December 13, 2007

Lilly Evelyn is HERE!!!

She entered the world by c-section at 7:18pm CST after 11 hours of labor, 3 weeks of contractions and 37 weeks of baking.

She weighs in at 6 pounds 15 ounces, she is 19 inches long.  She got 8/10 on her apgars and is nursing well.

The c-section wasnt planned but not an emergency, Audra is recovering and should be home sometime after Monday.

I have uploaded a few pictures of Miss Lilly.

Congrats to Audra, Chris and Maddie!!!

~Crissa

Ok really fast update, as my mom is in from out of town. Lilly Evelyn, is measuring 2 days ahead! She weighs 12.2 oz, and is 9.5 inches long! My placenta, is no longer marginal, but is still low lying. So, I will have a follow up scan @ 28 weeks. But, she fully expects the palcenta to move on up! Baby, and everything is measuring great. Oddly enough, I am measuring 2 weeks ahead!!! I gained 3 lbs, for a total of 5 for the pregnancy so far.  Will write more later.

Much Love,

August 17th, 2007

FINALLY a story, well a short one any way! So, today is our big day. We find out if we are adding more pink or shopping for blue! I am so excited. The sono is @ 12:30, and my 20 week appointment is @ 1. I may be a little later this evening on updating the site, as we are going shopping after the appointment, and my mom and brother are coming down to visit! I would think, I would have updated by 8ish! Send lots of open leg vibes, and cross your fingers that my placenta has moved up! At my 12 week scan, I had a marginal previa. Really praying that is moved up! Talk to yall soon!

Much Love

February 14 th, 2007

Happy Valentine's Day!

As usual I have not written a story in some time. We just had our week with the Meester's and that was a lot of fun! Madison just loved Elijah and Evan, she had so much fun. The house is sadly, much too quiet now that they have gone home! We took lots of photos, and I will get them all posted as quickly as possible!

So far February has turned out to be a rather eventful month here in Yeck land! First off our desktop, is not working my dear hubby it looks like will have to rebuild it! So there are many things that I can not access. I have a laptop so at least I can do a lot from it. There are some pictures on there that I really wanted to get on here and share with all of you, but those will have to wait I guess. The main ones were from our snow day two weeks ago. It was Maddie's first snow and she had so much fun! It wasn't much at all, but the little sweet heart had a blast!

In other events, last Thursday we were coming home from a super fun day and I had pulled into a parking lot and "bottomed out" pretty normal thing, with a car relatively low to the ground and a steeper drive way. Relatively normal I THOUGHT!  I would find out later the next morning, after having my car die and having to have it towed that; I busted the oil pan when I did this, lost ALL OF MY OIL, and the engine seized! So, I have my first insurance claim in my life. It will go down as I hit a stationary object and will be an at fault claim, but I am just happy it's covered since we got the estimate yesterday and the claim is for $5,985.99!!! INSANITY!

I guess that's about all for now. I will try to update more later. I hope that you all have a great Valentine's Day!

December 15th, 2006 Hey all. Ok, so I am just no good at writing stories for in here. We are all doing well here. Madison had her first case of strep throat, just before Thanksgiving, and ran fevers of 104 for several days. It was her first time being on antibiotics, she got over that just before Thanksgiving Day. Maddie is doing so well now and learning so many new things. She is in the process of learning her ABC?s and 123?s, she is saying please now, she has said Thank You for sometime, she has learned so many words, that it would take me a good portion of the morning to list them all. We went December 1st to the Dickens festival. It was very cold for us, but a lot of fun. Santa Claus and his wife were there, we were hoping Maddie would have changed her thoughts of him since last year, but she has not. The minute that she seen him, her head buried directly into my chest, she clung to me and began screaming ?NO NO NO? she refused to go near him. The jolly old guy left to take a break, and Maddie agreed to stand next to Mrs. Claus as long as I held her. So, unless we change our minds, we do not intend to take her to the mall to stand in line for 2 hours to see him, as I just do not think that she would go near him. Maybe next year she will like him a bit better. We had our first actual snow in sometime here in our little area of Texas, back at the end of November. It was not much, pretty much it was only a dusting but, it was enough to excite mommy hopefully we will at some point this winter get enough snow to play in, or at least we can dream! Mommy and daddy are both doing well. Daddy?s company Christmas party is this evening, so that should be a lot of fun. Hope you are all doing well, and enjoying this season. Will try to write more again soon. Hope you all have a great weekend! Love Ya?s Audra

Thursday

November 2, 2006

Hi all. Ok, so I am ultra bad at updating the stories over here. My apologies! So since it has been 2 months since I have updated, I will have a lot to say. First off, Madison ?s birthday was a lot of fun; she really enjoyed her presents, cake, and everyone that was here. She is hilarious now, if we say balloons, cake or party she gets really excited. My mom stayed here with us for the week after her party, and that was wonderful.

