Very official-looking!

Everyone needs a rocket to shop...

Silas' "after"--it's a tractor with a smokestack and wheels (but I think it looks like Cinderella's coach!)

Alexa's "after"--it's a girls who's shivering because it's raining with a breeze on her.

Theo's "after"--it's a lion with a feed bucket in front of it.

Happy Birthday Month to me.

Yep, it's that time of year again--time to get older. But with that comes wisdom, less fear, more faith and a few wrinkles. I'll take it.

I'm a bit behind in adding pictures and stories, but one of my goals this year is to reconnect with my long-distance friends, so this is one way I do that.

I'll be working at getting on here more often, even if it's to post something small.

We'll see how I do! Enjoy!

The Yurek Family (My apologies to the Yureks--I cannot figure out how to get this aligned and sized correctly. And as it's a very late hour...my husband is long gone. We'll have to get it fixed another time! But I don't want you to miss out on their website!)

STORIES

Good-bye #5Well, Theo lost tooth #5 today, but not the one that was loose (and not by conventional methods). He got hit by a ball on the trampoline, and out it came.Well, that's one method, but I wouldn't recommend it. There's a lot more blood. But no tears--that shows a lot of growth!

I see from your blog reading list that you are an Austen fan. I recently read a book by Shannon Hale called 'Austenland.' She is an author that I really enjoy, and while this was a departure from her usual style I thought it was a good read. Hope you enjoy.

P.S. You can no longer call me a blog lurker. I comment like crazy nowadays. :)
