I posted more pictures! Check them out and you will see the new member of mine and Jaynies family... my best guy friend Lucas. We have known each other for almost a decade and have always had a special bond. After all of this time, we have fallen inlove. We are getting married March 28th and he will be adopting Jaynie. We couldn't be happier. Jaynie and Lucas absolutely ADORE each other! He is amazing with her and it makes my heart happy to see the way they are with each other. I absolutely love him and have never been happier!!!
Wow! Thanksgiving is in a couple days and Christmas will be here soon! Its been such a wonderful year and Jaynie has grow SO much! We took some holiday pics the other day and I posted some in a new album! Take a look!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We had so much fun halloween night! She dressed up as a Steerlers Cheerleader and did such a good job trick or treating. Mommy got tired out first and took her home... she would have gone to every house if I let her. We went to a party at Uncle Scotts house and had a great time, aside from the fact that she got scared at EVERY scary mask. It was a great halloween!
As of her 18 month checkup, Jaynie is 23 lbs 2oz (25-50%) and 31.5 in long (25-50%). She has a whopper of a head at 19 in and its in the 95%!!! My little peanut is getting big!
We are all ready for halloween! Jaynie is going to be a ladybug at school and a steelers cheerleader for trick or treating that night! We can't wait!!! We got her trick or treating bucket last night and she wouldn't put that thing down until we went to bed! Its going to be so much fun this year!
Due to an insurance screw up, Jaynie just now got her 15 month check up done. She only got one shot but had to get blood drawn to check the lead in her as a standard procedure for her insurance. Everything was great and the doctor commented on how she talks to much lol. She is 31.5 in long and weighs 22 lbs! Still on the petite side! I couldn't get accurate percentages cause they were based on a 15 month old. They will be accurate when we go for her 18 month checkup at the end of next month.
I wish I could record every new thing she says and does so everyone can hear it/see it! Yesterday at work, she said one of her teachers names (Gail) and when the teacher got so happy and said "Love you, Jaynie" Jaynie said "Love you!". She was talking on her playphone to papa the other day (my dad) and was saying "Yeah... yeah... yeah..." Then out of the blue said "Bye bye papa!". Her first time putting words together! I was teaching her how to high five and she was doing it so gently... so I said "No like this Jaynie!" and took her hand and high fived my hand real hard while I whispered the word "Kapow!". Well next time I asked her to high five me she whispered the word "Kapow!" when she did it! She just cracks me up on a daily basis!
My big girl has twelve teeth now!!! I cannot believe it! As soon as her insurance starts up again (long story) I will be taking her to her first dentist appointment! She is walking EVERYWHERE now and it still amazes me to see it! She is saying at least one new word a day and just amazes me with the things she comes up with. She loves to play dress up and is always trying on shoes and putting bracelets on. Today while at school, we had a thunderstorm. Her teacher was talking to the kids about thunder and lightning and pointing out the window. When I came in to pick her up, her teacher showed me what she had learned. She asked Jaynie "What do thunder and lightning do?" and Jaynie went to the window and pointed out and then "flashed" her hands and said "BOOM BOOM!". I loved it! It was so sweet!!! I just love this stage and have such an amazing time with her!
Its so funny that she did things so backwards but I am proud just the same! As of last monday she started offcially walking. Today, for the first time, I witnessed her standing up by herself. She usually would crawl to something, pull up, then walk. About four times so far today she has been in the middle of the floor and has stood up and just started walking. I'm telling you I have never been more proud!
New pictures added! Go look! BTW she had two molars pop through so she has 6 teeth now! She is also standing up on her own and taking a few steps occasionally... getting close to walking!!!
She will be 14 mths old on tuesday! She has four teeth and is saying so many words!! She just started saying "thank you", "Papa" for grandpa, and "baby". I am so proud of her!!!
Welcome to the world Ethan Craig King! My best friend had her son yesterday (4/16/08) at 3:16pm and he came in at 6lbs 6oz and 19 3/4 in long! He is beautiful and oh so healthy (esepcially for being early at 36.5 weeks!). I got to be in the room for everything and it was so amazing!!! Mommy and Daddy are doing great and did such an amazing job!!!
