Family ParentsJustin and Lisa Ross live with Roman and Adrian in Bloomington, Indiana. They met in Dayton, Ohio while attending Wright State University and were married June 26, 2004. Both of them grew up in Ohio (Lisa is from Cincinnati and Justin is from Spencer, a small town close to Akron), but spent the last four years living in Morgantown, West Virginia. Currently, Justin is teaching economics for the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University. He completed his Ph. D. in economics at West Virginia University in May, 2008. Now he teaches graduate level classes in the field of Public Finance. Lisa was a first grade teacher for four years, and taught kindergarten for a year before that. Now she is a stay-at-home mom and absolutely loving it. She helps to organize an online Mom's meet-up group which is very active in the community. She's enjoying the smaller class size-- changing from 25 during school days to having 2 all day long! Grandparents Grandma and Grandpa Ross (Mary and Mike) live in Spencer, Ohio. Grandpa is an electrical engineer for ESM II and Grandma works at a local restaurant in town. Grammy and Gramps Stricker (Connie and Dave) live in Cincinnati, Ohio. Grammy teaches junior high computer lab and science at St. Thomas More and Gramps is a veterinarian at his own Clermont Animal Hospital. Aunts and Uncles Uncle Alex Ross graduated in June, 2008, from Wright State University. He has a bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS) and currently works for corporate Speedway. Uncle Matthew Ross is a junior at Black River High School. He runs cross country and enjoys writing. Aunt Julie and Uncle Dave Esposito live in Cincinnati with their dogs Becker and Apple and cats Arayas and Peaches. Julie is a veterinarian working with Gramps at Clermont Animal Hospital. Dave is an electrical engineer for Cincinnati Milicron. Their little boy Joseph was the boys' first cousin. Aunt Amy moved last year to Pasadena, California. She works for a hospital in their marketing department. Her fiance Pete lives out there as well and works as a pilot captain for Express Jet. They are planning a wedding for 2010. Amy is Roman's godmother. Aunt Jenny graduated with a Masters in education from Loyola University in Chicago while working with inner-city children. She is a second grade teacher. Uncle David currently attends University of Cincinnati and is pursuing a degree in computer science. He is Roman's godfather. His wife Leah also attends UC. They were married on August 30, 2008. Aunt Linda graduated from Ohio University in the spring with a degree in journalism. She is the editor for Cincy Chic. Her husband, Uncle Criss, is preparing to start school and working at Wal-mart. Linda and Criss were married in Ecuador on March 27, 2008, and will be celebrating their marriage with the family next summer. Cousins Joseph John Esposito arrived on December 6, 2008. He was 8 lb. 13 oz. and 22" long. The boys are looking forward to the meeting their new playmate! We pray every night for the "new baby." |
