Hello everybody future daddy here. Thank you so much for your comments and loving support. This experience has been so awesome for me in so many ways already.
Two moments that literally changed my thought process in how I look at my life: 1st-"We are pregnant!"; 2nd-Seeing the live ultrasound!! These were two of the greatest moments in my life. The wonders continue with each development in our pregnancy. Holding my great niece Addison last weekend, was surreal in the fact that in a few months we will have a little infant in our care for the rest of our lives. I am so ecstatically happy.
Thank you Joy for loving me enough to even consider trying to have a child together. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with Alex and Teddy, 2 great kids, and you, me and baby all together. All my love.
Friends and family: We will keep you posted on updates regularly, sex of the baby will remain a surprise for us all.
09/20/07 - Went to the doctor today, 17 week check up. Everything is fine and she was able to pick up the heartbeat on the baby.
09/19/07 - Received the results from my amnio test and everything is perfect - no abnormalities :-)
09/11/07 - I am 16 weeks today!! I went for my amnio last Thursday, the 6th. It was not bad at all. They did an extensive ultrasound and took lots of pictures and measurements. Everything looks good and the baby is developing right on schedule. I will update the site with a few of the pics that I received last week later today. All is well here. John is still "glowing" and is very excited - I think he gets more excited with each doctors visit!! He is going to make a wonderful Dad :-)
08/23/07 - Went for my 13 week visit today. Everything looks good and is going well. Another ultrasound was done and we could see the baby moving a lot! I still cannot feel the movement because it is so small. On Sept. 6th at 9:00 am, I go for my Amniocentesis. We will not be finding out the sex of the baby - I want to be surprised :-) I am having some technical difficulties with my scanner at home, but once I get it fixed, I will be putting my 13 week ultrasound out on the web page.
Find 08/14/07 - Today I am 3 months! I am starting to show and will need to start wearing maternity clothes soon. I go back to the doctor on August 23th for a check up and then I go for an amnio on Sept. 6th. I am a little nervous about getting the amnio, but sure everything will be just fine. I will update the site with any additional information that I receive. I am still undecided about whether or not I want to find out the sex of the baby. Part of me does and part of me would prefer to be surprised.
July 26, 2007 - Today was my first visit to my ob/gyn. Lots of blood was drawn and an ultrasound was done (go to pictures to view my 9 week ultrasound). I measured at 9 weeks and one day :-) I go back for my next appointment on 08/23/07.
Hello Everyone,
On June 29, 2007, John and I found out we were pregnant. We could not be happier! On July 9th I went to my primary care provider and she confirmed - we are pregant and due February 27, 2008. My first appointment with my ob/gyn is July 26, 2007. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers for a healthy baby and a healthy Mom!
