1.24.10: I LOST MY FIRST TOOTH!!! I have 3 teeth that are pretty wobbly and have been for a while now. One tooth in particular was so loose it was just leaning up against the other one. My Dad pulled it out for me and I didn’t cry and it didn’t bleed. I was so excited about putting it under my pillow, I’ve heard all about the tooth fairy. I also have a new smile now, check  me out.

*Update: I got $5.00 from the tooth fairy and that is awesome. I put it in my bank so I can save it.

1.18.10: Today is Martin Luther King’s Birthday and that is a day off for my mom and dad and a Ms. Michelle is closed. Instead of just sitting around the house enjoying the day off Mom took me into the city. I wasn’t sure what we were going to do but she thought it was a good idea.

A few days prior to today we went to Wal-Mart and purchased a lot of mini blankets, and other toiletries. She said we got them for people who don’t have any place to live and they don’t have of these items.

We get into the City (DC) and park our car and meet up with a group of other people. We walked around the popular parks and metro stations until we saw homeless people. For each person we saw we gave them a blank and a baggie full of other stuff like toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and other things we use in the morning when getting dressed. The weather was nice so Mommy let me run around a little too. After all of our good deeds my mom took me to Baskin & Robbins to treat me for all my hard work.

1.2010: January was a busy month for me. I started taking swim lessons twice a week. I also started Judo class once a week. I am very excited about both of my new activities and I am doing very well in them. My swim class goes until the end of the month and my parents will put me in another so I can continue to learn. Judo goes for 2 months; I’m not sure what will happen after that.

My swimming teacher’s name is Mr. Brian and he is really nice to us. There about 6 of us in my class and we are all ages 5 to 6 years old. Our first lesson was how to blow bubbles in the water. This is the method they use to teach us to hold our breath. My judo teacher’s name is Mr. Steve and he is really nice to us as well. The ages in my class very but we all learn together and that is really fun. Mr. Steve said we can’t teach anyone judo, if they want to learn we have to bring them to class.

12.20.09: BLIZZARD of 2009!!! This is the absolute most snow that I’ve seen before in my life. I’m so excited I could even help myself. It snowed for 2 days non stop, we got about 20 inches of snow. WOW!!!! All the schooles were closed and my parent’s job was also closed. They made me wait a couple of days before they let me go out and play. HOWEVER when I got out there I had so much fun. The snow came up above my knees. Hahahaha HOW COOL IS THAT?

11.15.09: This is day II of my birthday celebration. My parents had a surprise in store for me. We went to meet the characters of Sesame Street during their 40th Anniversary. The characters were on stage talking about their experience being on the show. After that they let the characters speak and the kids could ask questions. Following the Q&A phase we got in line to take a picture with the puppets and the puppeteers. I also got a really cool book about the history of the show.

11.14.09: Today is my 5th Birthday Party!!! The theme is G-Force, you know just like the movie. I love secert agents so that is a perfect theme for me. My parents invited a lot of family and friends to come over and celebrate with me. For entertainment I had a magician, he was really cool and everyone thought he was funny. He made me apart of the show but I didn’t really like it. At one point I began to cry, I was just over whelmed I guess. The really really cool part of the show is that he made 2 white doves magically appear. We were all shocked but it was so cool. My parents even participated in the show and so did a few other kids. After that we had pizza and played around with balloons. After major play time we had cake and ice cream. Lets talk about my cake for a minute. Aunt Jackie made it for me and she made it match my G-Force theme and it was identical to my birthday invitations. This was by far the BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY. I’ve been looking forward to turn 5 for two years now and I can’t believe its almost here. I will remember this birthday forever.

9.25.09: SLEEPOVER!!! Tonight my cousins came over for a sleepover at my house. I’ve been looking forward to this for a really long time. Tonight Jasmine, Kameryn and Kiah came over. We ate pizza and played the Wii until it was bed time. Mommy put a movie on for us to watch until we fell asleep. It was really cool because we all camped out in the basement. The next morning Mommy made us breakfast and we showered and got ready. The original plan was to go to the farm but the rain messed that up. Instead we went bowling, which was a lot of fun. After that we had lunch at Great American which is my new favorite place by the way. Than the girls all went home.

