Update 12/16/2007 Madison had her Christmas program at Church this morning; she did so good and was very loud. Kennedy also did well and was entertained with the program acting like it was a telescope.
Update 12/15/2007 Happy Birthday Brenna! Yesterday we went to Chuck E. Cheeses to celebrate Brenna's Birthday. Madison had so much fun playing with all of her friends from school.
Update 12/2/2007 Our good friends from Texas got a preview of Greenville this weekend. They're going to be moving here in January and the girls are thrilled. Madison and Kennedy are so excited that their friends Ella and Alle will be living so close to them. They have all known each other since they were babies. We went to Downtown Greenville with the Thompson's and last night went to their hotel to swim and hang out. We can't wait to see them again in a month and spend many more fun times with them!!
Update 11/26/2007 Madison had her Thanksgiving program at school last week. She was so cute and looked adorable in her Indian hat. All of the kid's in her class sang two songs and performed a little ribbon dance. They each had to say what they were thankful for and Madison said that she was thankful for her hermit crabs :-) We had a great Thanksgiving and we have so much to be thankful for!
Update 11/12/2007 We just got home from our trip to Ohio and we had a really good time. On Friday we had dinner at Uncle Aaron and Aunt Courtney's house with G. & G. Roush. The girls loved their dog Chewy; Madison kept saying that he was hungry so she could feed him. We spent all day Saturday at G. & G. Shine's house with Aunt Leslie, Uncle Jon, Gabe, and little Sofia. Sofia is such an angel and it was not easy saying goodbye to her. On Sunday we went to G. & G. Smith's house and spent the afternoon with them. It was so nice finally getting to see their new house, it's so beautiful!! We had such a great time and it was so nice seeing everyone again.
Update 11/01/2007 The girls had so much fun trick-or-treating last night. They went with our neighbor Lisa; Madison had so much fun running from house to house with her. Kennedy only went to about 4 houses and stayed in the wagon the rest of the time. We felt so bad for her because she came down with a bad cold yesterday. When the girls were done trick-or-treating we went back to our house and passed out candy. Madison was so generous and tried to give every kid about 5 pieces of candy. What a fun night!!
Update 10/21/2007 We went to Boo in the Zoo this weekend; Vendors set up booths and pass out candy all through the zoo. Madison dressed up as Princess Aurora and Kennedy was a Fairy. The girls loved looking at all the other kid's costumes and had a really good time!
Update 10/14/2007 This weekend was the Fall for Greenville Festival. We went with the Curtis Family and Madison and Brenna had a blast. Madison thought it was so cool to go on all the rides with her friend. Kennedy on the other hand was very intimidated by the crowd of people and just wasn't in the mood to do anything.
Update 10/11/2007 Madison had her school field trip yesterday at Niven's Apple Farm. Kennedy and I went with her and it was so much fun. It was really cute to see who her friends were at school. We went on a hayride around the farm, looked at all of the animals, picked out pumpkins, went through the corn maze, and the girls played on all of the cool things they have there. It was a really fun morning!
Update 10/07/2007 Yesterday we went to the GE Family Day Festival. We were there for four hours and the girls were not worn out one bit!! Madison rode on almost every ride and we were really surprised with Kennedy trying a lot of them also. The girls really liked the festival food including funnel cakes and snow cones. We had so much fun and the girls are already looking forward to going next year.
Update 9/23/2007 This weekend Grandma & Grandpa Smith came down to visit us. We went to downtown Greenville yesterday and ate lunch there and then walked around in the park. The girls had such a great visit with them and were very sad to see them go.
Update 9/16/2007 Madison and Kennedy have a new cousin! Baby Sofia was born yesterday morning weighing in at 6 lbs, 7 oz. She is so adorable and we can't wait to meet her. Congratulations Aunt Leslie and Uncle Jon and Gabe your going to be such a great big brother!
Update 9/05/2007 Madison started Preschool yesterday; she is such a big girl now. She was so excited all morning and had no problems at all when I dropped her off. As Kennedy and I were walking out of the school Kennedy started crying, " I want Madison", it was so sad. When I picked her up from school she ran over to me and started telling me about all the things she did that day. She is really looking forward to going back tomorrow. We are so proud of her!
Update 9/03/2007 The girls have had so much fun this weekend. The weekend started off with a Luau party at our house on Saturday; The Zondervan, Lamprecht, and Hynum Families were there to celebrate the fun. On Sunday we went to Downtown with the Zondervan Family to eat and play at the park. When we got home we had a campfire and roasted marshmallows; the girls thought they were hot stuff! We had a great Labor Day weekend!
Update 8/28/2007 G. & G. Roush came down to visit this weekend. The girls had so much fun with them!!! We went swimming in the pool a lot and also went to downtown Greenville to the Reedy Falls Bridge. The girls were very sad to see them go :-(
Update 8/12/2007 Yesterday we had a cookout at our house with the Zondervan's and Murphy's. The kids played so well with each other, which made it really fun for the adults. Were looking forward to the next get together!

Update 7/29/2007 This weekend Mommy got to go on a girls trip to Myrtle Beach and had so much fun; I went with my really good friend Whitne and her sister and her 5 friends. The trip was very relaxing and we couldn't have gone with a funner group of girls! Dad had fun with the girls and stayed busy by doing things with Ryan and his kids. They went to the park and then spent Saturday afternoon at GattiTown. Thanks for a great weekend!
