Sunday April 22nd - Today we met Will and his family at the Wildlife park. Miranda, Sean and Mason had a lot of fun running around and feeding the animals. Afterwards Miranda wanted to go see the water so we went and played at the waterfall for a little while.
Saturday 21st - Last Sunday it started raining and didn't stop till late Wednesday. There was a lot of flooding and damage in Maine but nothing happened to us, just got a little wet! Thursday the sun finally can back out and now it's in the 70's!
This morning we dropped some stuff off at Goodwill and then went shopping at Kmart. The kids got some swimsuits and beach toys. Afterwards we went over to Grandma's and played out in the back yard for a few hours while papa put his new grill together. Then we went for a ride to the dump and got some Ice Cream at Gifford's. Miranda wanted a choc cone so I got her a kiddie and I got Sean a baby cone. Well of course Miranda wanted Seans so he ended up with a rather large choc ice cream. He had lots of fun eating it and was covered by the time he was done. I'll post some pictures later. On the way back Papa had to stop at work so we ran around in the parking lot while we waited. Papa was going to make us some steak for dinner but by five the kids were getting tired so we headed home early.
Tomorrow we are going out in the morning to the Maine Wildlife Park. We are meeting my friend from work Will, his wife Robin and their two kids; Mason (Sean's age) and Marlee (5 months). It's going to be another nice day!
Sunday April 15th - Easter morning the kids woke up and found Easter baskets in their seats. Actually they weren't baskets, I got them both new lunchboxes for school so all their goodies were in there. A little later we went over to Grandma's and Grandpa's to play. After nap they went on an Easter egg hunt inside since it had snowed a couple of days before.
We had another snow storm this week, so much for Spring! It snowed through the afternoon and evening then the roads were fine in the morning. We are expecting another storm this afternoon.
Yesterday we went out in the morning to fill up on gas before the storm. Then we went to the pet store to see the animals and get a toy for Kitty. Afterwards we ate lunch at Burger King and made a big mess! Today we are just going to stay in the house and play. Hopefully the roads are too bad tomorrow so we can get out!

Saturday April 6th - March was a good month, it went by really fast. During the last week Uncle Scott, Aunt Stephanie and Riley came to Maine for a visit. The kids had so much fun playing with everyone. Riley has grown up so much! One day we even skipped school and work and went out shopping with them. Uncle Scott even helped me pick out a DVD player for the car!
Even though it's April and Spring time we just had our biggest snow storm on Wednesday night, over a foot of snow. Luckaly it was all over night so we were able to get out in the morning. It has again warmed up, but it will possibly snow again later this week!
Today Sean wasn't feeling well and was pulling on his ear alot so I took him to the doctors and he has an ear infection. After one dose he was already feeling better! After nap I took them to Home Depot to buy some plants for my office and for Papa's too. Then we went to work and helped Papa decorate. We just recently remodeled the office so everyone got moved around, and Papa even got a real office! I will have to take some pictures.
Tomorrow we are going to Grandma's house for Easter dinner! We would go outside for an Egg hunt but that's kinda hard in the snow!!
I have pictures to download but my connection is not very well at home, I will try to download some pictures at grandma's tomorrow!
Saturday 10th 12 PM - This morning the kids had a bath then we went to Burger King for Breakfast. After that it was shopping at BJ's then we came home and the kids helped me vaccum, mop and do the dishes! They sure are a lot of help! Now Im trying to get them to nap, but they are just playing with drums in their beds. Hopefully the nap so I can bring up the groceries without their help!
Saturday 3rd - Miranda had a special request for a new song...
* There was a Sean-Sean had a cousin and Riley was his name-o. R-I-L-E-Y
* There was a Miranda had an uncle and Scott was his name-o. S-C-O-T-T
The kids like singing in the car but the songs get old quickly so they love it when we change the words, specially if we are singing about them!
March 2nd Friday - Today I picked the kids up from school before nap time. It was snowing a lot and the daycare was closing early. We had a fun afternoon playing at home.
Miranda loves singing B-I-N-G-O so we came up with a few new versions..
* There was a grandma had a dog and MOOSE was his name-o. M-O-O-S-E
* There was a Miranda had a kitty and KITTY was her name-o. K-I-T-T-Y
So now she can spell Bingo, Moose and Kitty!
Feb 22nd - Miranda had a great birthday yesterday! Sean stayed home with Samatha since he wasn't feeling well and Miranda went to school. In the evening I took Sean to the doctor and Grandpa picked Miranda up from school. She ate dinner with Grandma and Grandpa then they brought her back over to our house.
Today Sean stayed a Grandma's house and he is feeling better. We ate dinner at Grandma's house and had birthday cake.
