Stories Hello Everyone! I just wanted to update you on Seth's latest. The oncologists think he has relapsed in his skull. I will be taking Seth to Memorial Sloan Kettering hospital in New York for treatment from here on out. We leave Monday the 9th. They will start running tests, scans and do the bone marrow biopsy to see what is going on. Ok fingers crossed everyone and prayers please!!!!! WE need good news!!! More later...thanks, Cyndi Hello everyone! Just an update on Seth. Seth had surgery on his ears last week and this week he had stomach surgery to correct a somach fistula. He is home now and doing fine. He is due for a bone scan next week and they will have to do it without the CT DYE. This is not very accurate for detecting the cancer as I am told. I am soooo scared! Please say prayers for him and for the doctors to guide them. I will keep you posted after we get the results! Thanks a bunch! Cyndi Good news everyone! So far Seth's last MIBG scans showed no signs of active disease. His catacolimines are normal again and his platelets have risen! This is great news! He is gaining some weight due to steriods the doctors put him on. I will keep you all informed as we move along. Next dr's apt is in a week! I will never know that feeling when a daddy loves his son because your gone..daddy please tell me what have I done? I am sorry I got cancer and came to cause you stress. Daddy Iam sorry, I didn't mean to make your life such a mess. I wish I could have known you and touched your face like mine and felt a love from you and become father and son intertwined. I probably will go to heaven without your loving affection, and always remember mommy crying when looking in your direction. Daddy did you know I have your hands and eyes. The love of fixing things that made you all the wise. There is one difference, one that stands us hearts apart..and that is, I will stand to be a proud man who holds his head held high. Knowing that you ever abandoned me will not make this man in the making lie down and die. Good luck in the hearafter daddy. Remember you reap what you sew. May God, dear daddy have mercy on your wicked soul!
