Guestbook I am so impressed and admire what you are doing here and we love seeing you and your beautiful family. Keep up the good work. Love, Michele -Michele Friesen I don't know how you find the time to do all this but we are difinitely the blessed recievers. Is Theo's award picture on here and I can't find it? -Grammi Hunt Among your many talents, Lisa, is your writing style! I love it! In my family, we had my Mom\'s (Great grandma Maria, who wrote beautifully in 4 languages), her brother Demetri who never published but wrote delightful short stories, my father Yannis (another Greek Yannis) who was awarded the Best Essay prize at his entrance examinations to the Greek Polytechnic in Athens and yours truly who wrote decent essays through high school (in Greek of course) - although you wouldn\'t guess now!!I love to read your real life stories - objectively - not because you are my daughter-in-law and the mother of my 3 beautiful grandchildren AND a very special Christian friend. It is a delight! You should consider writing as a profession if and when you find time off from your many ministries and tasks! Love, hugs and prayers!Olga -Olga Friesen Among your many talents, Lisa, is your writing style! I love it! Olga -Olga Friesen Merry Christmas Pologeorgis'! -The Torresluna 6! I see from your blog reading list that you are an Austen fan. I recently read a book by Shannon Hale called 'Austenland.' She is an author that I really enjoy, and while this was a departure from her usual style I thought it was a good read. Hope you enjoy. P.S. You can no longer call me a blog lurker. I comment like crazy nowadays. :) -Patience Wow, so does this mean yo uwill have a few mornings with no children? What are you going to do with all the extra time??? Manicures, pedicures, house cleaning..... Yipee! -Julie What a beautiful tribute to the first five years to your little "Firecracker" of a girl! She is too cute! Julie T. -bhp/thetorreslunafamily Lisa, Look at you...all these entries in just a few days! I love to read about all your adventures as a family! What a fun time you all have. -Julie T. Hey Lisa! I love the stories about your kids and their little personalities. I also love the "play store" story at Angela's house--you guys have very intricate make-believe sessions! And your comments about Theo on his birthday made me tear up. What a sweet family you have! Love you, Alli -Alli Lisa, So happy to hear that you are all having a wonderful time on your vacation! Wow, the "misunderstood Silas" story... Ugh! That must have been a difficult time. You know how blessed you are to have a child with a temperment like Silas for a story like that! I love your before and after pictures! Whata great idea. We havn't tried that. I think I just may try that one of these hot summer days. Have fun! Thanks for "including us" on your vacation. It's fun to be along for the trip! Lol! I'm sure you'll be so happy that you journaled so much. It'll be a trip to remember for a lifetime. -Love, Julie Torresluna Dear Ones! Pappou and I are so happy you were able to go to Greece this year - wish we were tiny critters that could have slipped into your bags and come with you! We are even more happy that you are back home and we were able to participate in Theo's 7th birthday celebration!! Indeed, Lisa, Theo is a very special child and extremely sensitive. Last December, he looked at a photo of my friend Judy, who passed away at the age of 52 after many years of physical problems (the photo is on our refrigerator)and said,"I am so sorry for you Yiayia (Greek for grandma)and when I asked why, he said, "Because you have lost your friend, Judy!"You loved her very much, right?" I love seeing him paint and of course I love to read to them and tell them other stories from Greece and other places. Thank you, Aris and Lisa for "giving" us these precious, beautiful grandchildren. My prayer is that they will know the Lord in a personal way and that they will follow Him all the days of their lives. May they always bring joy to your heart!! -Olga Friesen, Aris' mom You have a great site, what an adorable family you have! Maybe in a year or 2... -Julie Torresluna that cake is awesome! i love the look on the kids face when they saw it... they were licking the wood on the chairs! :) looks like it was a fabulous day. -Diane Davis Emma is really excited about Kindergarten too. I LOVED reading about your little Pooh Bear! That is soo funny! I guess I am a Pooh Bear too... always thinking about food. It's cute when you're two, but at 33...not so cute! He is adorable. Love, Julie -babyhomepages.net/thetorreslunafamily/ Hey Pologeorgis Family! Okay, your website blows ours away! What a great place to jot down those little moments that happen every day that we forget too soon! It was so good to see you guys last month. We will make it your