Sunday 18th 7PM - Everyone has a great time at the party this morning. The museum was full of amazing things for the kids to play with. Sean found a whole area with balls that he really enjoyed. Miranda was running all over the place with her friends. She had on a very pretty dress and behaved very well. It was hard getting the kids to sit down long enough for cake and ice cream. Miranda only opened one present then had to run back out and play some more. No one wanted to leave when the party was over but I could tell Miranda and Sean were worn out.
When we got home the kids decided they didn't need a nap so Miranda opened up all her presents. She got a lot of little princess dolls, art supplies, bath toys and more. I've added a few pictures Grandma took but I'll have mine to add later.
Sunday 18th - Today we woke up at 5:30, that's better then the last few days of waking up at 5am. TODAY IS MIRANDA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!! She is really excited, and so am I! We are going to the Children's Museum in Portland. Since it's early in the morning we actually have the museum to ourselves, just our party will be there. All the kids teachers are coming and most of the kids are coming. Miranda's best friend Wyatt could not make it though. Grandma and Grandpa are coming at 8:30 to pick us up! 2 1/2 hours more to go. I already have my camera all chargeg so I will take lots of pictures!
Saturday 17th - This morning Mirnada and I went to a Cheering competition to watch some of our friends and to see what Miranda thought of Cheering. Miranda had a blast! Our cheer center has classes starting at age 3. While we were there Sean was hanging out with Papa and they went to the dump together.
After lunch we went to Portland to shop. First we went to La-Z-Boy to get Grandma a couch. The kids liked it there since they had a toy area. Then we went to Bob's Discount Furniture and Grandma got a bed for her guest room so now Uncle Scott and Stephanie have a place to sleep when they visit. Miranda helped me pick out a couch and chair for our family room, the should be here tuesday! Then we went to Denny's for dinner.
It sure was a long day but everyone had lots of fun!
Thursday 15th - Yesterday it snowed 15 inches, so we stayed home and played around the house. Today the kids went back to school and had a Valentine's Party.
Thursday 8th - Last night after school Miranda told me that she didn't want to go home, she wanted to see Grandma and Papa. So we went over for Dinner and played for awhile.
Miranda is really excited about her birthday and birthday party coming up. She has been telling everyone about it!
1 more week till Valentines Day
2 more weeks till Miranda turns 3
7 more weeks till Riley comes!
February Sunday 4th - This weekend was a lot of fun. Saturday we went to Grandma and Papas house. We brought over breakfast and fed Moose lots of donuts! While I did laundry the kids played with Moose and their toys. Papa took the kids outside and played in the snow (it snowed a few inches over night). When the kids were napping Papa and I brought over fish tank to our new house and set it up.
Today we went to Wal-Mart early in the morning and then we went to the Pet store. We spent almost an hour in the store petting kitties and watching the bunnies. We also go some more fish for our fish tank. The kids are happy to have the fish back in our house. Finally almost everything has been brought over from Grandma's house. I still have a few things to buy but it really feels like home and the kids really love it in their new house.
Miranda has been making some plans for her 3rd birthday. I can't believe just two more weeks!
Riley is coming next month for a visit! And of course Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Scott are coming too!! We can't wait to see them again, Miranda is always talking about Riley.
Monday 29th - Last week we adopted a 1 year old cat. Her name is Kitty Cat! She is very friendly and is not afraid of the kids. Sean likes to follow her around the house and play. Miranda is also excited because Kitty already slept on Miranda's bed one night.
We had a nice weekend. Saturday we went grocery shopping and Grandma came over for lunch. Papa was in Missouri and Ohio for the week so we didn't get to see him. But we heard that Riley had dinner with Papa.
It has been VERY cold lately but it doesn't bother the kids too much.
Wednesday 17th - Sorry it's been sooo long since I updated the site, we do not have internet at the house. Miranda and Sean are both doing very well. It snowed LOTS on monday and we have been playing in it everyday since.
On Saturday (13th) Papa put together a twin size bed for Miranda and then we went and got her a mattress. She loves her new bed and likes being a "big" girl. And she also likes that Sean can't get on the bed!
Sean has been talking a lot more, he list of words is getting really long.
Sunday 7th - This morning we went over to Grandma's house to do laundry. Later this afternoon we are going to Big Lots to get something special for Riley!!
Saturday 6th - Today Grandma came over
since Papa is in Alabama! We went
shopping at Wal-Mart and got lots of
goodies. I have been slowing making our
place look more like home. Miranda has a
twin bed sitting in her room that I need to
put together, the kids like playing on the
box, but it will be better as a bed! Once I
get that up then we are going to hang up
posters and shelves in their room.
Thursday 4th - Tonight we went to Grandma and Papa's house for my Birthday. The kids had a lot of fun and really enjoyed my cake!