So, I guess that gets us through the exciting stuff in September and brings us to October. October was a very busy and for the most part fun month. We went to the new Wiggles Play Center, it was great fun for Madison, but a bit on the annoying side for mom and dad, just imagine multiple plasma TV?s all playing the Wiggles, and then their songs blaring (relatively loudly) over the intercom! So, I assume we will go back, as Maddie did enjoy it. We went to the Fair, this was Madison ?s first year going, and I think that she really enjoyed that. Not so much the rides, she is not keen on them yet, the carousel she likes, but aside from that, she has no interest. She did love the food; she ate almost her entire JUMBO corn dog, and loved the cotton candy! Other things for this month were, Chuck E Cheese, (her most favorite place ever) The pumpkin Patch, and of course Trick-or-Treating. She had a great time ?Candy Begging?, but this candy begging, I will tell you is not good on you, if you are doing weight watchers, Which we are. Chris has done wonderful, but I can?t keep my hand out of the candy bucket! ARGH!

So, I think that that rounds out most of the fun stuff for this month. Last week, our doggie (Rhiannon) was not acting right, so we took her into the vet, and I am so glad we did. She had what was called a Piometra, and had to have an emergency hysterectomy; we also found out that she has mammary cancer, so they took the mammary tumors out during the surgery. The vet said that ?usually? those tumors take 2 sometimes 3 years before they come back. He was optimistic and so are we. She is doing much better now, we actually have to remind her not to jump and to calm down, she is almost 12, and now that she has had all of this done, you definitely would not guess her to be that old.  I guess this will be it for this story, I will try to keep this section better updated!

12:45 am

Wow so here I am, one day before my "baby" turns two years old! Shocking. Where o where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday that I was in labor with her. don't get me wrong, I absolutely love seeing her grow and learn and seeing the awesome little person that she is show more and more with every day! She is really talking now! It really seems like she is learning at one a new word every day! She amazes me!  Then there is this part of me that gets so very sad when I think of how fast my baby has grown to an amazing little girl! I love every minute of being her mommy! We are finishing all the stuff for her party this week. We are all done shopping, just working on some favors and finishing touches for the party now.  We have lots of company coming in from out of town ,so that will be lots fun! We will be taking her Thursday to have her 2 year portraits made and then her 2 year check up is after that. So we have a pretty busy week ahead. Maddie seems so very excited about her birthday and her party, we ask her about it and she is like yeah ,yeah, yeah! It is so stinking cute! Chris is taking some of the many days off that he has left for the year. So he works tomorrow and then doesn't have to go back till Sunday evening! Which is great! My mom will be here Friday and will be staying  until the next Sunday! Yay! I love it! Ok, well I have a ton to do tomorrow so I suppose I should get to bed. I will try to write a story again very soon. Hope you all are well!

Sunday

August 27th, 2006

Hi and happy Sunday to all. Madison is taking a morning nap, she got up super early after going to bed late. So I thought while she was napping I would write a little update on us. So, my sore throat turned into much more than that! I had sinusitis and a severe double ear infection. Not a fun few days, but I am feeling much better now! On Friday night Maddie spiked a fever of 103 and was appearing very sick as well. We took her to an after hours urgent care clinic, and they couldn't find anything wrong with her, other than her temperature was still elevated. She has spiked fevers off and on all weekend, ranging any where from 99.9 to 102.5, She is a bit fussy at times, and has the occasional cough and sneeze. She did sleep through the night last night, thank goodness. Not sure what is going on with her, she doesn't act super bad, just the occasional crankiness. If she is still spiking tomorrow, we will get her in to her pediatrician. On the topic of pediatricians, we will be changing hers! We are changing due to his policy on after hours calls. He does not take them. he has a nurse answering service that takes them. I do not have a problem with that, my problem is with the fact that, it is a $15.00 charge to call them! RIDICULOUS! Like my child can decide when she is going to get sick! So, we will go ahead and see him for her two year well check, and then we will begin to search for a new pediatrician!

