Update 6/7/2008  We had a very busy week with guests and friends.  Aunt Leslie, Uncle Jon, Gabe, and Sofia came down to visit.  We had a great time and can't wait to see them again.  Friday night we went to a festival with our friends the Curtis's.  The girls had so much fun on all the rides and also enjoyed seeing a circus show.  It was so HOT, but that didn't seem to faze them at all.

Update 5/31/2008  Happy Birthday Kennedy!  Kennedy is turning 3 on Wednesday and we celebrated her party today.  The birthday theme was My Little Pony and we celebrated by having a pool party at our house with all of her friends.  Everyone had a great time; it's so hard to believe our little one is going to be 3.

Update 5/26/2008  We went camping this weekend at King's Mountain with our friends the Thompson's and had a great time.  The girls did really well considering this was their first time camping.  Kennedy had trouble sleeping and was up most of the night but Madison slept through everything.  We had fun hiking and riding on the paddleboats during the day and the girls had fun roasting marshmallows at night.  What a fun weekend!

Update 5/22/2008 Madison's last day of school was today. They ended the year with a field trip to the zoo and a picnic afterwards. Madison did so well at school and she made so many friends, her class is very tight. All of the mothers are going to get together this summer so the kids can still keep in touch. Madison is already looking forward to next year!

Update 5/18/2008  Last weekend we went to the Family Festival in Greer.  The girls had so much fun with their friends Ella and Alle.  They went on many rides and really enjoyed the petting zoo.  We're all looking forward to our camping trip this weekend with the Thompson family!

Update 5/8/2008  Madison's school put on a Mother's Day program today. The kids sang many songs and then we had lunch afterwards. I am such a proud mom of my girls! Click here to see Madison sing.

Update 5/7/2008  Eric and I just got back from a wonderful vacation to Myrtle Beach thanks to G. & G. Roush.  The girls had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa while we were gone and Madison already asked us when we were going to go on vacation again.  Eric and I really appreciate G. & G. Roush for watching the girls so we could have some time to ourselves.

Update 4/21/2008  It's been awhile since we have updated pictures, sorry.  We have had a lot of fun the past couple of weeks getting together with friends on the weekend and just enjoying the beautiful weather.  It won't be too much longer until we can open up the pool!

Update 3/24/2008 We just got back from our trip to Ohio, the girls had so much fun with their grandparents. They got lots of candy and clothes from the Easter bunny! The girls loved visiting with their cousin's Gabe and Sofia; Madison loves following Gabe around and couldn't stop touching Sofia. We were also very surprised to see 5 inches of snow while we were there. The girls went sledding and had a blast; all you could here when they went down the hill were giggles and squeals. Since the girls didn't have any boots we put plastic bags on their feet with rubber bands holding them up, it was hilarious! It was so good seeing everyone again.

Update 3/15/2008  We had our neighborhood's Easter egg hunt this morning and the girls had so much fun.  They are still terrified of the Easter Bunny and I don't blame them one bit; he is pretty scary looking!

Update 3/3/2008  We went to Myrtle Beach this weekend to visit Grandma and Grandpa Smith, they were so nice to let us stay with them.  The girls had a lot of fun finding seashells on the beach and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather!  We had such a good visit and we already miss them so much.

Update 2/24/2008  We had a really fun weekend with our friends.  On Friday we went out to eat with everyone and on Saturday we went to the Greenville Zoo; it was in the upper 60's and absolutely beautiful.  The girls really enjoyed the warm weather and playing with their friends.

Update 2/14/2008  Madison had her Valentine's party at school today.  The class sang three songs for everyone, exchanged valentines to each other, and played games.  Madison has made so many friends in her class and really enjoys going to school.

Update 2/5/2008  We had a lot of fun this weekend!  On Saturday we went with our friends Brandi and JD to the GE prom, it's a very formal event for GE employees.  We stayed there for a while and then decided to go to downtown Greenville and meet some of our friends.  On Sunday we decided to go to the Columbia Zoo.  The girls had fun and we couldn't have asked for nicer weather.  Kennedy was so brave and fed the giraffes, goats, and birds; Madison wanted nothing to do with that.  We had such a great weekend!

Update 1/28/2008  The Bounce Castle that we got Madison for her birthday months ago finally came in today.  The girls have had so much fun with it so far.  They really like the inflatable swords that it came with and like hitting each other with them.

Update 1/20/2008  We had a get together at our house yesterday for Madison's birthday.  She is feeling a lot better now and had so much fun with her friends.  She wanted a Princess party this year with her friends Ella, Alle, Brenna, and Erin.  All of the parent's were downstairs and all we could hear upstairs were squeals and giggles, it was really cute!  Madison ended up having a good birthday, just a little late.

Update 1/17/2008  We got snow!!!  Everyone is so excited around here because we got about two inches of snow last night followed by freezing rain.  When the girls woke up this morning they couldn't wait to go outside.  We built a little snowman and Dad pulled Kennedy and I on the sled.  Madison was only outside for about 5 minutes, she's still feeling a little under the weather.  It's so nice to see snow again!

Update 1/12/2008  Happy Birthday Madison!  Today is Madison's 4th birthday and unfortunately we had to cancel her party.  On Wednesday we took her into the doctor's because she was really sick and after some tests they confirmed that she has pneumonia.  Were going to try to have her birthday party next week sometime with her friends.  She still opened up her presents this morning even though she wasn't really feeling up to it; I know she will love playing with them when she gets better.

Update 1/03/2008 This past weekend G. & G. Roush came down to visit us. The girls were so excited to see them and have Christmas all over again. We enjoyed taking Grandma and Grandpa to the zoo and to Downtown Greenville. On New Years Eve the girls enjoyed playing with Sparklers in our backyard and Mom and Dad enjoyed a nice evening out. We had a great time and can't wait for the next round of visitors.

Update 12/25/2007  What a wonderful Christmas we're having!  It started off last night when the girls made cookies for Santa and set them out along with milk, apples for his reindeer, and pictures that they colored for him.  This morning they woke up early very excited to open up their stockings and presents.  We all received wonderful gifts and would like to thank our Friends and Family for everything.  Merry Christmas!
