Lindsey enjoyed soccer. It gave her opportunities to: jump into the net (repeatedly) watch butterflies, pretend to be a unicorn, and occasionally run and kick the ball.

Christy, Please know that Chuck and Jan's friends *are* the ones who feel limited in helping C&J. How we wish we were as near as you all are!! We are envious that you can see them so often, do all the little things that need getting done. And..wow! Your parents... how they, too help Jan. Food, clothes, bedding, snacks everything. Jan doesn't have to "need" anything physcially. That is so awesome!!
We love you and I, personally, thank the LORD for giving Jan such a dear, dear sister-in-law.

Hi Christy, It's the Croaks from New Jersey. We just your Christmas card and letter! Congratulations on your new baby boy! Your family is beautiful. And Lindsey looks just like you. So now you've got one of each, just like me... except mine are getting close to the moving out phase. Meghan is 17 and was just accepted to the UNiv of Richmond for the Fall. John is 13, still sporting the same buzz cut he's always had but now standing about 5'6" and growing a bit each time he sleeps it seems! He's in 7th grade, loves sports. He's on the school basketball team as the point guard and the shooting guard. You taught him well, all those afternoons in the backyard with the plastic bat and ball! I switched jobs just this year, going back full time (just in time to save money for Meghan's college bill). I had been working part-time at the same place I worked when John was a baby and you cared for him. Tom is still working in NYC. I'm sorry your brother has been in the hospital. We have also been experiencing the pain of having an ill family member. My father has been fighting cancer for the past 8 months, in and out of the hospital. He spent T'giving in the hospital and it now looks like Christmas could also be the same. Your website is fun to look at and a great idea. We'll be sure to check back. Best of everything to you and your family in the new year. I hope your brother finds relief from his pain very soon. I wish you and your family a Merry and blessed Christmas.