I had a good time; I’m already bugging my mom about doing it again.

7.8.09: It’s vacation time well partially stay-cation as we just purchased our first home. We got some things in order at home and then we took a road trip to Williamsburg, VA. We shopped, ate well and went to Water Country USA. This is where the real fun took place. It was great; they are very family oriented so I could pretty much do everything my parents could do. Since its all water we didn’t really get to take a lot of pictures but we had a good time. We got there nice and early and 8 hours late we called it a day. Towards the end, I tripped and fell in my flip flops and cut my elbow to the white meat. The staff bandaged me up, I shed some tears and then I got back on the water rides. The next day we found a little Kiddie park, it had a kiddie coaster, go karts, bumper boats, bumper cars and train rides. I got on all of them while Mommy snapped my picture. The little coaster was rough for kids but I was a trooper and I got on with my Dad.

5.24.09: Today my parents and I decided to take a break from moving to take in my first Professional Baseball game. This is also the first time any of us have gone to the new National’s Stadium. Instead of driving we simply walked to the metro, this new house is working out already.  The game was the National’s vs. Oriole’s (Battle of the Beltway); at least that’s what they say. I don’t even know what the beltway is. It was really crowded but really cool, once we entered the gate they gave all of us a free t-shirt. We move about to find our seats but still taking it all in. We get to our seats and immediately I’m over it. I had some peanuts and once they were gone I was ready to go. We decided to check out the rest of the stadium, they have a kids playground which I had a really good time in. Next to that they have a video game room, we didn’t go in there but it looked nice.

Here is where it gets AWESOME!!! After the game we walk down to the lower seats. Little kids are out there begging for game balls and such. Instead they tossed the ball to me. HOW COOL IS THAT? I got a game ball. It gets better kids under 12 get to run the bases. We went out side got in line came in center field and I ran the bases while my mom snapped my picture. This was the coolest baseball game ever.

5.21.09: There hasn't been much going on in my little world until now. Today is the start of a new life for my parents and I. While I was at Ms. Michelle's house my parents purchased their first home for us. We are excited to move out of our tiny 1 bedroom+ den apartment to a 3 level town home with a garage.  I am looking forward to spending a lot of time at the playground and the pool located in our new neighborhood. I know my parents and I will make a ton of memories in our new home.

3.21.09: Today a new family friend took my family to the circus. This was my first time going to the circus and I was ecstatic. We drove to the city and parked, the circus was in the Verizon Center. We are on the 4 th row from the floor NICE & CLOSE. The place had lights, decorations, clowns and all kinds of things to capture your attention. I saw elephants, pony's, horses, tigers, dogs clowns, people flipping on ropes, hanging from cloth, motorcyles, you name it we saw it. I got some popcorn and a really cool toy. It spins around really fast, has an elephant on the top and lights up. I must say the circus was incredible I can't wait to come back again.

2.14.09: Happy Valentine's Day!!! This evening my parents and I went out on a date. We went to a place called Color Me Mine in the city. We went there to paint pottery. When you get there they have a wall of pottery. You look around and you pick out the item you want to paint. Mommy & Daddy picked out bowls and I picked out a tile that goes in a frame. They explain how it works and then you start picking out your paint colors. Before you know it you are knee deep into your project and all your creative juices are flowing. We had just an incredible time. We were looking forward to it but didn't realize how much fun it would really be. We finished our masterpieces and had to leave them there. We go back in a week to pick up our final project. They fire and glaze them for you and then you take them home.

2.8.09: Today I took Mommy on a hike in the woods. First Granddad and I went into the woods and picked out sticks. I even got a really big one for Mommy. She is afraid of a lot of things so she needs a really big one. After our returned I convinced her to go on a hike in the woods with me. Granddad takes Kameryn and I back there all the time so I knew the way. I grabbed Mommy's hand and held it the entire way. I told which was to go until we reached the stream of water. I really just wanted to toss rocks into the water. The weather was warm and this was perfect. While back there I threw rocks and Mommy and I took pictures to capture our moment. I was so proud of Mommy I never thought she would trust a 4 year old to take her into the woods.