So today will be a day for Mommy to get caught up on all of her chores (O JOY), Maddie will play and hopefully feel better today, and  Daddy is at work until @ least 7pm.  Hope you all are having a nice weekend. Talk to you soon!

August 22, 2006 Ok, wow so it has been a very long time since I have written a story! Sorry about that! This summer has been so busy for us, or at least it has seemed busy! We have gone to Oklahoma several times this year to see family and friends there, and have just tried to do as much fun stuff with Maddie as possible this summer. It is great that we have so much day time to do things in, but about the only thing that is really enjoyable is swimming, swimming, and more swimming! Swimming is great and Maddie loves it, and that's good considering most of our days thus far this summer have been from 100 - 106! It's actually to the point where the pool water is almost not so refreshing, as we have just had so many scorcher days! We are hoping that we have less than a month left of this weather, but we are not holding our breath! So, enough about the weather!

Haaa Haaa! Maddie has changed so much since my last entry!! AS you all can tell by the theme she is turning two years old in less than a month! Wow, where o where did those 2 years go??? It?s amazing to see her grown and mature, and I love it, but it's very bitter sweet! My baby isn't a baby any more!! We are vigorously working on potty training now, she has gone pee in the potty several times now, and went poop for the first time on 8-7-2006, so on her 23 month birthday!! I was so excited! I don't think she is going to be hard to train at all! Let's see what else? Maddie has 16, not 18 teeth as I had put on the front page, sorry about that! She is learning more words every day, she is actually starting to get into her "Polly Parrott" stage, so we are going to have to start being super careful what we say around her! She is a Daddy's girl through and through, and I can also say, she is defiantly her father's child through and through! From laughing at farts and burps, to her silly little corny behavior! But, I love it!!!! She has her appointment for her two year check up on her birthday 9-7-2006, I am a little nervous about that, since it is the day I wanted her photos made on and only 2 days prior to her party, but she is only getting her hep-a shot, which she has had before, and did not have a reaction to, so I think that she will be fine!! Keeping my fingers crossed on that one!

As for Daddy and I, we are doing great. Right now Chris is getting over a cold and I have the sorest of sore throats, but we will be fine soon!! Ok, so I hope to keep this site better updated! So stay tuned.. Love Ya?s Audra

April 28th, 2006

Good Morning to all and HAPPY FRIDAY! So things here have been pretty good. .Maddie had low grade temp yesterday, and I think a little bit of the stomach flu. So I am really hoping she will be all better today!

This weekend we are going to Waco to meet up with some of the Mommies and babies froma parenting board that I have been on since I was pregnant, so it should be super fun! We leave this afternoon, as long as our little MAddie isnt really sick, then we will leave tomorrow super early.

We finally got a few days of a cool down in our weather so that is great! It was not cool that we have had several 100 degree days so soon! EWW!Well not to much to update today really. Have a great weekend!

Love,

  Mommy

 April 18th, 2006

Maddie is taking herself a nap so I thought I would write a little story for all. So Easter was just wonderful. We had my Mom in town and Chris's parents and brother and his family. It was a lot of fun lots of yummy food. We had a huge egg hunt for the kiddos and I was so surprised and proud of our little Maddie after about 2 eggs she picked write up on what she was supposed to do, you would have thought she had done it befor! She was so funny, not only was she piking them up and putting them in her basket, she also wanted to put as many under her chin as she could get! It was so funny! So after the hunt the kids got in Maddies little pool and really had a great time! Madison is a little fish, she just loves the water, as soon as the water warms up a little more then we can go swimming in Grandma and Grandpas pool, what fun that will be. Speaking of warming up....it should not be long till the water is plenty warm! It has been so so hot here! Easter day was 94, yesterday was 101 and today is forcast to be 102! It is so hot, we have been having rolling power outages, because all of the people running there air so much the power grids just can not keep up, we have been lucky enough so far that we have not lost our power and I pray we don't! So other than being very hot we are well, well now we are any way. Easter night Daddy got sick with a very bad stomach bug, but he is feeling all better today! So untill next time all of you have a great day!

