Saturday November 1st - Wow, its been a long time since I left a story! Last night the kids and I went over to Sandy's house and we went Trick or Treating with Taylor and Michael. Sean was Spiderman and Miranda was a witch. At first the kids were kinda shy to go up to the doors but not long after they both were running up to the doors without me and talking to everyone. Sean was making conversation at every house. We even saw three dogs dressed up. After an hour the kids were getting tired and their buckets were full of Candy so we headed back home. Of course we had to test some of the candy when we got home.
This morning Papa came and picked up Sean to take him to a model train show. Miranda was mad that I didn't let her go but she's enjoying playing with her toys without Seans help :)
Saturday September 13th - This morning Miranda and I dropped Sean off at Papa's house and we went to Shear Madness with Aunt Stephanie and Grandma... girls day at the beauty parlor!! All four of us got our haircut. Miranda had so much fun and is hoping for a birthday party there.. they were setting up one as we finished so she was rather interested. Sean and Riley played all morning with Papa and didn't even miss the girls!! Afterwards we brought back McDonalds and we ate lunch together, poor Uncle Scott was at work :( Only a few more days till Uncle Ron and Aunt Bonnie come up for a visit, Miranda is really excited because she remembers how much fun it was to see Grandma's sister and now she gets to see Papa's brother. Both are the kids are very curios that there is other guy that looks just like papa, it should be fun.... :)
Thursday September 11th - Sean moved up to the big kids class this week. Miranda and Sean are both in Pre-School and Miranda will be graduating at the end of the school year!
Sunday August 31st - Last night Grandma and Papa picked the kids up for the night. They had dinner at the lake and spent the night at Grandma's house. Today we have been playing outside and working on the driveway, hopefully have it finished before the snow starts!!
Sunday August 17- Tonight we went to see the 6pm Balloon launch. Shortly after we arrived we ran into the Keep's. Miranda and Sean played with Maddie while we waited for the balloons to launch. The wind was blowing the wrong way so the balloons were blowing in Lewiston instead of over the waterfall. When we left we decided to follow one of the balloons, we chased it all the way till it landed in Lisbon. The kids had so much fun trying to keep an eye on the Balloon. It finally landed in the field next to a cow farm and a lot of other cars had stopped so we pulled over and got out for awhile and watched.
Saturday August 16 - Today we went to the Balloon Festival with Papa. First we sat on the bridge and watched the parade and then we went and rode the rides. Sean was scared at first to ride the rides so I went with him, after two rides with mommy and Miranda he was happy to go on the Tilt-A-Wheel with Papa!! Afterwards we went over to the festival and had lunch, walked around and played. The kids had so much fun but we didn't see any balloons.
08/16/08 Saturday- Last Sunday we went to Range Pond. Papa, Grandma, Riley, Scott and Stephanie all met us there. The kids had a blast playing in the water and at the playground. Afterwards the kids and I went to Grandma's house and Papa made us hamburgers.
The Great Falls Balloon Festival started yesterday so we went and watched the 6pm launch. The weather was great so they launched a lot of balloons, including one that was a dragon! Today we are going to watch the parade and play at the festival.
Thursday July 31st - The laptop that had all our vacation pictures overheated and no longer works so there will be a delay on adding the rest of the pictures. I promise to add them soon!!
Friday July 24th, 2008 - Last Saturday we loaded up and the car and headed off to Worthley Pond for Grandma's Birthday week. Papa rented a big house on the lake for everyone to spend the week. Heather, Phil, Jessica and Abby came up for a visit and we had a full house, five grandkids 4 and under! Each day Miranda, Sean and I went down to the beach to play. We went fishing, boating, swimming and just played in the sand. A few times it rained but it didn't stop us from playing in the water!! The kids were so mad to leave and can't wait to go back swimming!
Sunday June 1st - Well we have a full house now! Uncle Scott, Aunt Stephanie and Riley moved in with us on Thursday. The kids are having a blast with another kid in the house to play with. Friday night the kids and I went over to Will's house and the kids played with their friends Mason and Marlee. Saturday morning they slept till 9 which is the lastest they've ever slept :) It rained all day yesterday so Papa and Grandma came over here. Grandma helped with the laundry and watching the kids. Papa and Scott put in two outdoor water faucets for me.
May 21st - I've been taking swim lessons on Wednesday nights, so Grandma and Papa pick the kids up at school and play with them at the house. Today Grandma had some oral surgery so Papa picked the kids up by himself and went to Burger King for Dinner.
May 18th - Last weekend we got a truck load of mulch and mulched all of our gardens, the kids had so much fun! We borrowed Papa's truck and the kids played in the bed of the truck with all the mulch. They also helped load the wheelbarrow up with mulch.
Today we got a load of dirt and once again the kids had a blast playing in the back of Papa's truck in the jumbo size "Sand Box." We also went to Mardens and the kids helped me pick out a wheeping willow tree and we planted it in the front yard. It's so nice to finally get some outside time :) The kids are really good at staying in our yard and helping me with the yard work. Sean loves cutting the grass and Miranda picks pretty dandylions for Grandma.
April 13th - I have a few pictures, but I can't find the camera cord again :)
Almost all of the snow is melted! The kids played outside in the yard yesterday, most of the yard was flooded and muddy but we had a blast!
The kitty we are watching had her kittens two weeks ago. There is one orange one, one white one with black spots and one gray kitten. The kids love watching them and can't wait to hold them when they get bigger,
March 29th - Uncle Scott's new bed arrived today, Miranda and Sean were the first to test it out... but they didn't jump on it, we are saving that for Riley.
Miranda is babysitting a new cat for a few weeks. She's pregnant and we are fostering her from the animal shelter till she has her litter.
Sunday March 9th - Last Wednesady Sean had a stomach bug and passed it along to Miranda, then Grandma and Papa. Everyone is feeling better now, just in time for Riley to come back!! Sean misses his little buddy.
Sean worn underwear to school everyday this week. He still has a few accidents, but he is doing such a good job on the potty!!
This week has been warm (in the 40's) so some of our snow has melted, and now it's been raining the past two days. We still have atleast three feet of snow on the ground and probably won't see grass till the summer...
February 17th - Miranda seems to be feeling much better, still coughing though. Now I'm sick :( Luckaly the kids were pretty good today and we all took a nap. Miranda is mad at me though that I wouldn't let her go to Grandma's house tonight to see Riley!
February 15th 7:30PM - Miranda is still not feeling well, after three days of her medicine she is still running a fever so I called the doctor back and they sent her in to get a chest X-ray. We should know the results the beginning of the week. Miranda did a very good job getting her X-Ray and Grandma gave her a present when we went to pick up Sean. Sean seems to be feeling better, just a little grumpy since Miranda is getting all of the attention :) Tomorrow we are going to help Papa shovel some of his snow so mabe he can get out his backdoor.
I forgot to mention, the kids were weighed at the doctors on Wednesday - Sean weighs 31.6 pounds and little Miranda weighs 38 pounds!
