't say no anymore, so the next time he asked her something the would normally say no to what do you think she did?! She shook her head!! And when he told her not to do that either and he asked her something she gave him the look like, "you said I can't say no and I can't shake my head, what else am I supposed to do?!" She was not happy!! But it was too funny!
03/21/07~ Well it's been almost 5 months so I guess it's about time I added some kind of story on here!!! There has been lots going on as you can see by the pictures on here. So I'll try and go down the pages and get some stories on here...
After the last story put on we got real busy getting stuff together for Daddy to come home. We got her pumpkin done and she helped a lot, loved getting messy!! She had a lot of fun with Matt and Brandon on Halloween, her and Matt were Eeyore and Tigger and that was not planned at all but worked out to be very cute!!! After that we went on a little castle and beach trip, it was a little cloudy and cool but she loved it no less as you can all see.
After that we went and got her ears peirced!! She didn't like it too much but she was a trooper and of course the bribes mommy gave her helped some too!! We went to a co-workers house and spent Thanksgiving with about 5 other families, she got to play on a trampoline and loved it. After that we just waited for Daddy to come home!!
He got home save and sound like he was supposed to and Maddi did not run from him at all, she recognized him and ran right to him to give him a big hug and kiss!! We were both a little worried she'd freak out a bit but she did very well!! She did get upset a few times after he got home when he would leave to go do something and she couldn't see him but other than that she adjusted very well to having him back home. After that we got our annual family pictures done, she was a little cranky that day but we did get a few decent pictures, she however felt the need to hold a purple dinosaur the whole time! Christmas and New Year's went very well, she got a ton of toys and loved everything she got, we taped it this year instead of taking pictures so much so we don't have any pictures unfortunately this year. She stayed up to ring in the New Year with everyone we had over there and then she racked out hard core!!
Since then it has been work work work for all of us, we were able to go to Cambridge with her and Ariana last month, she loved the punt ride down the river to check out the colleges and bridges there but Ariana did not like it as much. She calmed down the second half of the trip though so that was good. We also took her to Dover Castle at the beginning of this month and she did very well on the ride down and back as well. She is definitely trying to make herself the boss of us if she can, little does she know we are not pushovers!!! Ok well mommy kind of is but daddy is not!
We try to get her outside as much as we can but the weather has been pretty chilly lately. We got some snow in January and we got a little more last night and she was able to see it this morning on the ride to school and was pretty excited by it. We are just waiting for Peta and Matt to get home now! They left in January to go visit family in the states and we are dying for their return, which I hear is soon, she has been bugging us about seeing Matt again and I can't wait to tell her he's home and they get to play together again!!

10/22/06~ Well we got Maddi's pumpkin yesterday. She wasn't feeling well and got sick a few times and she had a fever as well but she's doing better today. She tried to pick up a rather large pumpkin before settling on 2 miniature ones for herself and mommy got the big one! She now does not almost ever poop in her pull up for mommy at all! She tells mommy or just goes and does it herself, hooray for Miss Maddi!! She woke up this morning and decided to go potty before even waking mommy up, but mommy has that good hearing and she was able to help her out with her business...she also seems to remember things pretty well. When she was sick mommy told her the blankets were yucky and after they were washed she still called them yucky when she saw them cause she recognized them as the ones she got sick on. But she was happy when mommy said they were all clean!
Last week she spilt fingernail polish on the couch, I suppose every little girl has to do that at least once so it's good that she got hers out of the way early! And mommy got it pretty much all out, good job mommy! Mommy is working nights again for a few weeks, but that means she gets to spend lots of time with Matt whom she loves to death! They are so like brother and sister it is insane!

10/14/06~ Well looking back at the pictures on this page is helping me come up with some stories...and since it's been about a month and a half...this will probly be long!
She got a scratch from Cooper, on her left cheek, and when I gave her ice she just had to put it on her right cheek! Don't ask my why! We took Maddi, Matt and Brandon to Pirate Island one saturday and they had so much fun!! She loves Pirate Island, Tracy has taken her so many times she knew just where she was going when we got in there!! She's so smart! She loves to play with baby dolls and put things, including me, to sleep! I took her to a dinner with a few people from work and she was running around with the other kids, her shorts were slipping down, as always, and after I told her to pull them up, she proceeded to run with her hands holding her pants up, it was too cute!!
She loves kisses and cuddles and getting her picture taken so it's never a hardship to get her to take a picture with me, or the dog for that matter either, she always looks around for him if I try to take a picture of her so he can be in there too! She loves her fruits and vegetables still and is always eating them. We took her bowling for a going away and she loved it, such a strong girl too, she needed no help holding a 6 lb ball!!
She is very fearless when she's at the park and just has to try everything! I'm letting her pick out her clothes more now, structured of course, and what she comes up with is pretty funny at times, but she's expressing herself and while it might hurt the eyes a little she's not hurting anyone else!! She does prefer to either be without her shirt, pants or both at times. She can't possibly stay inside if she knows I'm taking the dog out so she will run and get her rain boots and follow us outside in whatever she is or isn't wearing! And she hardly ever allows me to do her hair anymore, booger! And she loves to help around the house too, growing up fast!
She got a boo boo a few weeks ago, it was her fault, she was running at daycare when she knows she's not supposed to and she tripped over her own feet and ended up falling into one of the shelfs that holds all the toys and games. She got a little scrape and a pretty big lip but was ok by the time I got there to pick her up 30 mins later. The lip was all better by monday and she scrape was gone by wednesday and there are no other affects of anything! She loves to try on my shoes and sunglasses and wear them around the house but what kid doesn't! She loves Daddy's Chicago Bears cup as well and just has to have milk in it a least twice a week!
She's doing pretty good sleeping in her "big girl" bed, she only gets out and wonders around on the weekends! Other than that she is too tired to do anything but go to bed! She loves big boys and girls and loves to play with them and follow them around. There was a squadron dinner last week and she was out of my hair with the older kids the whole time, it was nice to be able to eat in peace! She's doing better with her potty training as well. Just this morning she was telling me poopy which normally means that she has already gone potty and needs to be changed. So I changed her and there was nothing there....so I asked if she needed to go potty she jumped right off my bed and ran to the bathroom and proceeded to do her thing on the potty!! Normally I have to run her there when she's making "that" face, she's growing up! I'm so proud, she'll get this under control yet!!
10/06/06~ I've updated some pics and I'm trying to get some stories together as soon as I can, it's been pretty busy around here, and I finally got back on days so more time to spend with Madison. Yeah!
