Update 12/25/2006 Merry Christmas!! The girls had so much fun opening up their presents this morning. Madison was so cute last night; she colored pictures for Santa and hung them on the fridge. She said that Santa would be so happy to see her beautiful pictures. Santa took all of her pictures last night and wrote her a letter saying how good her and Kennedy have been this year. The girls wanted to send a big Thank You to everyone for a great Christmas.

Update 12/22/2006 The girls are getting very excited for Santa to come. Kennedy is so eager to open up presents; each day Madison and I have to pull her away from the tree. Madison keeps telling Kennedy, "It's not Christmas yet"!

Update 12/07/2006 Last week we went to see Santa and Madison did so well. When she got off Santa's lap she asked, "Where is my Dora Castle" and we had to explain to her that he will bring it on Christmas Day. Kennedy wanted to see Santa but when she got up close she ran over to Daddy. We also went to see Christmas lights in Greenville and the girls had a good time. They are loving this time of the year!

Update 11/26/2006 This week the girls went to visit their grandparents in Ohio. They had so much fun and did really good on the trip. It was really good to see everyone and thanks for a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Update 11/18/2006 Madison and Dad went to the Doodlebops concert last night and had such a good time. Check out her cool moves. She has done a great job with her potty training and we wanted to do something big for her. Dad said that she was dancing the whole time with other kids and showed off her dance moves! Kennedy and I can't wait to go to the next concert.

Update 11/14/2006 This past Saturday the girls and I went to Paris Mountain to watch their dad run a 6.89-mile trail race. He got 6th place overall and was 1st in his age group. The girls had so much fun cheering him on and were so proud of their dad!

Update 11/10/2006 This week we didn't do a whole lot because both girls were sick and Kennedy ended up getting another ear infection. We did go to the zoo on Friday and it was a beautiful day for it, it was in the 80's. We went with some friends and had a great time!

Update 11/01/2006 The girls had so much fun trick or treating last night. Madison cried at a couple of houses because they were a little too scary for her and Kennedy kept trying to go in the people?s houses. We were out for about an hour and came back to our house to pass out candy. Madison loved passing out candy and was very upfront with everyone on how his or her costumes looked. The girls loved Halloween this year!!

Update 10/29/2006 Grandma and Grandpa Smith visited this weekend! The girls had so much fun going to the pumpkin patch with them and swimming in their hotel pool. They got the girls dolls and Kennedy takes hers everywhere and refuses to let anyone touch it.

Update 10/22/2006 We went to Boo In The Zoo and the girls had so much fun. Madison was a cheerleader and Kennedy was a ladybug. Unfortunately we do not have pictures because our camera was ruined on the way to the mountains last week. We just bought a new camera so we will post picutres of the girls next week in their Halloween costumes.

Update 10/18/2006 This past weekend we took the girls to Blue Ridge Mountain in Georgia and stayed in a cabin. Uncle Aaron and Aunt Manvi joined us. We had such a good time, the cabin was amazing and the view from it was so beautiful! The girls favorite part of the trip was playing with Uncle Aaron and Aunt Manvi's dog Ronnie.

Update 10/10/2006 Grandma & Grandpa Roush came down to visit this weekend. The girls had so much fun and enjoyed taking them to the pumpkin patch.

Update 9/30/2006 Madison hit a milestone this weekend! She was playing at the school park and said that she had to pee, but there were no restrooms around. We went in the woods near the park and she pulled down her pants, squatted and peed! Dad was so proud :)

Update 9/16/2006 The girls ran a race with their dad yesterday and did very well. They did much better than we had anticipated. The results are unofficial, but I think they both got first in their age group.

Update 9/16/2006 This week Madison was playing at the park and stepped in a fireant hill. She was bitten about 15 times and daddy was bitten about 6. Those ants are viscous!

Update 9/10/2006 The girls went to their friend Jace's birthday party this weekend. Madison stepped on a bee; she has had bad luck lately! They both enjoyed swimming at the community pool with all their friends.

Update 9/4/2006 Today we found a frog in our pool!! The girls liked to pet the frog, actually Kennedy liked to squeeze it. We tried to get Madison to hold it, but she kept insisting that Kennedy wanted to. Both girls got to hold the frog on their lap before we let it go.

Update 8/31/2006 Madison and Kennedy went to the park today with their friend Jace. They enjoyed riding in their barbie jeep until it started pouring from tropical storm Ernesto. The rain didn't bother Madison at all, she walked home dripping wet!

Update 8/27/2006 Madison and her friend Jace both got stung by a wasp yesterday while playing on the swingset. This was her first sting and she handled it pretty well. After daddy put a Dora band-aid on her she said that she was all better!

Update 8/24/2006 Madison finally decided that she would make it easy on us and started using the potty. Her rewards are Dora stickers, cookies, and going for a car ride to see horses. Kennedy is walking at full speed now to keep up with her sister. She gave us a scare a week ago when she fell on her cup and cut her lip and gum really bad. The little stinker almost needed stitches.
