Feb 4, 06 ~ 33 weeks and 4 days. NST test at Sequoia. Both babies are doing well. Melanie is put on "modified bed rest" to prevent increased blood pressure. "Modified bed rest" means she should stay horizontal on the sofa or in bed most of the time. No chores such as laundry or shopping. But she can still get up to shower, eat, and go to doctor appointments.
Feb 1, 06 ~ 33 weeks and 1 day: Ultrasound. Both babies are growing and doing well. There are over 9 pounds of babies in there! No wonder I'm so uncomfortable.
A is estimated at 4 pounds 12 ounces (41st%) and B is estimated at 4 pounds 7 ounces (34th%). Cervix is still measuring long and strong. Both babies are still head down. Fluid and membrane appear equal and good.
Remember: These measurements have a larger margin of error the further along the pregnancy. Last visit, A appears to have slower growth. This visit, B appears to have slowed down.
Jan. 27, 06 ~ 32 weeks and 3 days: "Non Stress Test" at Sequoia Hospital. The babies heartbeats are monitored for reactions to movement and contractions.
Jan 17, 06 ~ The 2 baby car seats were installed today in the back seat of the Oldsmobile and checked by the Belmont Police Dept. for safety. Our car seats are usable with our double stroller to make it easy. The stroller just barely fits in the trunk!

Jan 4, 06 ~ 29 weeks ultrasound appointment. Both babies are head down. Baby A is measuring 3 pounds 1 ounce and Baby B is measuring 3 pounds 4 ounces.
About Clothing: We have plenty of preemie and 0-3 month clothing. We welcome clothing sized 3 months and up.
A kind request to try NOT to buy identical outfits. Coordinated outfits or mix/match are great. The books and experts recommend dressing them differently to encourage individuality. This helps to remind everyone that they are two people, not just "the twins". Also, it's alot less confusing!
