Well, this year we did not get to go to the Pumpkin Patch all together because Devon, Cooper and Sadie have all been sick. We went on separate days but we went to the same patch so our pictures all match. We had fun picking out pumpkins and taking some fun pictures. It is just starting to cool off a little bit too. We sure have a lot to be thankful for at this special time of year. Praise God!
On September 4 we brought home two new little girl Italian Greyhound puppies, Haven & Jenny. Haven was born on the same date as our beloved Bandit March 27 ( she was just meant to be ours) and Jenny was born on 06/07/08 (cool date to be born). I didn't realize how much I missed having a puppy and now we have two. Can't wait for you all to meet them.
When we were up in PA for Dad's funeral Brooke and Scott had our birthday party and I was glued to a chair to celebrate my birthday too.I wish I could have been with them but I was there in spirit.
On August 10, 2008 Jeff's dad passed away after spending almost a month in the hospital fighting to regain his health. Jeff was blessed to make a trip up to spend some very memorable time with his Dad in the hospital and he will cherish that time forever. We went back up last week for the funeral and again were blessed to be able to share so many memories with family and friends. Dad will be missed dearly.
On August 2, 2008 Jan & Pete got married. Jeff performed the ceremony and Shannon sang "A moment like this". It was a intimate setting and everything went perfect. I can honestly say I have never known my brother to be happier. Jan & Pete...Happily ever after...
Saturday we celebrated Cooper's 4th birthday with a Indiana Jones pool party at the VonBalson's. We had a great time and all the kids swam until they were beat. Cooper got a Indy hat and whip that had sound effects. He turned into "Cooper Jones" and really played the part. It was a great day.
Today Gracie & Lexi had thier first swim meet at the Plantation community pool. They both swam in two races and also a relay race. They really did a great job and had a lot of fun doing it. We were, of course, the perpetual fans. It was a fun morning and they,once again, made us proud.

Today Shannon took Sadie to the mall and had her ears pierced. She really looks like a little doll baby. Let the jewelry buying begin!!!!!
