Update 1/31/2009 We just got back from our trip to Disney World. We had such a great time and it was so magical for the girls. The girl,s favorite part was meeting all the princess's, they were speechless when they would talk to them. They also rode every ride that they could at the parks. We spent 4 days at the Magic Kingdom because there was so much to do there, the nightly parade and fireworks were amazing! We can't wait to go back again.
Update 1/11/2009 Madison is turning 5!! G. &. G. Roush came down to visit this weekend for Madison's birthday. They got celebrate her birthday party with her at The Little Gym with all of her friends. There were 15 kids and everyone had a blast, they all played so hard. Her actual birthday is tomorrow and she will be celebrating it with all her friends at school. I can't believe she is turning 5 and will be starting Kindergarten this fall. Happy Birthday Madison!
Update 12/19/2008 Kennedy had her school Christmas party yesterday. The kids played games and had a Birthday party for Jesus. It was really cute. Madison's party was today and was very similar; they had fun playing musical chairs and breaking a pinata. We are all excited for Christmas especially since today is Daddy's last day until after the New Year.
Update 12/14/2008 The girls had their school's Christmas program at Church this morning. Madison was Mary and Kennedy was a sheep. The girls did a great job and all the kids were so cute. G. and G. Shine came down to visit so it made it even more special.
Update 11/30/2008 Grandma & Grandpa Roush came down to visit us for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time and it was so nice to share this holiday with family. The girls always have so much fun when Grandma & Grandpa are here, thanks for a great Thanksgiving.
Update 11/26/2008 The girls had their Thanksgiving parties at school this week. They both made turkey hats to wear while they sang their songs. It was really cute to hear them sing and tell us what they're thankful for. After the program they had a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch.
Update 11/1/2008 What a busy week! Both girls
had their Halloween parties this week and I volunteered to help with both of
them, this week just flew by. Kennedy had her party on Thursday and it
was so cute, they sang a song, had a hayride, scavenger hunt, a pinata, and
then ate lunch. Madison's party on Friday was exactly the same except she
dressed up as a fairy; her school would not allow witch costumes. All the
kids had so much fun. Friday evening we went Trick-or-Treating in our
neighborhood and the girls did awesome this year! They walked down two
streets and we even had to make a pit stop at home to unload their
buckets. This Halloween was so much fun, especially since everyone was
healthy!
Update 10/27/2008 The girls had their school field trip today at Fisher's Orchard. They got to ride on a hayride, pet animals, and pick out their own apples and pumpkins. Despite how chilly it was they still had a great time.
Update 10/18/2008 Last night we went to Boo In The Zoo with the Curtis's. The girls had so much fun trick-or-treating in the zoo with their friends. They wanted to eat there candy so bad last night and we kept telling them to wait until the morning; this resulted in Kennedy only sleeping about 3 hours last night because she kept asking if it was morning yet. Were looking forward to going to a Halloween party tonight at the Thompson's house. I love this time of the year!
Update 10/4/2008 We went back to Ohio this weekend to see everyone. The girls had fun visiting with all their Grandparents, Cousins, Uncles, and Aunts. It was so nice seeing everyone again!
Update 10/6/2008 This weekend was the GE Family Day festival. It's a huge event with free food and free rides for all GE employees. We went with our friends the Thompson's and the girls had so much fun. The girls rode on almost all the rides; there were a few bellyaches from all the sugary food though. After the festival we stayed and watched the fireworks, we couldn't have asked for a nicer day.
Update 9/23/2008 The girls got their first pet this weekend, Biscuit. He is doing so good so far with the girls. The girls are overwhelming him a bit, but I'm sure after a couple weeks it will get better.
Update 9/8/2008 This weekend we had a great time in Myrtle Beach with the Curtis Family. We all stayed in a beautiful cottage that was brand new and awesome. The girls got along great and had fun building sand castles and finding seashells and the adults had fun boogie boarding. The weather was so nice even though tropical storm Hanna had just left; we got very lucky. We can't wait to do this trip again!
Update 9/3/2008 Kennedy started Preschool yesterday and had a hard time in the morning. When I asked her for a hug and a kiss she started screaming. After about 10 minutes of trying to calm her down the teacher took her and I left. It was so hard for me to leave on a bad note. When I went to pick her up the teacher said that she only cried for about 3 minutes after I left and did wonderful, I was very happy to hear that! Madison started Preschool today and did great, she ran into school and started playing with all her friends. She was so excited this morning and carried her book bag around for an hour before we left.
Update 9/1/2008 It has been such a busy summer, a couple weeks ago we started building a pool house. It is coming along great and the girls love helping their Dad. The girls will be starting school this week and are very excited. Kennedy keeps asking me if I am going with her and she thinks that Madison will be in her class. I think it will be hard for her to adjust at first, but she will get there. Were also looking forward to going to Myrtle Beach this weekend with the Curtis Family, hopefully the weather will cooperate! I will be updating with school pictures in a couple days.
Update 8/9/2008 I know it's been awhile since we have updated the website, we have been so busy this summer! We went to Dupont Forest in North Carolina this weekend with our friends the Curtis's. We left early in the morning and spent the day hiking and playing near the waterfall. The girls had so much fun! It was so beautiful; we couldn't have asked for a nicer day.
Update 7/26/2008 Grandma & Grandpa Roush came down to visit this weekend. The girls had so much fun and were very tired from playing. We enjoyed setting off fireworks, swimming, and going to downtown Greenville with them to see the fireworks display. The girls did really well watching fireworks this year. It was a fun 4th of July!
Update 6/22/2008 It's been awhile since I've updated and I actually haven't taken many pictures of the girls lately. I will definitely post some pictures soon. We have been really busy this summer doing lots of things on the weekends with our friends. Eric and I actually celebrated our 6-year Anniversary last night with some friends; we enjoyed a nice dinner in downtown Greenville. Other things that I have forgotten to post is Kennedy being potty trained now for 6 months, I'm just a little late on that! Kennedy has also moved into a daybed just like her sister and has not had her blanket at night now for a week. The girls are growing up so fast! We are really enjoying our summer and can't believe how quickly it's going.