Love,

Mommy

Tuesday April 11th 2006

So Maddie is asleep and Mommy has some time for a story. Wow can you believe she is 19 months old already? O how time flies! SO we have all been pretty good here. We have done lots of flower work, and have gotten most of our  flowers planted ! It is Spring for sure here! Its really green and everything is in full bloom! It's beautiful, already getting HOT! Highs in the 80's and 90's, but that's better than the 105 that summer is bound to bring! Maddie is doing just super, she learns sooo very fast! Her new thing is if you tell her she did something" very good" she holds her hands up high, and claps so loud for herself! It is just too cute! We took her to her first Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, it was fun because there was a petting zoo, the Easter Bunny, and lots of other neat things to do! The actual hunt was a bit , well just not to fun, there were a jillion 1 to 3yrd olds, and many of those had 5 adults each "helping" them, so we got 2 eggs, but HAY it was fun! We will have Easter at our home this year, and Grandma Bettye will be coming down Friday for the weekend! So this will be a fun fun weekend coming up! Hope you all are doing really well! Until next time , HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Happy St.patties Day to all!

Image hosting by Photobucket

So we are not so sure yet on how great our St.Patties will be. Maddie and I have both been sick since Tuesday night. Madison woke at 4 am with a 102.7 fever and screamed for a lot of that night. So we went to the Dr and they tested for strep, the flu, and did a cbc all tests were negatvie so they said her throat was very red and that was probably just a virus. We were told if she still had a fever Friday morning  of  101.4 or greater that we would need to bring her back, well when she went to bed tonight her fever was 101.4 , so she acted better today, I am hopeing when she wakes her fever will be gone! I have an apt for 10:15 I tihnk mine is a sinus infection, the good thing is her Ped and my dr are in the same building so if she has to go back thats more convienent. I have my dental surgery scheduled for 8:45 am Wednesday morning so I hope we are all healthy befor that. Other than our colds we are good. Our weather has cooled back off into the 50's and 60's and we have a chance for rain all weekend, but we need the rain very bad, so bring on the rain! Well hope you all have great days!

Irish hugs and kisses!

Love

Sunday March 11th 2006

Well it has been a VERY long time since I have added a story so sorry about that!     The holidays were wonderful for us. Daddy had some unused vacation time, so we got to see him a lot at Christmas which was great! In Feb Maddie had her very first tummy bug, that was no fun at all and she is so glad to be over that and hopefully will not have another one of those for a very long time! Maddie and Mommy spent a week in Oklahoma in Feb house sitting for our friends who were at Disney World!  Grandma Bettye came and stayed a week with us in Feb also while Daddy went to Vegas for a conference, we really enjoyed her visit! A few weeks ago we added Bella to our family. Bella is a 3 to4 year old kitty who a  very nice lady rescued and we were lucky enough  to get her. She is just a perfect little kitty and we are so happy she is ours! Madison just loves her, be sure to watch our videos section as there are videos of the two of them in there  together!  So we are all doing pretty well. Mommy will be having dental surgery soon, I will find out the date of the surgery on Tuesday so the site may experience a small time with no updates. I will post the date soon. But everything is pretty great here! The weather here is just wonderful, our highs for 2 weeks have been in the 70's and 80's! Madison of coarse LOVES that as it means she gets to play out side very often! Well that is all for now, but I promise to try to be better with adding updates on Maddie more often!

Love,Mommy

Tuesday, December 6th 2005

Madison here, I have while before nap time, so I figured I would write you all a story to update on how we have all been. First off, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving, most of Daddy's family and my Grandma Bettye and Uncle Chuck were all at Grandma and Grandpa Yecks and we had a wonderful time!  Grandma Bettye and Uncle Chuck stayed with us for 3 days and we really enjoyed that! We got a portable DVD player on Green Friday and I am really enjoying that, I get to watch Baby Einstein's every where we go, it's just great! The weather here has finally gotten colder! Mommy says if it stays cold we could get snow possibly, that sounds like fun, snow for me to play in!!!  We will be going soon and having our family portrait made, and I will go visit Santa soon, Mommy says she has a feeling I may not be so fond of him this year, I am in that stage you know, so we will have to see. Well it will be nap time soon, so I will talk to you all later.

Love,

Madison rayne
