MAX IS OFFICALLY POTTY TRAINED
We had several attempts over several months, but he just wasn't ready. Then he decided 2 saturdays ago that he was ready. He even makes it through the night!
We are so proud of him! All it took was him wanting to make Mommy happy :)
Max likes to ask you questions...but beware...if you say "I don't know" he'll tell you to
"figure it out then" if you counter with "no..you figure it out" he'll comeback with "well no you figure it out...you're the smart one" This is about the time I ask myself
why didn't we just stick to sign language?
Max has learned to take simple songs and turn them into "his" songs.
They are very cute songs of things that are going on in his life..such as
"Mommy...Mommy...
I'm riding in the back seat
I roll the window up...I roll the window down
You put my movie in the slot
see ya later..thanks alot
I sure love riding in Mommy's cadillac escalade
Okay so the last line doesn't flow like the tune of the rest of the song...but he's a car kid somethings you just can't change even if it doesn't rhyme!
Max is being a GREAT big brother to Ava. If she starts to cry..well wimper...he let's her know "it's okay Ava Marie..I'm right here" It's so cute!
Max is putting all of his words (and some of ours) together! Every day brings a new word or phrase. He is very smart! (I know..all parents say it...but I'm serious!)
Max has conversations with everyone! He loves to talk and occasionally has called family members with Mommy's cell phone! So if caller ID says it's me....beware...it could be Max!
Max is also learning the types of vehicles that everyone drives and can point them out on the road and on t.v. He's taking after his Daddy in so many ways. Some not so good, like crossing his arms across his chest when he's not hearing what he wants to hear!
Max has been snapping his fingers for about a month and a half! He has great rhythm!! He dances and sings along to everything! He climbs everything too!
Max has been singing alot of songs. Some from radio, commercials, and of course nursery rhymes. He even makes up his own.
Max is 42 inches tall and weighs 39 pounds!
