Jon, We have just received word of your new son's birth and the devastating loss of your precious Katie. We are friends of Katie's parents and were with them in Denver when Katie was born in 1979. Our hearts are so sad, and we grieve with you, your family, and the Wise family. I work with Katie's father, Bill. I have known Bill for 8 years and respect him highly. I am sure Katie was very much like her father . . . caring and concerned for others. I cannot imagine the pain and sorrow that you and your family are going through, but I do know for sure that families can be together forever. Jon, We are deeply saddened by the news. Although we did not know Katie, we could see by your beautiful pictures that she was an incredibly happy person and I know that you were a big part of her happiness along with your children.
