6-5-07 Ayden went to the doctor today. He weighs 19 lbs 9 oz and is 27 inches long. At 6 months he is wearing 12 month clothes. He has gottens so big he is sitting up all on his own now. He doesn't seem to have much interest in crawling but he loves standing up. He may never crawl but that is ok, some babies don't. He can eat with a spoon but for now still prefers his bottle. He does not really use a pacifier because he prefers chewing to sucking. He has one tooth and a few more on the way. Looking back at his only pictures is like night and day, he has grown up so much!
4-16-2007 Ayden is flipping huge! I cannot believe how big he has gotten. He is sitting up and rolling over now. He weighs 16 pounds ans is 25 inches long. We are starting to spoon train him too. Time has just flown by it is amazing!
3-3-2007 Three months old today!!! Can you believe it. He is just getting so big. Yesterday was his first day in an exersaucer and he sat on the bed in the boppy pillow. He is amazing me at how fast he is doing things. He likes climbing up people and grabbing anything he can and shoving it in his mouth!! We think that he is starting to cut teeth and we are about to start feeding him a bit of cereal with his formula, especially at night. Things are going great!
3-2-2007 Still no job yet! If anybody hears of something, please let me know, I am getting desperate. Ayden is a big boy now. We went to the cardiologist a little over a week ago just to get him checked out...don't worry everything was perfectly fine. He weighed 12 pounds 12 ounces and was 24 inches long. His is going through another growth spurt and probably now weighs about 14 pounds. He is sleeping through the night pretty consistantly now. He will sleep for up to ten hours at a time, which is great because I still ge time to take a bath and read after he goes to bed without waking up exhausted. He has done projectile poop twice since my last post. Yeah!! GROSS!!! Now I give him at least ten minutes extra to finish, just in case. Things are going well as a whole. I wish I had a job by now. The house market is great right now and i would love to take advantage of it!
2-16-07 Today Ayden did one of the grossest things EVER!!!!! I could tell that he was pooping so i waited until i THOUGHT he was done. I opened his diaper and..........he projectile pooped on the wall!! It was so gross!!! It got all over EVERYTHING!!! Still no job yet!! I am hopeful. I should be hearing back from someone within a week!! I will let you all know!
We went to the doctor February 6th. Ayden is now 22 1/2 inches long and 11 lbs 10oz. He is growing so fast. The poor guy had to get 4 shots. Now that we are not spplimenting with formula anymore, the doctor had us get vitamins. HE HATES THEM! I will have to mix them into his milk because he screamed and screamed and screamed after i gave them to him. They taste awful. I have a bad cold. Hopefully i will not give it to him. I am loaded up on drugs. I took several types of Zycam and multi-symptom cold medicine. I feel better today than i did yesterday, but i slept awful. Ayden did not wake me up once, but i was still up several times unable to breathe. My throat hurts and I am grumpy, so watch out...just kidding. Things seem to get better, than something else happens. Breastfeeding problems, then colic, then awful gas, then thrush, now a cold. Hopefully i get a reprieve soon. He is a good little boy, but things have been going crazy. Hopefully it will fall into place soon!!!
Ayden sat on Jeremiah's lap so sweetly. Jeremiah loved it!!! They were so cute. Everything Ayden did Jeremiah did and Visa Versa. They played next to eachother on the floor. Jeremiah watched him and smiled. Jeremiah is a great older cousin. They are so sweet together!
Ayden is quite literally the perfect baby. We went to the doctor and he is in the 50th percentile for weight, length, and head circumferance. He weighs 9 pounds 3 ounces, that is almost 2 pounds more than he weighed when we came home from the hospital. He is 21 and 1/2 inches, an inch and a half more than when he was born. He still looks thin compared to the babies i am used to seeing, though the babies i am used to seeing are pretty fat. LOL!
Ayden is a month old today!!! YAY! He is getting over a cold and is sleeping better. His next doctors visit is tommorrow. We will see how much weight he gained. When we went to the doctor a week after he was born he weighed 7 lb 4oz. He eats like a fiend and will probably have gained quite a bit of weight!!
Ayden is getting to be so big...well compared to what he was. He was drowning in his onsies a few weeks ago, now he is filling them out pretty well. He baptized himself today. I was changing his diaper and looked away for just a second when i was grabbing a new diaper. I put it on and covered him up. When i reached to pick him up i noticed that his face was wet. He had peed all over his head, poor guy. I had to laugh.
We went on our first walk today. He seemed to really like it. He is sleeping a little better, for about 3 hours at a time, which is a lot better than less than 2. We figured out that he likes noise so we leave his radio on at night. We are looking forward to Christmas. I have hardly been out of the house so it will be nice to be out and see people. I will probably exhaust myself, but it will be worth it to see family and friends. Merry Christmas to everyone!
Ayden is still having a hard time sleeping at night. If I hold him or have him in bed next to me he sleeps great, but he does not do so well in his own bed. In less than two weeks I am already only five pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. I am not able to wear my "skinny day" jeans but I can wear my "fat day" jeans and my t-shirts. My incision still hurts a little, but I feel almost back to normal other than the fact that I am not sleeping so well.
Ayden is finally home with us. He is having a hard time sleeping at night. He is doing great though. He is very strong and can already hold up his head for the most part. He burps and toots a lot and it makes him a little cranky sometimes. Matt is a great dad. If i can't calm Ayden down, he sure can. Ayden loves his daddy and looks so much like him. I tried telling Matt that he is not allowed to be as cute as Ayden, but he doesn't listen!!!! LOL!! A week has gone by in a blink of an eye. I am scared that if i blink again he will be askin me for the car keys. He is not allowed to go out for a few weeks still because it is flu and cold season, but i can't wait to show him off, i mean show him to all of you!!!! ;-) He makes me so proud. I can't wait to teach him everything he needs to know!
12-3-2006--Ayden Scott Meyer is born at 6:46pm today. He weighs 7lbs 14oz, and is 20inches long. He has his mommy's nose and his daddy's ears. He is a beautiful shade of pink and is very cute. He was a little sideways, so mommy wasn't dialating quickly enough after her water was broken, so the doctor performed a C-section. Everybody is so happy to see him!
Aydens favorite pastime right now is to kick mommy in the ribs, hips, and bladder. My measurements are weeks ahead meaning, he is a big boy. If he is like his daddy he will come out half grown and very hungry!!!