way someday... in the A.L.S. phase of our lives (After Law School). Take care and have a great New Year! The Yurek Family yurekfamily@cox.net -Toby, Carrie, TJ, Tyler & Trey Yurek Are you SURE there is more time between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year? We fly to Oregon this Tuesday and I just realized it... I honestly thought we had another week! So I haven't done a stitch of shopping... but you are right... it will all work out because it is really about slowing down and enjoying the relationships around us. I've been driving with my radio off lately and breathing deeply just to try to center myself. It is important. I'm still loving the stories... keep em coming. :) -Diane Davis Love the new do and the story behind it. Alexa looks just as cute as always! You just may enjoy how quick it is to get her out the door with short hair. Merry Christmas! -Julie It's sooo refreshing to hear that even one of my most "on top of it" friends (you) has "thise kind of days". I love the part of Ding-dongs and Spaghettios! Oh, and the honesty of twice a week bathing!! You are too funny! You still earn the Mother of the Year award in my book! You have 3 precious children who are growing up to Love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and mind.... And that's all that really matters isn't it? Tomorrow's a new day- rejoice and be glad in it. With love, Julie Torresluna -http://babyhomepages.net/thetorreslunafamily/ Haven't been on your page for a while, but really enjoyed catching up. The girls loved going through the pictures and seeing their friends. It was SO good to see you a few weeks ago, although it was not enough time for us. We miss you like crazy! Any trips planned for down our way? We love you all. -Dan, Kim, Grace & Sarah Johnson So many good stories to catch up on! I love the images of Auntie Angela prepping them for Disneyland and having that really help out the trip. Brian REALLY wants to go to Disneyland. We planned to go this year and then went to Maui instead. And he was disappointed (I know, crazy). So when his daughter somes next summer, I might just have to tell them to get in the car and we'll take a road trip! The oatmeal story kills me! Girls and their drama!!! When I worked at the group home, it was always the girls that wore me out. You sound like such a good momma. Keep the stories coming! Diane - What great stories!! I love the one aout Alexa and the oatmeal. I could see that exact scenario playing out at our house too...The drama of girls! And I'm going to have 3! Wow! -Julie T Great stories. Theo is making great progress. Fun to see the pictures and hear the stories. I love the fact that you are keeping track of all of them. Aunt Linda -Linda Cunningham/Designer This is the happiest site!! Everyone on here has a story, creates a story or is the story!! Gotta love that! -monic Hunt Hey Family! I loved reading the Disney story, tho no one would know that you ever say me! Lol. =P I miss you guy a whole bunch and am excited that it's only about a month an a half until I get to come back to see everyone! About the football...can anyone say 6 and 0?? Lol, I miss watching football with you guys and am a little sad that the Superbowl is just days after I come back to Biola. That's okay though, I guess, I just have to find somewhere to watch it (anyone else want to see the Colts win...AGAIN?!) Tell the kids I said Hello and that I love them. Say Hi to Life Group and Mom's Group. Love you! -Kim What a fabulous trip to Disneyland! Sounds like Angela had a blast planning it, and everyone had tons of fun doing it. It really is one of "The happiest places on Earth"! What a memorable trip. -Julie Torresluna This is pretty random, but I happened upon your site after Gary and I were talking about our college days and doing a little homework (a time line thingy), anyway, I found myself reading your stories for an hour and laughing at everything. We are back overseas and learning a new language and culture (again!!), but are right where God wants us. No better place, right? Anyway, loved the site and hope you guys are well! Gary and Coby Scott -Gary and Coby Scott I would have sworn that the close-up picture of Silas at the gym was Theo! He looks just like Theo at about the time you moved away. -Miss you! Julie Oh, I LOVE these stories. Have you read The Brothers K? There is a section of the dinner time prayer that had me laughing so hard I was crying (literally). I didn't know you were a football head. Not only are we a football house, but we have the whole direct TV package AND we both play fantasy football. We're geeks. BTW... love the new layout. :) Diane -Diane Davis PS.... included the blog address in case you forgot it. you have to take out the space between the word blog and spot. :) -Diane Lisa, Thanks for finding me on my blog and writing!
